My Beauty Variety: Starting from Banshee Town
Chapter 206 C4
In the morning, Ethan parked his car outside the police station.
He whistled and walked towards Miles' restaurant, the morning air was particularly refreshing.
Pushing open the glass door, the restaurant is always busy in the early morning, almost full of people having breakfast.
Sitting down somewhere, he took out his mobile phone and read the news.
"What do you want?"
"Fry me some pancakes, thank you."
Ethan put down his phone and was stunned when he looked up: "Carly?"
This Carly is not the Carly she met when she and Dalia went camping, but Hood's old lover.
She was wearing a waitress uniform from Miles Restaurant and stood in front of Ethan with a tired look on her face.
Carly shrugged: "Long time no see, Ethan."
"It's been a long time indeed. When did you come here to work?"
This is the first time Ethan has seen Carly since she went to jail.
"This is my first day." Carly poked the small notebook with a pen: "Do you need anything else?"
"Just fry the pancakes, thank you."
Seeing her turning away, Ethan curled his lips and picked up the phone again.
This is also a restless master, so he might be able to work as a waiter at Miles Restaurant as a stop-gap solution.
After breakfast, go back to the police station.
I haven’t seen him for a few days, and it’s still the same. There is no change in the small town police station.
On the other hand, Brock stared at the dark circles under his eyes and marveled. After all, ever since Ethan arrived at the Banshee Town Police Station, he had never seen him look so exhausted.
Ethan gave him the middle finger as usual, and then put the sunglasses he snatched from Jabber on his face.
After arriving at the Sheriff's Office, Ethan closed the door and put the small box in his hand on Hood's desk: "Jab asked me to bring this to you. He said it would be safer to leave it here."
"Thank God, it's finally here."
Hood put down the coffee, quickly stood up and opened the box.
Ethan also looked over curiously. Jabber looked mysterious and told him not to open it because he didn't know what was inside.
Inside the box, there were four palm-sized pieces that looked like plasticine.
Hood picked up one of the pieces of plasticine with a smile, weighed it in his hand, and threw it to Ethan.
He took it in his hand and squeezed it. It felt almost like plasticine:
"What is this?"
Hu De glanced outside and said casually:
"C4."
Ethan's hand holding the plasticine froze, and his neck was raised stiffly, "Is it the C4 I understand?"
"That's right."
"Shet."
Ethan's palm shook, and the piece of plasticine he was holding almost fell, and he caught it in a hurry.
Jiabo, this bastard, actually let himself bring a box of explosives home and brought it to the police station without telling him what it was and not fearing that the police station would be blown up.
Hood shook his head: "Relax, this is C4."
"Yes, you are right." Ethan cursed in a low voice: "This is explosive, how can you tell me to relax."
Seeing his cautious look, Hood reached out and grabbed the C4 in his hand, throwing it into the box. When the plasticine fell, Ethan resisted the urge to run away.
Hood said with a smile: "C4 is different from ordinary explosives. If you don't use a detonator to detonate it, you can just burn it."
Seeing Hood closing the small box and stuffing it into the desk drawer with a nonchalant look, Ethan believed what he said.
Ethan wiped away his sweat: "Why did Jabber bring these ghosts to Banshee Town?"
"I asked him to bring it." Hood said with a smile on his face:
"It's almost time now. It's time to find something for Proctor to do."
Ethan scratched his head: "You mean the red brick factory?"
"That's right."
Hood crossed his legs and said, "We have almost figured out the pattern of their shipments. If we wait two days, I will send his lair to heaven."
"Okay, we'll talk about it then." Ethan waved his hand: "I'm going on patrol."
In the afternoon, while he was driving around, the wireless line rang: "Can anyone help me, I'm in the Havershaw area."
Brock's angry voice came from inside, accompanied by the sound of police lights blaring.
The Havershaw area is the suburbs of the town, where there are mostly flat farms and straight country roads, and Proctor's den is over there.
Ethan was nearby. He turned the steering wheel and the car roared forward.
"I'm here, what's my goal?"
Brock was furious: "A yellow off-road motorcycle. The rider was wearing a motorcycle suit and a helmet. He had no physical characteristics and was suspected of high-speed and dangerous driving."
Ethan drove quickly along the country road, his eyes scanning every direction.
"Yellow off-road motorcycle?" Emmett's voice also came out: "Is that bastard provoking you?"
"How do you know?" Brock replied.
"I also met that bastard two days ago. I'm coming here now." Emmett spoke with a rare anger.
"What did he do?"
Ethan grabbed the radio. There were not many things that could make Emmett, an honest man, angry.
"You'll find out later."
Brock replied, with a hint of smile in his voice.
"I saw him."
Ethan's eyes were sharp and he noticed a yellow off-road motorcycle coming quickly from the opposite lane.
The motorcyclist shook his helmet provocatively at him, and Ethan radioed his location and pressed the button for the siren and lights.
With the cooperation of his hands and feet, Crown Victoria's body swung rapidly.
After a violent shaking, the police car quickly turned around and chased forward.
After chasing for a few minutes, when they came to a fork in the road, the motorcyclist slowed down and pulled over.
"We've caught him, it's easy."
Ethan picked up the radio and said something, parked the police car behind the motorcycle, held Glock and pushed the door open.
"Sir, please turn off the engine and get out of the car..."
Before he finished speaking, the motorcyclist turned the accelerator crazily. The car body swayed, and several streams of smoke were ejected from the exhaust pipe, heading towards the side road.
"Shet."
Ethan finally understood why Emmett was so excited. He quickly sat back in the car and chased forward with gritted teeth.
There are some people who enjoy teasing law enforcement officers, and now he, like Brock and Emmett, has become the target of teasing.
"How's it going?" came Brock's gloating voice.
Ethan picked up the radio and replied, "Fuck, that's a bastard."
There was a burst of joyful laughter in the channel, and Siobhan also joined in: "Guys, do you need my help?"
"No, it can be done."
Ethan put down the radio and grabbed the steering wheel with both hands, getting closer and closer to the driver in front of him.
It’s just that the driver knew very well what they could and couldn’t do, and he even looked back at Ethan.
"Shet."
Ethan cursed secretly, wishing he could push the accelerator to hit him.
However, it is strictly prohibited to hit a motorcycle during a high-speed stop, so he could only follow the motorcyclist in front of him.
Thanks for the tip, I have a bottle of 1986 Lafite. Thank you.
