My Beauty Variety: Starting from Banshee Town
Chapter 125 Conflict Renewed
After watching them leave, Ethan shrugged his shoulders and returned to his seat.
As soon as I picked up the coffee and took a sip, I saw a young man wearing a denim jacket standing up from the waiting area next to him.
"Are you here to provide clues?"
He put down his cup and greeted.
"No, I'm looking for Sheriff Hood."
This young man looked about the same age as himself. He smiled slightly at Ethan, and then called out to Hood.
Not long after the two entered the office, Ethan saw Hood closing the shutters of the Sheriff's Office with a nervous look in his eyes.
He lit up the cigarette doubtfully, and after thinking for a moment, he felt that the man just now seemed familiar.
Not long after, Hood walked out of the Sheriff's Office with the man, and he winked at Ethan.
Ethan stood up and followed him out of the police station.
"Is he your friend?"
Ethan glanced at the blond man sitting in the car who was looking at them and asked curiously.
"He's Lucas Hood's son."
Hood rubbed his temples and said with a headache.
The words were convoluted, but Ethan immediately understood what he meant and why he looked familiar to this person just now.
This was the son of the deceased Lucas Hood. In my impression, it seemed that he was the one who caused trouble. Just like his predecessor, he ran to his father who was the police chief for help.
The only difference is that the predecessor can still find his father, while Lucas Hood's son can only find a stranger who lives under the identity of his father.
It’s just that Ethan forgot what trouble Lucas Hood’s son had fled to Banshee Town, and quickly asked:
"What does he want to do?"
Hood shook his head, "It's not clear yet. I'll take him to Candy's bar for dinner first."
"Then what do you want to do?" Ethan asked.
"Let's see what he has to say first. I'm just telling you that if there's any trouble, you can help me cover."
Watching Hood worriedly and driving away in his blue pickup truck, Ethan shook his head and returned to the police station.
After Proctor and Rebecca came out of the police station, they went home and waited for a long time, but there was no good news from their men.
Seeing his confused niece, he drove directly to the Amish gathering place, hoping to find some clues.
The Rolls-Royce came to the Bowman house. Rebecca saw a familiar figure and opened the door before the car stopped.
Proctor waited for Borden to park the car, then pursed his lips and stepped out of the car.
Rebecca shouted a few times, and when she saw that her mother ignored her at all, she looked to the side helplessly.
She noticed an Amish girl appearing in the distance, hurriedly passing by carrying a bamboo basket. It was Pesha, her former good friend, and she quickly chased after her.
After Proctor waited for Rebecca to leave, he looked at the gray-haired woman with her back to him and said in a deep voice:
"You knew that Rebecca would be deported and would end up living on the street, but you left it alone because you knew I would help, right?"
"Then I took her in, provided her with food, and even bought your daughter a house, but you still didn't want to look at me."
Proctor's sister paused for a moment, then continued to hang the clothes on her hands.
"I am the only one who can help you now." Proctor gritted his teeth and continued:
"You don't treat me as family, but I treat you as my sister. Would you really rather let Solomon live and die outside than talk to me?"
Sister Proctor let go of her hands and her clothes fell to the grass.
She slowly squatted down, covered her face with her hands, and sobbed painfully.
Proctor sighed and took two steps forward.
Just when she was about to touch her sister's shoulder, she stood up sobbing and ran towards the house.
"Shet." Proctor was so angry that he kicked over the laundry tub and clenched his fists angrily, hating why he grew up in such a group.
Panting heavily, he turned around and wanted to go back to the car to wait for Rebecca, but he saw the Amish people working on the farm on the other side running back.
Behind the hurriedly escaping Amish, several pickup trucks drove them away with constant accelerators, and the aborigines holding sticks on the back trucks made strange screams.
The Amish do not believe in violence, so the more than twenty men working on the farm retreated to Bowman's house and stood together.
Hearing the noise outside, Bowman and Proctor's father also ran out of the room and looked at the people opposite in panic.
"Hand over that boy, you damn Krauts."
"Come here if you want, you cowards."
"Hand over the murderer."
The aborigines armed with sticks jumped out of the pickup trucks, banged the instruments in their hands, and kept shouting.
Proctor had nowhere to vent his resentment. He unbuttoned his suit jacket and strode over.
"Kai, no, we have already called the police."
Only then did Bowman notice Proctor. He ignored the prohibition and shouted anxiously.
Proctor turned around and found Bowman and his father looking at him worriedly. He opened his arms and said calmly:
“The peacemakers are protected by the Lord, and they will be called children of God.”
"Since the Lord has not appeared yet, let me come."
He turned around and strode towards the aborigines under the mixed looks of the tribesmen.
"Yes, let's compete, raised by Bichi."
Seeing a person coming from the opposite side, the aborigines started shouting.
Proctor walked up to the aborigines without fear and looked around with cold eyes.
"Shet, it's Proctor."
Some of them recognized the person and whispered with fear.
Another person said fiercely: "What are you afraid of? He is the only one who can eat us."
Proctor spat aside and said with contempt:
“You guys have the guts to come over and threaten someone who you know won’t fight back, and I’m proud of you.
Boden, who was sitting in the Rolls-Royce, also took off his glasses with a sneer at this time, put the finger tiger in his pocket on his hand, and walked quickly towards this side.
"Fakeyo, Proctor, you are alone now. I am going to stuff this baseball bat into your eyelid. I think you will enjoy this feeling."
One of the men wearing a peaked cap took a few steps forward, thrust his baseball bat in front of Proctor, and threatened him sternly.
Proctor nodded calmly, "I understand, that feeling will definitely not be pleasant."
As soon as he finished speaking, he snatched the baseball bat from Cap's hand and stabbed him in the stomach as fast as lightning.
"ah"
The peaked cap was suddenly hit hard and screamed.
Proctor didn't stop and swung the baseball bat in his hand.
There was a muffled "bang" sound, and the stick hit the lower body of the peaked cap steadily.
