Nice To Meet You, Mr. Xiao

Lian Ruoqing listened, but just smiled and said nothing.

Seeing the man glance at her, the look made her feel funny and she immediately looked away.

"Miss Lian." The assistant called her. When Gu Chengdong stepped out of the elevator and held up the umbrella, she was about to get into the umbrella, but she saw Gu Chengdong holding the umbrella and pulling Lian Ruoqing away.

She stood in the rain, but ran after him.

The rain soaked her clothes. When she entered the restaurant, she was in a panic, but she still followed her to the dining table and wiped the rain off her face with a napkin.

"Since your clothes are wet, go and change into another one." Lian Ruoqing said.

But the assistant smiled and shook his head and said, "No, I have to pack Ou Jun's bags after dinner. How can I have time to change clothes?"

"Then I'll go to the bathroom." Lian Ruoqing said.

She stood up and left. When she walked to the bathroom door and looked back, she saw the assistant reaching out to touch Gu Chengdong's face.

"Mr. Gu." She looked at him pitifully and said, "There is something dirty on your face."

Before her hand could touch his face, Gu Chengdong reached out and grabbed the edge of the dining table, lifted the table with force, and knocked her body away. The dining table pressed heavily on her.

The assistant fell down and forgot about the pain.

I couldn't believe it when I stared at Gu Chengdong. I didn't expect him to do it so simply.

Lian Ruoqing washed her face in the bathroom and happened to see this scene. She looked at Gu Chengdong in disbelief. She had never seen him so irritable.

"Help, help." The assistant shouted.
