My Beauty Variety: Starting from Banshee Town
Chapter 263 The debt is cleared after death
Hood thought of the big boy with yellow hair and the police sergeant who stepped forward but died unexpectedly.
He shook his head slowly: "I don't know what you are talking about. I have never heard of this name."
A smile appeared on Brantley's lips and he waved his hand.
The bearded man in a vest walked aside and took out a small suitcase from the cabinet.
The man in the black suit brought a small bucket over and took out a wet towel that was still dripping.
"Paji."
The wet towel was attached to Hood's body, soaking his T-shirt.
Seeing the action of the black suit, Ethan had a bad feeling. He forced a smile and said to Hood:
"Sheriff, this doesn't look right."
"Asshole, you don't have to say this."
Hood's feet trembled when he saw the bearded man open the suitcase and take out a glove with a metal plate on it.
The bearded man put on his gloves with a grin and pressed the switches one by one.
The small lights turn green, indicating that it is powered on.
Ethan quickly glanced around. There was a monitor installed on the wall. The split screen on it showed the situation around the truck. They were driving on a remote road.
Now was not the time, he suppressed the urge to move.
Hood's chest rose and fell violently, and he gritted his teeth as he looked at the bearded man walking towards him.
"Bang."
The electric shock glove hit Hood's chest hard, and the severe pain seemed to penetrate into his heart along with the electric current.
"ah!"
Hood couldn't help roaring, his face covered with sweat.
The bearded man punched him one after another in excitement. Hood's eyes were red and his body was twitching uncontrollably.
Ethan looked at Brantley and said angrily: "Do you want to ask him questions, or do you want to kill him."
After the bearded man punched him again, Brantley stretched out his hand to signal him to stop:
"Do you remember the name Jason Hood now?"
Hood gasped for air and nodded quickly.
Drool was dripping from the corners of his mouth, and now he couldn't speak at all.
Brantley frowned, took out his pocket watch and took a look:
"Wanda, tell Mr. Colin to pull over."
The old woman hurriedly walked out through a wooden door behind Ethan. After a while, Ethan felt the truck stop slowly.
Brantley held his cane with both hands and looked to the side:
"Special Agent Phillips from the FBI, I am very sorry that our short journey has to come to an end. My friends will take you to your next destination."
Phillips asked with a forced smile: "Where is that?"
"I'll leave it to you to find out by yourself. It's a surprise." Brantley smiled back at him.
The wooden door behind Ethan opened immediately, and two more people in black suits appeared. One of them was holding a shovel, and the other was holding a pistol.
The moment he saw the shovel, Phillips turned blue.
Who would have thought that he would come to Banshee Town with great interest early in the morning to look for the legendary anonymous jewel thief, but he would end up swinging a shovel for himself.
He forced a laugh again and looked at Brantley pleadingly:
"I think it's not necessary, right?"
Brantley took out an FBI badge from the small box next to him, played with it disdainfully and then threw it back: "I think it's still necessary."
The man carrying the shovel took out a butterfly knife from his pocket.
After waving his hand gracefully a few times, he easily picked off the tie on Phillips.
Phillips had his chin picked up by the butterfly knife and had to stand up obediently.
When he walked out, he looked at Hood and Ethan desperately. The meaning was obvious, brothers, I'm leaving first, you guys should follow quickly.
The wooden door closed and the car became quiet again.
Ethan looked up at the monitor above. Phillips was soon forced by two people to jump out of the back of the car and dive into the woods on the side of the road.
After some tossing, Hood has regained his composure.
Brantley stood up with his cane: "Now, please tell me, where is Jason Hood?"
"He's dead, I swear to God."
"I don't believe in God, I only believe in myself."
Brantley lifted Hood's chin with his cane: "Why should I believe what you say."
Hood felt that the cane would be thrust into his throat at the next moment. He said excitedly: "Fake, because I killed him, are you satisfied?"
"30 seconds."
Brantley took out his pocket watch: "I'll give you 30 seconds to convince me. If I don't believe a word, I will continue to shock you."
"Jason came to me and said someone was after him."
Hood trembled when he heard the word "electric shock": "He provided a condition. In exchange, I will kill the people who came to chase him."
"He will give me twenty-five thousand beforehand, and another twenty-five thousand after it is over, for a total of fifty thousand."
Brantley narrowed his eyes and said in a deep voice:
"You killed Quentin."
"Yes, it took some effort, but I still killed him."
Hood tried not to look at Ethan. He was the one who had to take the blame for the person that bastard killed.
His head was spinning rapidly, frantically making up lies, trying to make things sound reasonable.
Hood gasped again and said:
"You know, business is business, I just get paid to work."
"But after I killed Quentin and another person, Jason regretted it and was unwilling to give the remaining money."
"He even threatened me to expose my identity. I had no choice but to kill him."
Brantley lay down and covered his pocket watch:
"So, you killed him because of money."
Hood had thoroughly figured out Brantley. He had seen many such people in prison, so he said firmly:
"You have to get paid if you do something. This is the rule. Jason broke the rule."
Sure enough, this sentence won Brantley's heart, and he nodded with satisfaction: "I accept your explanation, and that's my money."
Hood said quickly: "Of course, that's your money, Mr. Brantley, a total of sixty-two thousand, a penny is a lot."
"Okay, so where's my money?"
"Banshee Town, take me back and I will return all the money to you."
Brantley stretched out his hand, and the black suit handed over a red ledger.
The opened account book is filled with densely packed names, most of which have been marked with black lines.
He took the pen and found the column for Jason Hood.
Sixty-two thousand US dollars was clearly written on it. He crossed out the account carefully with the pen in his hand.
At the top of the page, Ethan Morgan's name is clearly written.
His column only had a simple name.
It was this simple name that cost Brantley several months of work. Unexpectedly, he could clear two accounts today.
He glanced at Ethan, continued to draw a line through his name, and then closed the ledger with satisfaction.
"Mr. Brantley, you won't kill me after I return the money to you, will you?"
Hood tried to delay for more time. Although he didn't know what the use was, it was better than nothing.
Thanks to the judge of hell brother for the reward, thank you. In addition, I'd better restore the small chapters. Some people like to jump in and subscribe, and everyone doesn't seem so tired of the small chapters.
