In the file Roose Bolton gave me earlier,

The relevant cases do not seem to be complicated.

There is probably a guy who likes to cut people's bodies. He has recently committed a series of murders in the Kanks area.

Wayne's first reaction when he saw the file was -

Is that you, Jack the Ripper?

Then Wayne thought again, this is the New World, we in America must also have our own outstanding killer:

So... could it be you, Dr. Hannibal?

But the victim’s internal organs were not stolen…

The murderer's crime locations were mostly near the state line in Kansas City on both sides, but occasionally in the suburbs;

The victims are both men and women, ordinary citizens, black market dealers, and professional women who can provide special services;

The time intervals between the crimes were not very regular. The first two were separated by more than a year. There was a period of intensive crime in between, with some crimes occurring once a week apart. The intervals between the two most recent crimes were extended to half a month.

It is said that Roose Bolton has just arrived in Kankers.

He also seemed to understand why Roose Bolton needed Wayne and his team to assist in the investigation:

The new bishop of the Holy Spirit Church Archdiocese of Kankers just completed his ordination ceremony a few days ago and was officially in office.

Then Wayne and the others found the bar and asked the bar’s...owner?

Anyway, I feel like I'm a manager who can have a say in the bar.

When faced with inquiries,

The other person was drunk and his neck was red. His first reaction was:

The other party "duang" the beer glass on the bar:

"I have already told the police that the dead man is called Luke, and he was an alcoholic and gambler.

“He seemed to have made a small fortune last night, and he might have shown off his wealth in the bar, and then he was robbed.

Wayne nodded as he made a mental note. "He made a small fortune? Any idea why?"

"How should I know?" The other man gulped down another mouthful of beer. "I guess he won a prize somewhere, or got some good stuff. He deals with some unknown little things from time to time. Maybe he dug up some outsider's grave again."

To be reasonable,

Elaborate burials are not popular in America today, and not many valuables can be found in the graves of ordinary people.

Wayne asked some more questions.

The people in the tavern didn't seem to be particularly familiar with the deceased, so they went to the other party's residence listed in the file.

A dilapidated cabin in a relatively secluded place.

It is a separate house with its own small yard.

The people in the tavern said that he was digging graves, which should not be slander.

Before I even walked into the cabin, I could smell a mixed smell.

This is a relatively typical residence for unemployed people living alone.

Various junk were piled on one side, as well as related digging tools. It looked like life was not taken too seriously, but there were still quite a few relatively decent clothes hanging in the yard to dry.

The origin of these clothes really doesn't bear careful consideration.

There were a lot of women's clothes placed around the "bed" in the room, with obvious stains and a strong smell.

Some stains looked like they were added by a "living person" later, while others looked like they had originally overflowed from a "dead person".

Lina covered her nose and looked around the cabin, and made the first judgment:

“All the stuff in his house combined doesn’t seem to be as valuable as the cash you mentioned in the file.

"It may have something to do with his recent wealth, right?"

Inissa had already covered her face with the handkerchief that was stained with medicine, and nodded when she heard this:

“I just don’t know what he discovered.”
