Monster Integration

Eight days had passed since I had escaped from the clutches of the four families and, till now, they were not able to able to find me.

They are still searching; just yesterday, I had seen people of nem race and tiger beastmen race come to heart canal valley. They even passed by me, but did not recognize me.

I had changed my armor and aura again, to wipe out all the signs.

Now, I am just a High-Primary-III.

Currently, I am running on a large lake. There are barely any monsters here, all of them killed by people.

Thousands of people travel through this lake every day, and three months is more than enough to vanquish all the monsters that used to live in the lake.

I pushed away the pity for the dead monster and continued running, before stopping a few minutes later.

In front of a large white teleportation gate.

I am leaving the lake command for a different place. I have harvested enough resources from the heart canal valley. That now, I want to go to a different place and harvest different types of resources.

There were not many people around the teleportation formation, which is not surprising.

Less than two weeks remained before the ruin closes and people don't want to leave. The region where the exit is.

Once the exit disappeared, they can forget about leaving this place.

The only people who are still using these teleportation gates are people like me, who have a token with the charge to return. Not to mention, the place I am going to is close to the teleportation gate.

I will only stay there for a week before returning here and leaving this ruin.

Umber Region

The umber region is one of the furthest regions of Silverinth, much less prosperous than the other regions, but had what I needed.

I looked at the sunny sky, before toward the forest which is not far away from me.

This region had no specific element, like all the others. It had all types of elemental energy and produces all kinds of resources.

The forest in front of me aver forest, and it had all kinds of resources I need.

Thankfully, it shouldn't be over-harvested. As 70% of people search for opportunities in the ruins. That 30% of people who search for the resources, search for them in the four prime regions.

It is not like people did not come here, they came, but in much less quantity than in the other regions.

Soon, I reached the forest and was instantly got amazed by what I felt.

It is for this reason; I have come to this place, despite its disadvantages. The presence of the mother tree helps in growing a certain kinds of resources and I need those resources.

These resources are not so powerful, but they have a certain thing that I need.

I had just taken a step when I suddenly stopped when two people appeared in front of me. One is a blond bearded human man who looked to be in his late thirties, while the other is Wolf Beastwoman.

"You know, I am really not in the mood. If you tried to rob me, then I will take all your stuff, your storage weapons, and even clothes."

"So, think carefully," I said to two Peak Primary-III.

Their expressions turned serious, and they remained as such for a couple of seconds, before a smile appeared on the human man's face.

"You are mistaken, friend; you were not trying to rob you. We were just come to ask you for some water. We ended up drinking all ours," he said shamelessly.

I rolled my eyes. What a sorry excuse. With their power, they could live without water for weeks, not to mention there is water not just far away.

The excuse was so bad that even his girlfriend was glaring at me.

"Here is the water," I said and threw the water bottle at them before moving ahead. They took the water and watched me leave, not attacking me.

Very few people are smart like them.

What I had said to them was not an empty threat. I had done that to people; I had not only taken their stuff and clothes, but also sealed their power. They were forced to cover themselves with leaves for their decency.

Those were the luckiest ones. The ones who had shown me the killing intent had turned to dust.

An hour passed, and I stopped at the spot where I was greedily pulling the purple spotted grass. There is a large area covered in them, and I am going to harvest it all.

It took me a little more than half an hour, but I did it. I pulled all the purple spotted glass, leave not even a single matured stalk.

Hours passed, and I harvested one resource after another as I went deeper into the forest. There are a lot of resources and monsters, most of which I am avoiding with the help of Nero.

The ones I could not avoid. I have to fight.

Thankfully, the two monsters I fought were not that powerful. Not like that white cat.

I had nearly died fighting it three days ago.

A few more hours passed, and the sky begin to darken, and I stopped harvesting the resources and walked toward the closest hiding spot.

Nero had found many of them, with the closest one a few minutes away from me.

'Father, I have found something interesting,' said Nero, sounding excited, which immediately stopped me.

It is not the first time Nero finding things. He had over twenty abodes and other thing's heart canal valley, but he was never excited about them.

This time, he was excited, and it couldn't help but make me curious.
