Mystique:Demon Hunter

Chapter Thirty-Seven: Three Wicked Men

Early Saturday morning, a young and beautiful pregnant woman was walking in an alley.

In normal times, although this small alley is not crowded, many people will pass by it.

But at this moment, the pedestrians outside the alley seemed to have forgotten the existence of this small alley, and unconsciously bypassed it.

And the young pregnant woman walking in the alley did not notice that this road was any different from usual.

She was holding the ingredients she just bought in her left hand, and touching her bulging belly with her right hand, with a gentle smile on her face.

At this moment, she saw two young men, one tall and one short, appearing in front of the alley.

The tall young man had a malicious smile on his face and said maliciously:

"surprise!"

The young pregnant woman saw that the two people in front of her were not friendly, so she wanted to turn around and walk back. However, as soon as she turned around, she saw a giant-like man appearing not far behind her.

This man has light eyebrows, obvious wrinkles on his face, and a serious and solemn expression.

"Who are you? What do you want to do?" The young pregnant woman leaned against the wall and shouted in a panic.

"What are you doing? Doing something bad." The tall young man said with an evil smile on his face.

The short young man next to him came slightly closer and said softly:

"Hey, Anduin, can you please stop acting like the three of us are bad guys? It's very embarrassing."

"Ahem." Gawain rubbed his face, making his expression serious, and said:

"I just thought it was a very appropriate line to say in this situation."

"It's quite fitting, we are like three gangsters and bullies." Leonard complained.

"No." Gawain shook his head.

"What?" Leonard asked doubtfully.

"You are the only one who looks more like a bad guy. With my appearance and temperament, you can tell at a glance that you are here to save the beautiful girl."

Gao Wentian said shamelessly: "The man opposite is obviously a decent person who is here to uphold justice."

"I'm the only one who's the bad guy, right?" Leonard said helplessly.

"Of course." Gawain nodded.

"But I'm not bad in appearance, I'm just a little shorter than you." Leonard pinched his thumb and index finger slightly to make a small gap.

"But your temperament is unruly, and you look like that kind of aristocratic villain." Gawain said.

"But the current situation is that villains, heroes and decent people stand together and plan to bully a weak pregnant woman." Leonard sneered.

"Our target is not Megoose. Don't make us sound like we are evil people." Gawain corrected Leonard and returned what he just said intact.

Gawain nodded to Bishop Utravsky on the other side of the alley, indicating that it was time to start.

Soon, a heavy and broad sword appeared in Bishop Utravsky's hand, as if it were a giant sword condensed with light, and he inserted it directly into the ground.

Suddenly, the entire alley was filled with silver light, making the place seem to be sanctified.

Under the dawn light of Bishop Utravsky, all evil and filth will be suppressed and weakened.

Seeing the bishop's actions, Gawain thought of an online game he had played in his previous life for no apparent reason.

There is a profession in that online game. When fighting, he will first stick his weapon on the ground, and then use his fist to smash the enemy's head with an "Eula".

Unfortunately, when he traveled through time, he heard that this game was going to be heavily criticized.

Turning red blood into petroleum is a trivial matter. The ghost inside has to add legs, and even the gorilla has to wear pants.

Gawain shook his head and put away the unreasonable associations in his mind. He said softly: "Old sir, please take action."

"Easy to say." came Pales' old voice.

Under the light of the morning sun, Megoos became more and more anxious, and her bulging belly began to squirm restlessly.

And when her mood became more and more abnormal and she was about to start to experience changes, her bulging belly suddenly flattened out, and she herself seemed to have lost support and fell softly to the ground.

"Wow!"

A slightly weak cry was heard, and a half-illusory, half-real baby figure appeared next to the unconscious Megoose.

He, the true Son of the Creator, was stolen from His mother's womb by Pales.

His first reaction after being stolen out was to try to return to his mother's body.

But at this moment, the distance between the fainted Megoos and Bishop Utravsky was also stolen.

Megoose was lying behind the bishop, and the bishop was holding a giant sword in both hands, and silver armor appeared on his body.

This thin, deformed baby kept attacking the bishop. He wanted to return to his mother's body as soon as possible, otherwise he would inevitably die young.

However, under his attack, Bishop Utravsky stood there like a wall, unmoved by the attack.

Seeing this scene, Gawain immediately threw away his previous thoughts about "armor having a purpose". He now only had one thought in his mind:

The armor smells so good!

Possibly due to being born prematurely, the baby appeared to be very weak and far from showing the same power as in the original work.

At least, Gawain only felt some pain in his brain during His cry, but other than that, he didn't feel much negative impact.

Leonard next to him was not so strong. He had obvious symptoms of dizziness. He could only use Gawain standing next to him for support to prevent him from falling.

"Can you handle this?" Leonard said with a somewhat rapid breathing.

"Of course, otherwise why would I spend so much effort?" Gawain rubbed his temples and shook his head to make his pain lessen slightly.

"What do you need me to do?" Leonard asked with difficulty.

Gawain turned his head and looked at him and said:

"Next, I'm going to use the illegal spell."

"Ah?" Leonard responded blankly, not understanding what Gawain meant.

"What he means is that we should go out." Pales' old voice came.

The next second, Leonard found himself outside the alley.

"Old man, how did you get me out?" Leonard still didn't understand the situation.

"Hey, didn't you listen to what he said? They are about to use illegal spells, why are you still there? Are you familiar with them?" Pales said unceremoniously.

"I didn't think about this," Leonard said a little embarrassed.

"So, you still have a lot to learn." Pales taught him.

"Hey, I'll trouble you to teach me more from now on." Leonard said with a playful smile.

"Oh, when I wanted to teach you before, you were perfunctory, but now I want to learn, it's too late!"

"No, old man...no...old sir, no, teacher, I was young and ignorant before, you old man..."

Leonard smiled apologetically and drifted away...
