3923 Familiar Woman

"Captain, what happened?" asked Dwera as Raha suddenly stopped.

"Follow me," he ordered.

Dwera wanted to ask the question but closed his mouth seeing the expressions on his face, and just followed after him without uttering any word.

Her expression changed a few seconds later, and I looked at her in question.

"Someone is coming. Someone powerful," said Dwera. I looked at her in question.

'You will sense it within seconds,' she replied, and, as she had said, I did, and my expressions changed as they did.

Well, I had sensed her away before any of them did. I have been tracking her as she rapidly moves toward the toward the target.

We are moving toward the target as well. It's clear, that the captain knew, where the target was.

I turned to the five, who had moved toward the target. Sensing the woman. She isn't really hiding herself; she is moving straight toward the target

Soon, she had reached near the target, and five had revealed themselves.

The woman stopped. Though, not in surprise; I had seen her soul sense and how she had moved. She had discovered them, but she still moved for the rescue.

'You have taken a while to come and came alone. We thought Alkaz would send more people to rescue their members,"

'It seemed like, we had over-prepared,' said the white tailed man.

They know, she is from Alkaz, but still willing to fight. Kill her, given their killing intent. Through this, they are being careful, using a method to talk.

Their words could only be heard by those in the enclosed vicinity. I am only hearing it because of my seeds.

"I am alone is more than enough to deal with the critter of sky grade," replied the woman, making them angry with her insult.

"Quite confident. Are we?" asked a white-tailed man. "It isn't confident, just a belief," replied the woman casually, making the white-tailed man angry.

"Good. I want to see the same belief when I pierced my sword into your chest," said the while-tailed man and moved toward the woman with the five of his teammates.

"She is the enemy," said Captain.

He didn't have to state it. Even Dwera had understood, who were allies and who were the enemies.

They came at her from all sides, while she remained in the place, before suddenly moving at incredible speed.

CLANG CLANG CLANG!

Her spear clashed against the sword of the white-tailed man and pushed him back one step, before dodging the attack from the beastman and then engaging with the human.

"Sup!"

"She is powerful," said Dwera, sucking a deep breath. Even the Captain looked kind of shocked.

However, the ones that are most shocked are the five, who are fighting her. Well, it's their fault; they shouldn't have underestimated Alkaz.

It is the most powerful organization, with every member being elite.

They have people like Red Hunter, who could fight Prime while still bringing Sky Sovereigns.

I couldn't blame them; they had prepared well, but the person, they had sent wasn't weak. She is really powerful, not only in strength, but also in skills.

Which feels familiar. It may be due to fighting style; it had elements of Alkaz's standard fighting style, which she had expertly molded to suit her.

"What is the plan, captain?" I asked the man.

"Wait," he replied simply, and I could see Dwera shuddering, and I, too, had shuddered. We are a little too close to fight for the comfort.

If she turned to us. It will be a game over.

Through captain might be able to survive, considering the energy is suppressed here. On the outside, he wouldn't be her match, he might be able to take a few moves.

For this mission, they have chosen the people with the greater physical capabilities.

All four of us have greater physical strength than the average powerhouse.

Captain also practices some kind of a great method that gives him steel-like muscles and provides him with greater physical strength.

We didn't question the captain, but there is a fear in our eyes. We had pushed more power in our stealth abilities, wanting to stay as hidden as possible.

The battle is getting more intense by the second. The five are using everything they have, but the woman isn't weak either.

Hun!

Over a minute passed and the state of five had become better. They are not getting pushed back anymore and making use of teamwork to contain her.

Hun!

I was watching when something lit up in my core. Surprising me.

'Well, I didn't expect that.' I thought.

I know this woman. I had once saved her life. I had seen her once before that. It was my first big contact with the cultists, where they had sacrificed the entire city.

It was a little of her fault, coming there without backup.

The only reason I had survived the sacrifice was because of Nero.

If not for him; I wouldn't have been standing here.

She is powerful, but those five are Peak Sky Sovereigns, who are well-versed in working together. They might not be able to beat her numerical advantage, but they could keep her contained.

That would be bad enough for her. If they had called more backup.

I watched while making my own plans. It would be a shame if something happened to her. She is powerful and has a great inheritance.

"Where is your confidence now?" asked the man with white tails as he attacked her again.

"It is still in the same place," she replied as she defended against his attacks, before dodging the attacks of the two others.

"Well, it seemed like, we will really have to do something to shake that," he said and turned.

To my surprise. He had turned to us.

"Kill the target," he ordered, and the woman's eyes widened. She moved immediately to save the target, but five moved and blocked her.

They shook as they stopped her, but succeeded in it doing nonetheless, giving our captain the confidence.

"We have got the orders. Let's move," said Captain and moved toward the target.

We are not the only ones, that moved. The other three teams have also moved with us.
