#46 - Chapter 46: The world in the cave, shuddering

After two loud thuds, Er Gou was utterly disoriented from the fall, while Zhu Zhu fainted outright. One of her legs was twisted at an unnatural angle, suggesting it was broken.

Er Gou took a moment to recover, finally snapping out of his daze. He looked up and realized he had fallen into a large pit. This pit was over ten feet wide, like a vertical well, and at least thirty meters deep. The walls of the pit were incredibly smooth, making it impossible to climb out.

Frustrated, he remembered Zhu Zhu.

In the darkness, Zhu Zhu's clothes were easily visible. He spotted her immediately, but she was lying motionless on the ground. He didn't know if she was dead or alive from the fall.

He couldn't help but worry. If she really died from the fall, would he be responsible for her death? What a sin! What a sin! All this because of a toad.

Speaking of which, he was the one in the wrong. No matter the reason, looking at a woman's body was highly immoral. If he hadn't seen her body, he wouldn't have provoked her to try and kill him.

Filled with deep remorse, he walked to Zhu Zhu's side and gently turned her over. In the dim light, he saw that she was indeed beautiful. He didn't know how to describe it, but he had once heard Big White Elephant say that an extremely beautiful woman was called captivatingly alluring.

To be fair, Zhu Zhu's name wasn't great, but she was actually quite pretty.

He quickly reached out to feel her breath and was relieved to find she was still breathing. Good, she wasn't dead, that's good.

He glanced at her leg and quickly touched it, confirming the bone was broken.

He sighed. It was lucky she hadn't died from such a high fall. After all, how many people were as freakish as him? He picked up Zhu Zhu's leg and whispered, "Hold on, I'll set it back in place for you. If it's left too long, it won't be able to be reattached."

Setting bones was something everyone at the martial arts hall knew, especially Er Gou. His bones were often dislocated or broken, and he would set them himself in a pinch.

So, for him, these things were a piece of cake.

Without hesitation, he used both hands simultaneously, and with a soft crack, the broken bone returned to its original position.

"Ah..."

Zhu Zhu woke up from the intense pain, abruptly sitting up. She looked at Er Gou with a face full of pain and resentment in her eyes, saying, "You lecherous thief, you..."

Before she could finish, perhaps due to the pain, she fainted again.

Er Gou was startled. Seeing Zhu Zhu falling backward, he quickly reached out to support her head, letting her lie down slowly to prevent her from hitting the stones and accidentally killing herself in front of him.

Without thinking too much, he tore a strip from her skirt and used it to secure her injured leg. After finishing all this, fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, and his palms trembled slightly.

This was his first intimate contact with a girl's skin, and he was extremely excited (shy).

After treating Zhu Zhu's injury, he looked around, wondering how to leave this place. Looking around, he suddenly noticed a not-so-small hole in the corner of the cave wall. At least one person could pass through it by bending over.

The cave wall was extremely smooth, making it impossible to climb up, let alone with Zhu Zhu.

So, he decided to focus on that small hole. He reached out to feel it, and a breeze was blowing out of the hole, indicating that it wasn't a dead end.

He turned around and put Zhu Zhu on his back. He tore another piece of cloth from her skirt, tying her securely to his back. This way, he wouldn't be distracted, and she wouldn't fall off. It was a win-win situation. The only downside was that Zhu Zhu's long skirt had become a short skirt.

The skirt had been torn above the knees, revealing two snow-white legs. He wondered if Zhu Zhu would be angry when she woke up.

Now that life and death were at stake, he couldn't be too concerned with such details.

Without much thought, he entered the cave with Zhu Zhu on his back. To his delight, the cave grew larger as he walked. After only a dozen meters, he could stand up straight. However, he didn't know how long this dark tunnel was, but fortunately, it became wider as he progressed.

Before long, the unconscious Zhu Zhu opened her eyes again.

She whispered, "Where is this?"

Li Er Gou naturally replied, "I don't know, but it's a cave."

As soon as he said this, he felt something was wrong. Both sides were silent, as if completing a prelude before some kind of anger erupted.

"You lecherous thief, it's you! What are you doing? Let me go!" Zhu Zhu was extremely angry. She felt a sharp pain in her leg and felt something cold on it. She reached out to touch it and found that her skirt was much shorter. This made her even more frantic, not knowing what this lecherous thief had done to her.

A deep sense of fear and anger washed over her.

Li Er Gou, afraid of being misunderstood, quickly said, "My good grandma, can you not be like this? Look how hard it is to carry you on my back. Your leg is broken. If I don't care for you, you'll die."

"I don't care, let me go, let me go?"

She reached out and slapped Li Er Gou randomly.

Li Er Gou was also angry, feeling that this woman was simply being unreasonable and illogical. With a ruthless heart, he directly untied the rope on his body, and Zhu Zhu instantly fell to the ground.

He heard her scream, which must have touched her wound.

Li Er Gou ignored her and strode forward, thinking angrily, "Humph, it's all your own fault. Your death has nothing to do with me."

Zhu Zhu looked at the dark surroundings, and the sharp pain in her leg struck her. She felt aggrieved and angry. She had only sneaked out to take a bath, so why did things turn out like this? Not only was she peeped at, but now she might die in this darkness.

This heartless lecherous thief, everything, everything was caused by him. She had never done anything harmful, so why was God punishing her like this?

The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt, and she couldn't help but cry.

Li Er Gou, who had walked dozens of meters away, stopped when he heard the crying. Perhaps his young heart was too soft, or perhaps Li Er Gou was too kind. Hearing the crying, he sighed and said, "Forget it, I'll just take it as I owe you in my previous life."

He turned around and walked back to Zhu Zhu, saying with a helpless expression, "Stop crying, let's go."

Zhu Zhu was slightly stunned, somewhat surprised that he would come back. She still wanted to be angry, but on second thought, if she really provoked him at this moment, and he really didn't care about her, she would definitely die in this darkness. The thought of her body being unseen in the darkness made her shudder.

With this in mind, she could only swallow her anger and thought, 'A gentleman takes revenge, ten years is not too late. Lecherous thief, I'll just compromise for now, and I'll settle the score with you after I get out.'

She snorted and said, "It's good that you have a conscience."

Li Er Gou was prepared to be scolded, but he didn't expect her not to be abusive, which made him feel much better. He strode to Zhu Zhu and squatted down.

Zhu Zhu asked suspiciously, "What are you doing?"

If I don't carry you, can you still walk?
