Chapter 594 Chinese variety shows still need to learn

Nowadays, the Korean outdoor variety shows introduced to the Chinese market, er... should be said to be those programs that have purchased the copyright, will have Korean directors come over to provide direct on-site guidance during the early shooting. Therefore, the outdoor shooting methods of "Running Man" and "Extreme" absorbed Korean shooting techniques. Each performer is accompanied by an accompanying VJ and accompanying writer.

In terms of outdoor shooting, I have to say that the photography team in South Korea already has very rich experience. The copyright purchase this time is also to learn from their advanced experience in outdoor areas. Otherwise, if you get the copyright and directly ask Chinese photographers to take pictures, most of the things you take will be useless. Especially "Extreme" and "Running Man" both involve pursuit. If the photographer does not have good physical strength, he will be left behind in minutes.

In "RM", didn't VJ Kwon Yeol have trouble running for a long time, leading to losing track? At this time, other VJs need to keep up.

As for the variety show "Reporting to the Coach" this time, it was produced by China itself. It is also the first time that I have tried to shoot a variety show out of the studio. This can be said to be a bold attempt. Although you may be lacking in experience, it is good to dare to explore and try. Zhang Pingan shared some of the shooting experiences he learned in Korea.

After he pointed out that there were few accompanying photographers at the scene, the director immediately pointed out the fixed camera positions at the scene.

This made Zhang Ping'an laugh: "Most of the time, the fixed camera positions at the scene are used to shoot panoramic shots, while the accompanying VJ shoots everyone's state. For example... look, the photographer over there is catching the members. When chatting for a close-up, the camera keeps moving during editing, and there will be obvious camera shake. If each member had a cameraman, the camera would be all over the place during editing. It’s fixed and there won’t be that obvious shaking. I also know that the venue is limited, but I think the camera operators only need to set up cameras on the left and right sides. One person is responsible for the three guests, and the lens is pulled. Just put all three of the far ones in, and then zoom in when they start talking. Not every shot needs to be zoomed in for a close-up.”

There is something wrong with the camera position of this show, probably due to the restrictions on site. Because this group of people were filming while standing on the water bank, which was not very spacious, before going into the water, but Zhang Pingan didn't know how the director arranged their positions. The performers all faced the swimming pool, which made the originally not spacious place even smaller.

If we had them all face the aisle, it would be much easier to shoot. But Zhang Pingan feels that the arrangement of the program is probably for safety reasons, right? After all, if the person standing by the pool falls...it's rare for the program crew to argue with celebrities and managers. You must know that artists are very valuable in China. They are not as relaxed as in Japan and South Korea, because the other two countries dare to do anything to amuse the audience, and even if they are punished, the artists are never angry.

Japan’s evil practices, body comedy in Korean comedy shows.

Let’s not talk about Japan’s evil practices. Japanese variety shows can think of any tricks and dare to implement them, and the artists are also willing to accept the teasing on TV shows. Korean body humor is similar to a slap in the face in "Funny Concert". Of course, it's not the kind of angry, hard slap, but a slap with appropriate strength, or a slap on the head, etc., in order to Funny and appropriately sacrificing one's own body. This does not mean that being slapped is equivalent to being insulted or something.

But China is different. Chinese artists are so precious that they are indescribably precious. The spirit of enduring hardship may still be seen in those "actors", but once artists become famous, they become extremely delicate. If he accidentally fell into the swimming pool, he would be angry at least, or stop performing at worst. If the director fails, he will have to pretend to be a grandson and say endless good things.

In China, even tough directors don’t know how to do variety shows. Well, it seems that there is only one variety show in China with a director who is quite tough, that is "Spring Festival Gala", but this show only happens once a year, so on weekdays...

.......

The program director, after listening to Zhang Pingan's suggestion, nodded thoughtfully and said: "For outdoor experience, it seems that we still have to learn from South Korea. After all, they started shooting outdoors many years before us, and this is just a swimming venue. It’s a fixed scene. It would probably be more difficult if it was shot in motion like in “Running Man.”

Zhang Ping'an said his suggestion: "The camera is too heavy to carry. It's okay to carry it when you're not running. But once there is a pursuit scene, it's not so convenient to carry it. So when running, the Korean program team I will use cameras and portable video cameras to shoot. In fact, the image effects produced by the current cameras and portable cameras are quite good. Maybe the brightness of the three different photography equipments is different in the later stage. This only needs to be edited into the film. Just change it when you can.”

