My Black Magic Is Too Good, It Can Be Automatically Whitened

31. The necessity of quality education at Hogwarts (please collect!)

Dunn leaned back in his seat with a lack of interest.

Dumbledore spoke first.

"About Sirius-Black—"

"Professor, Professor Scamander has just talked to me about this, unless you're going to overturn his conclusion."

Dunn interrupted politely.

He made up his mind not to admit it, and neither could Dumbledore.

"Okay, actually I want to say that in addition to the stun spell and the oblivion spell, you also used two other brand-new spells on Sirius-Black, I'm sure I haven't seen these two kinds of spells before, you created them yourself of?"

Dunn naturally denied it.

After all, the inventor of the two incantations, Fuchsia and Lockton, hadn't even been born yet.

Such an answer obviously couldn't cope with Dumbledore.

No, Dunn just kept lying.

"These two spells were taught to me by my father during his lifetime."

Everything is pushed to the Corleone family, and there is no way to verify it.

Dumbledore knew that, but something had to be made clear to Dunn.

"Before the train set off, the Black family took Sirius away."

"The oblivion spell you cast is very powerful, at least I don't think the Black family can find any evidence against you."

"But Sirius's tongue is still stuck to the roof of his mouth, and he can't speak normally. If he misses the sorting ceremony because of this, the Black family may really be angry."

"The current Corleone family definitely doesn't want one more enemy, does it?"

Dumbledore hoped that Dunn could tell the Black family the release of the curse to prevent the conflict from escalating.

But Dunn could hear another meaning from Dumbledore's words - the Corleone family's biggest enemy was Greenwald, and the Black family was still an object that could be drawn into an alliance.

"It seems that the war that just broke out in the Muggle world is really related to the Dark Lord."

Dumbledore looked at Dunn in surprise.

"Why do you think so?"

Dunn looked at Dumbledore very seriously.

"Because the professor is the best answer."

Dumbledore frowned.

"I?"

"If I'm right, Professor, you didn't leave before to catch up with the two freshmen who were sailing to North America, but instead went to the European continent, maybe to meet your old friend the Dark Lord."

Dumbledore looked interested, looking at Dunn curiously.

"A lot of people think I'm deliberately condoning Gellert by avoiding a fight. Why do you think I'll stop him?"

Dunn replied with a smile.

"Because you didn't stop him in the first place, you just wanted to persuade him to give up, but unfortunately it didn't work."

Dumbledore grew more curious now.

Dunn's ability to guess where he's going is amazing, even what he's doing.

Dumbledore was clever enough not to ask how Dunn had guessed, but to tell Dunn "flattered" news.

"I told Gellert what you said to me the other day. He was shocked, but he still refused to stop."

"It's normal. How can someone like the Dark Lord admit that he is wrong if he doesn't fail once? Just like you, you know you can't stop it, but you still go."

"I tried my best."

Dumbledore spread his hands.

At this moment, the expression on his face was exhausted.

Dunn pressed on immediately.

"And then? Professor, you must have already planned the next step, right?"

At this point, Dumbledore had nothing to hide.

He confessed to Dunn that for some special reason, he couldn't shoot Greenwald right now.

He couldn't do anything but go back to teach at Hogwarts.

Whether Dumbledore was genuine or acting, Dunn was determined to stop this from happening.

He was still developing, and he didn't want to face the threat of the Dark Lord so soon.

"Professor, who says you can't continue fighting the Dark Lord when you go back to Hogwarts?"

"Although the Dark Lord has successfully provoked a war in the Muggle world, this war is not about speed, but endurance!"

"If there is one place where the fire against the Dark Lord remains, it must be Hogwarts. As long as Hogwarts is not breached, the Dark Lord's ambitions cannot be fully realized."

"Professor, all you need to do is guard this fire and let it grow."

"A single spark can start a prairie fire!"

Dumbledore looked at Dunn curiously, with more eagerness in his eyes.

The boy in front of him can really surprise him every time.

Unexpectedly, Dunn immediately changed his tone.

"Of course this is the most optimistic estimate. At least the current Hogwarts cannot shoulder this important task."

"Hogwarts now simply teaches magical knowledge to students, regardless of what students can do with that knowledge."

"Wizards who came out of Hogwarts like this can't really fight against the Dark Lord."

"Faced with the unprecedented war crisis in the wizarding world, OWLs and NEWTs alone are far from enough. The real quality education should be a three-year exam and five-year simulation. If you fail the exam, you will retake it, and if you fail to retake it, you will be fired!"

"Hogwarts can't determine the upper limit of a wizard, but it can determine the lower limit of a wizard."

"Mediocrity itself is not wrong, it is the mediocrity born in the war years that is the biggest mistake."

"It's better to be tough in school than to be useless after graduation."

Dumbledore listened silently, and a word came out of his mouth.

"All for the greater good?"

Dunn froze for a moment, then nodded firmly.

"Yes, all for the greater good!"*
