My Doomsday Battleship RV

#65 - Chapter 65: The Pseudo-Zombie Being Hammered

Coming to the vicinity of the Central Building again, Liu Xi was clearly much more confident than last time. Having learned some secrets about these zombies, Liu Xi decided not to give them any chance.

Arriving at the resting spot he had prepared beforehand, Liu Xi rested for a while and ate some dry food. Feeling that he had recovered his strength, Liu Xi reorganized his things; which was basically just putting everything into his personal space.

After making sure nothing was left behind, Liu Xi picked up his small dagger and began to sneak towards the nearest level-five zombie. The same operation, the same outcome, with almost no difference. A dozen minutes later, another level-five zombie corpse lay before Liu Xi.

By this time, Liu Xi was familiar with the whole process and seemed to have divine assistance. The battles that initially took him twelve minutes to resolve now took only about seven or eight minutes.

However, due to the large number of zombies, although it didn't take much effort, Liu Xi still had to stop and rest every time he eliminated fifty or sixty zombies. Keeping up with his stamina was the situation Liu Xi needed to face now.

Seeing that he had already eliminated seventy or eighty zombies, and the other zombies still had no reaction, Liu Xi overestimated their abilities.

What Liu Xi didn't know was that these zombies usually didn't have any independent consciousness. Their actions were entirely dependent on the command of others. Also, Liu Xi had just stumbled upon a lucky break. If it hadn't been for the humanoid tiger guy beating up his subordinate, who was in charge of controlling and commanding the zombies below, Liu Xi would definitely not have been able to break in so easily and eliminate so many zombies without being discovered.

Because the two individuals with the authority and ability to command these high-level zombies had not given any instructions, these high-level zombies were not moving; they were just staying in their positions. Unless someone actively attacked them, these zombies would not leave their positions. This was why Liu Xi had come after so long, and these zombies were still in the same place.

The humanoid tiger, still in a daze, didn't know that due to his mistake, his subordinate, who was in charge of controlling the group of zombies below, was now hiding in his room healing and had completely forgotten that the last order he gave to the zombies guarding him was for the other zombies to stand by. Furthermore, he had forgotten that these zombies were just mindless corpses that would not act on their own. In this state, the zombies were simply targets for slaughter.

Meanwhile, the humanoid tiger boss was still happily dreaming his dreams and hadn't noticed that the red dots on his computer screen were disappearing one by one, signifying that the zombies he had painstakingly created were being slaughtered.

And he was still dreaming of creating level-six zombies and dominating the city!

But Liu Xi was the happiest, watching the points on the panel constantly increase. Moreover, Liu Xi also discovered that the strength of these zombies was fake, but their cores were indeed counted as real in his system. In other words, killing a fake level-four zombie gave him a genuine level-four core.

That's why Liu Xi was so motivated; otherwise, he might have gone to rest by now, considering it was already six or seven o'clock. Also, Liu Xi had noticed some unusual aspects of the situation. According to Liu Xi's estimate, he would have been discovered after killing at most one-third of the zombies. But the current situation didn't seem to be what he had expected.

According to his plan, he would be discovered after killing one-third of the level-four and level-five zombies. At that time, he could take the opportunity to hide in the Central Building, then have Xu Xiaofei and the others drive the RV over, pretending to be fighting the zombies outside, while he would take the opportunity to run into the building to find his target.

But it seemed that his plan wasn't going as expected; something seemed to have gone wrong. However, for Liu Xi, it didn't have much of an impact. Knowing his current situation, Liu Xi didn't hesitate and decided to continue killing zombies for now, but he would have Xu Xiaofei and the others stay on the periphery and wait for his signal to come in.

After resting briefly, Liu Xi felt that he could seize the current opportunity to harvest a wave, so he actively accelerated his plan of action.

While Liu Xi was acting quickly on one side, the humanoid tiger zombie, who was still dreaming on the other side, was finally about to wake up.

"Hmph, when I create level-six zombies, I'll take your life!"

At this moment, he was still thinking about taking Liu Xi's life, occasionally muttering to himself.

But the next moment, he was dumbfounded, his eyes widening as he stared intently at the red dots on his screen. At that moment, he seemed to be under some curse, motionless. It took a long while before he reacted.

He roared angrily, "Who is it?"
