My Pokémon Player

Some readers may not have seen the movie of Celebi, so they don't understand the previous plot. I can give a brief summary.

One of the protagonists of the movie is named Yukinari, who is Professor Oak's childhood.

One day he came to a forest to sketch, and met the girl "Yonaga" at the entrance of the forest.

Yongaga gave Yukinari the advice that "if you hear the sound of the forest, you can't walk around."

Yukinari said that it was nothing, and then walked into the forest.

As a result, he heard the sound in the forest and met Celebi who was being hunted by hunters.

In order to protect Celebi, Yukinari was involved in the "power of time travel" and brought to the future 40 years later.

In the world 40 years later, Yukinari met Xiaozhi and his group, and gained Celebi's trust by putting Celebi into the Lake of Life to restore his health.

But in this world, Mask Bixias, known as the strongest cadre of Team Rocket, is planning to hunt Celebi.

Bixias has the Dark Ball that can turn all Pokémon into evil, and takes Celebi away from Xiaozhi and his friends.

In order to save Celebi captured by Bixias, Xiaozhi and Xuecheng fought desperately, and finally let Celebi get rid of the control of the Dark Ball.

However, Celebi became extremely weak due to the rampage of the Dark Ball, and because the Lake of Life was polluted, even if Celebi was put into the lake again, it still could not recover.

Xiaozhi and his friends remembered that the shame of a certain unnamed beast could purify the lake water.

Suicune also appeared at the right time, and the water of the Lake of Life returned to normal, but Celebi suffered too much damage, and even the Lake of Life could not heal Celebi.

Just as Xiaozhi and his friends and the Pokémon in the forest were crying sadly, the "Voice of the Forest" appeared again.

Many Celebi appeared above the Lake of Life, and they restored the life of this Celebi.

After the danger was over, Xuecheng and Xiaozhi said goodbye reluctantly and returned to 40 years ago with Celebi.

Xiaozhi and his group also left the forest where the Lake of Life was located and continued their journey.

This is the general plot, so why do we say that Xuecheng is Professor Oak?

Because in the ending clip, when Xiaojian was cleaning the study, he found a sketchbook, and one of the sketches was Xuecheng's drawing of Celebi and Pikachu.

And in the deleted clip, Xiaozhi called Professor Oak, and although Xuecheng's name was not mentioned, Professor Oak said, "I believe you and Xuecheng will always be friends."

After the call, Professor Oak also flipped through the works he drew in his childhood with a nostalgic look on his face, which is enough to prove that Xuecheng is Professor Oak.

This movie version can also explain why Professor Oak is so good to Xiaozhi. It is definitely not Xiaozhi's father as everyone joked, but they have a life-and-death friendship.
