I was intrigued, eager to know more about the resources the city possessed. I prodded the intelligence variant further, asking him about their reserves. "What kind of resources do they have?" I queried.

"They have a wealth of resources, my lord," he responded. "There is a significant amount of gold and silver to be found within the city. However, it seems that the common people do not possess much of it, as it is mostly found within the palace. The king, I have heard, indulges in the luxury of drinking and eating from gold cups and plates, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most cruel rulers in the land. The people are not loyal to him, but his army is willing to do his bidding without question."

I pondered his words, an idea forming in my mind. "Perhaps we could win the trust of the people by providing them with things that this lunatic king is not giving them," I suggested. "What about the warriors? Would they be willing to join me against their king?"

The intelligence variant shook his head gravely. "I fear not, my lord. They are given extra care and privileges, and this is the reason they will never go against their king. The common people must work hard for their survival, but receive little in return. The warriors, however, are given all the food and resources they need, and are not inclined to risk losing those luxuries by joining a rebellion."

I nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "And what of the other minions that went with you to the city?" I asked, realizing I had not yet inquired about their fate.

"I left them behind, my lord," he replied. "They are now working undercover within the city, and we are able to communicate with each other in close range. They will aid us in the fight, providing valuable information about the city's defenses and strategies."

I was impressed with the intelligence variant's resourcefulness. "You have done well," I praised him. "Tell me, did you encounter any zombies on your journey back from the city? I must know if there is any threat of them on our path."

"No, my lord," he replied. "There were no sightings of zombies on the way."

"Excellent," I said, feeling a sense of relief. "And did you bring a map of the city? I wish to know the best way to attack and plan accordingly. Will my arrows reach the citizens, or will they be protected by the city's defenses?"

"I have brought a map for you, my lord," the intelligence variant said, as he produced a detailed map of the area. The map showed the blueprint of the city, including the location of storage units, barracks, and housing areas. The palace of the king was situated in the center of the city, surrounded by the houses of the royals. The houses of the common people were spread out, covering the outer walls of the city, and extending towards the river in the back. It was clear that this would be no easy conquest, but with careful planning and strategic execution, I was confident that we could emerge victorious."

Now, I understood how I would have to attack, but one cannot make an attack strategy before arriving at the location.

The outer wall of my city was under construction and a lot of work was being done during the night. The new minions were doing their job well and it was completing sooner than I had expected. The moat wall was almost done, because this time, a triple force was working on it. I was happy to see their speed and was hoping that they would complete it before we returned with the new slaves.

Chloe also came while I was talking with the intelligence variant. She asked me what information he had brought this time. I told her the whole situation, and she listened to me very carefully, considering every point. I also told her how we would make the people loyal to us. She agreed with my plan, but for it to be successful, everything would have to turn out as I had planned.

"So, what are we waiting for? Should we leave now? We will get to our outpost, and then we can begin the attack," Chloe said.

"Yes, I was thinking the same thing. We must leave now so we can reach the outpost while the sun is still on our side. We will begin our attack during the night," I replied.

"Great. Did you ask him about the outpost? Is it completed or not?" she asked.

"Yes, I forgot. I turned towards the minion and asked, 'Is the outpost ready, or do they still have time to complete it?'"

"The outpost is almost ready, my lord. It will be complete when you arrive there. The builder minions have made a strong outpost, a castle that can withstand any attack from any enemy," the minion replied.

After confirming all the details, I was ready to select my army and leave for the mission. I would have to choose the number of soldiers I would be taking with me, and the soldiers I would be leaving behind for the protection of the city. I opened the advanced control menu to check for the number of soldiers I had.

I felt strong after looking at the number of soldiers I had. I opened up the army selection tab to select the number of soldiers I will be taking with me to the new outpost.