The director of the program team nodded and said: "I have watched the Korean version of "Running Man". How many cameras do they use to shoot one episode of the program?"

Zhang Pingan said: "Use cameras? It's really hard to say. It depends on the size of the final shooting venue, right? If the venue is large, there will be a few more fixed cameras. Generally, the staff on site for filming a program is in their forties." By around 60, for large-scale projects, 80 on-site staff will be deployed.”

The director's eyes widened when he heard about the staff used to shoot a large-scale project: "Eighty people? How many people are there in a program team?"

Zhang Ping'an responded: "A program team is based on the "RM" you have watched. Their team only has about ten or so directors. There are three or four directors. The rest are all program writers. One program team writer In the majority, more than a dozen of them hold meetings to discuss location selection, program content, etc. The photographers, sound teams, etc. you see are all produced by outsourced teams. The team is responsible for controlling the flow and filming of the show.”

Hearing what Zhang Pingan said about the outsourcing team, the director was a little surprised: "Can the outsourcing team in South Korea take on such a big show?"

Zhang Ping'an said: "Korea's outsourcing teams are corporate enterprises. Because there are so many TV programs there and they are very concentrated, they develop relatively quickly. Think about it every year when professional colleges graduate 'behind the scenes' There are still a lot of students, but the TV station doesn’t recruit too many editors every year, so most of these behind-the-scenes graduates will choose to join such a production company. As the company grows, they can accept any large-scale TV station’s programs.”

"That's also true~~ There are many film and television photography majors here in China. Most of them are still working as temporary workers in Hengdian or something after graduation."

Yes, there are countless bit actors living in Hengdian, and there are also countless directing graduates seeking a living there. After all, after graduating, new directors can't find a work for you to start with directly. Most of them can only serve as a temporary camera crew in the film and television base. If you have excellent skills and are noticed by a big director, you can go to the studio to do photography, learn and accumulate, and gradually investors will be willing to invest in your filming.

It's not that easy to become a famous director, so more people who have graduated from the 'directing' major are willing to participate in TV station recruitment. Even if they know that after joining, they will receive a dead salary and will never be famous again, but they still have a stable income. .

In China, although choosing a spouse depends on the conditions of the other person's family, if the person has a stable job, such as a civil servant, it is a big plus!

Although those who are slightly attractive want to catch the rich second generation... but there are not so many rich second generations to fish for them. In the end, more people choose those with suitable family conditions and stable jobs.

After a brief chat with the director, he took the process book in his hand and went to discuss it with the actors. At this time, Zhang Pingan made a drinking gesture to Sika, indicating that he was going to buy coffee.

From a distance, Sika smiled and nodded to show that she understood.

After Zhang Pingan and his agent came out of the swimming pool, they opened the map and searched for a nearby Starbucks. It was not far from Starbucks. Zhang Pingan took his agent to Starbucks and sold a dozen cups of coffee, and also bought some Frappuccino and lemon tea, because not everyone in China is accustomed to drinking coffee.

When he and his agent returned to the set with their things, Sika began to rest... It happened that Zhang Pingan, his agent, and Sika were distributing drinks and coffee to everyone. The weather in Yanjing has already reached over 30 degrees in April.

On this day, Zhang Pingan accompanied Sika during the filming of the show like an agent. This made Sika feel very happy during the shooting.

The other artists present also greeted Zhang Pingan in a friendly manner.

Zhang Pingan also met the "Little Cage Girl" from Taiwan in the program group. Zhang Pingan smiled and said to her: "I watched your appearance in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes"..."

She said mockingly: "You want me to look like chicken legs, right?"

"Pfft~~" Zhang Pingan didn't expect her to be so cheerful, and she spoke in the shape of a "drumstick". Zhang Pingan couldn't help but laugh. Zhang Pingan smiled and apologized.

But the 'Little Cage Girl' said generously: "It doesn't matter, I've been laughed at by netizens enough. Now that I think about it... I regret it so much! There was Li Ruotong before me, and Liu Tianxian behind me. I... I really You shouldn’t challenge that ‘fairy’ character.”

I have to say that the 'Little Dragon Girl' played by Li Ruotong and Liu Tianxian really left a deep impression on the audience of "The Legend of the Condor Heroes".

The two of them are really beautiful ‘aunts’. And the head of her character Gugu looks like a chicken leg...
