"You don't have to tell me this." Ethan looked at Siobhan and continued:

"You should know this Lady Isabella, right?"

Siobhan nodded, "She is my high school teacher. After my parents died in a car accident, she has always taken good care of me. After school, she often calls me home to help with my homework and cooks dinner for me."

"She was the one who accompanied me through that dark time. If it weren't for her, I don't know what I would be like now."

"Katie's parents died in a traffic accident two years ago. Now Ms. Isabella lives alone with Katie."

Ethan listened to Siobhan's story and looked back at the house behind him.

"She's a good person."

"That's what Mrs. Isabella called me just now. Fortunately, Katie only had a little scratch."

Siobhan smiled bitterly, "I don't know what's going on. Good people will always go through hardships, so I didn't let you call the fire rescue just now. For them now, this is a huge expense."

Ethan nodded, "You did the right thing."

"Stop talking about this, let's go on patrol."

"By the way, in order to thank you for your help just now, I now officially invite you to be a guest at my house tonight." Siobhan shook his braid and showed his usual smile.

"No problem, can I order?" Ethan's eyes lit up.

"You can eat whatever I do. If you don't want to, you can order food at Miles Restaurant." Siobhan rolled his eyes at him.

Who wants to eat fast food every day when there is home-cooked food to eat? Ethan nodded decisively.

After the two smoked for a while, Ethan deliberately slowed down. After Siobhan got in the car and left, he crushed the cigarette butt and stood up.

He opened the car door and found a piece of scrap paper from the storage compartment.

Ethan hesitated for a moment, then took out a thousand dollars from the space and wrapped it in waste paper.

There was no one around, so he walked to Ms. Isabella's mailbox, stuffed the money in, and returned to the car to continue patrolling for the day.

In the evening, after get off work.

Ethan returned home and cleaned up, then looked at the time and saw that it was almost time. After taking a shower, he drove towards Siobhan's house.

After knocking on the door a few times, footsteps soon sounded.

"welcome."

Siobhan opened the door with a smile. She was dressed like a housewife, wearing a light blue apron and an insulating glove in her hand.

He was used to seeing her in uniform, but this family outfit actually made Ethan happy.

Siobhan knew what he was thinking and made a biting motion with her heat mitt.

"Shut up and don't say weird things."

"Okay, you have the final say when it comes to cooking tonight." Ethan shrugged.

People who spend time together every day will not use those vain politenesses. Ethan shook the two bottles of red wine in his hands and followed Siobhan in.

Ethan took the holster off his belt and put it on the living room cabinet with the wine.

After sniffing twice, he sniffed the scent and walked into the kitchen.

"I wonder what delicious food the chef made tonight?"

"Don't come in. The kitchen is an important place and no one should enter." Siobhan pushed him out of the kitchen.

Ethan had no choice but to go to the refrigerator and get a bottle of beer, go to the living room, lie down on the sofa and turn on the TV.

After changing several channels, he stopped at CBS.

On the TV, a thin man with curly hair grabbed a horizontal beam in a monkey-like posture and quickly slid down from the high platform along the rope. After he fell into the blue water, he quickly swam forward. That speed put Ethan to shame.

The scene changed again, and a blonde beauty with fair skin wearing a light blue swimsuit also jumped from the high platform into the water.

Ethan became interested instantly, threw the remote control aside, lit a cigarette, picked up the beer and drank it.

Half an hour later, Siobhan's voice sounded.

"Dinner is ready."

She turned on the oven and took out the last tray and brought it to the table.

Ethan stood up quickly, picked up the red wine on the cabinet, opened it, took two glasses and walked over.

The dining table is covered with floral cloth, with a plate of lasagna Bolognese and a tray full of grilled chicken wings freshly taken out of the oven. Next to it is a large glass bowl filled with fruit and vegetable salad.

The golden chicken wings were still steaming, and Ethan automatically sat down in his seat without Siobhan's greeting.

As soon as she sat down, Siobhan stretched out her hand, and Ethan had no choice but to grab her hand.

After she closed her eyes and finished saying the prayer, Ethan picked up the red wine and poured it on.

"Thank you for your warm hospitality."

"You're welcome, let's do it."

After the wine glass made a crisp sound, Siobhan stood up, scratched the lasagna a few times with a knife, and then served a large plate to Ethan.

Layers of brushed cheese and thick meat sauce are wrapped on lasagna, and the aroma hits your nose.

After Ethan took a sip of red wine, he started to enjoy it.

Seeing his appetite, Siobhan smiled with satisfaction, and then put some golden grilled chicken wings on Ethan's plate.

"I can just do it myself. Don't worry, I won't be polite."

"It's okay. I just put a little honey on it. It's not too sweet. You can taste it."

Siobhan said quickly, knowing that he didn't eat sweets much.

"Yeah, it tastes very good."

Ethan picked up the grilled chicken wings and put them in his mouth. The skin was crispy and had a hint of honey sweetness.

After the two had dinner, they returned to the living room.

The program just now was still playing on the TV, and Ethan sat on the sofa, stroking his full belly.

"This is Survivor, season 13."

Siobhan, who likes to stay at home and watch TV after get off work, recognized what Ethan was watching at a glance, and the old man said calmly.

Ethan poured the red wine and said, “Have you seen it?”

Siobhan nodded, "This season is very exciting, very exciting."

Then she said with another evil smile: "You want to know who won the championship and got a million dollars?"

"No telling, no spoilers."

Seeing that she was about to blurt out something, Ethan quickly rushed over and covered her mouth.

Siobhan grabbed his hand, with a smirk in his eyes, struggling to say the champion's name.

Ethan didn't tolerate her, so he pushed her down on the sofa and kept tickling her waist with his fingers.

"Okay, I won't say anything, just stop."

Siobhan let out a series of laughs, begged for mercy loudly, and kept swaying, trying to get away from the tickling of Ethan's fingers.

Just when Ethan smiled and wanted to continue scratching, Siobhan suddenly stopped and his whole body froze.

"You hit me."

Siobhan's face turned red, and after biting her lip, she whispered.

"sorry."

After Ethan apologized awkwardly, he quickly tried to stand up on the sofa.

But Siobhan quickly freed up his hands, hugged his neck, and said with a hot breath:

"Did I ask you to apologize?"
