Chapter 160 James' Network

Chapter 160 James’s connections

Jimmy's connections in various police departments are really good. He is not the kind of person who is arranged by the leadership, but relies entirely on his own super strength to establish connections. Each police department will usually give some face to each other.

There is still time to provide support.

Jimmy trained at SWAT for a while and then left the training base. He couldn't stay here for a long time. The training base was a bit far from the city. If he supported him, it would sometimes delay his time.

After getting off work, Jimmy returned to the police station. James was still there. James asked Jimmy to change his clothes and took him out of the police station with him.

Jimmy didn't drive today, but took James' car. As for the destination, it was the club where Jimmy met Tom a long time ago. There was no signage here, it was obviously a private club, and it might not even be open to the public at all.

James took Jimmy into the club, and the guard outside opened the door without verifying their identities. It seemed that James had come many times, and the guard here had a good memory.

The last time he came to the club, Jimmy was in a hurry and didn't observe the situation at all. This time he was much more relaxed and in the mood to take a look around.

This is a 3-story villa, which looks quite large from the outside. Jimmy comes in through the front door. On one side of the hall is the service desk, and on the other side is a circular staircase leading to the second and third floors.

Jimmy opened his mind and could only see the front part. The structure of the room in the depths could not be seen at all. As for the upper and lower parts, looking from Jimmy's current position, he could see that the people in the upstairs room were scattered in twos and threes in various rooms.

Looking at the human figures, they are basically talking or something like that.

This club was obviously a normal one, there was nothing dirty going on, at least Jimmy didn't see it.

Just when Jimmy got this initial impression, James took him up to the second floor and walked inside for a while. Jimmy found a large room with several people gathered around a table. Well, this shape can basically be judged as...

Texas Hold'em.

Fortunately, James's destination is not this room. Jimmy doesn't know how to hold Texas Hold'em at all. If he were to sit down, it would just be a meal delivery.

James' target was a small reception room, where two people were already chatting on the sofa. James did not knock on the door, but directly opened the door and entered the room. Jimmy followed James in.

This is a relatively small reception room, about 30 square meters. There is a shelf against the wall, with some wine and a few boxes on it, and some cups in the cabinet below. There is a round table in the middle of the room.

There are three single sofas placed in a triangle.

Two elderly people, aged 6 and 70, looked older than James. Although their hair had turned white, they were still energetic. The two were smoking cigars and chatting when they were interrupted by the sound of the door opening.

James took Jimmy to the opposite side of the two people. James sat on the remaining sofa, and Jimmy stood next to James as his little brother.

James introduced them: "Dave, Walter, this is Jimmy, the best young man in the police department." Jimmy nodded to them, did not speak, and just stood with his hands folded in front of his lower abdomen.

James looked at the person on his left, "Dave, I need your help."

Dave took a cigar from the cigar box on the table and handed it to James. James did not continue talking, but began to cut the cigar. After he lit the cigar and took a puff, he continued to speak.

James: "Dave, I know you have retired, but I think you should still be able to contact the people inside. I need to check the last locations of 2 phone numbers. Please help me. I owe you one time."

James' speech was obviously too straightforward. I don't know if it was because he was impatient, but he had no intention of making polite greetings at all.

Dave looked up at Jimmy, then at James, who nodded.

Dave: "Yeah, give me your number."

James turned to look at Jimmy. Jimmy took out a pen and paper from his pocket and wrote down two numbers. One was the number recorded in his own mobile phone, and the other was the number on Tom's business card that James gave him. He knew this early this morning

When James went to check these two numbers, he had already memorized the phone numbers.

After Jimmy finished writing, he folded it and handed it to James. James didn't read the content on the note and directly handed it to Dave.

Dave unfolded it and took a look, put it in his suit pocket, then took out a card holder from another pocket, found a business card from it and gave it to James. "Contact him tomorrow."

James was obviously relieved. He held up the business card and gave it to Jimmy. He said to Jimmy without looking back: "Jimmy, you can go back."

Jimmy took the business card, turned and left the reception room.

Obviously these two are big guys, and Jimmy is not qualified to sit and chat with them. James can bring him over to meet these two, which is already a great help to him. If possible in the future, he does not rule out that he may inherit

Part of James' personal connections.

When Jimmy left the door of the reception room, he put his business card in his pocket, put his hands in his trouser pockets, and walked slowly to the club hall.

He was brought here by James. He did not drive his own car, so he had to ask the staff at the service desk to call and reserve a taxi for him.

Jimmy took a taxi back to the county police headquarters. He did not drive directly home, but returned to his work station, took out the business card and looked at it.

Okay, a very familiar icon, the FBI round logo, although it only has a name and a phone number, but you still know the basics.

Jimmy took out the armpit holster and gun from the drawer, put them on before going home. When he went to the club before, James specifically told him not to bring weapons, so Jimmy followed James there empty-handed. He didn't have a gun on him.

I really lack a sense of security.

Jimmy drove home and unfortunately encountered a flat tire on the way. While changing the tire, Jimmy couldn't help but think, something is wrong. It was the first time in more than a year that a tire had a flat tire while driving. Could it be that the wave of bad luck at the end of last year was another one?

It's coming.

Jimmy changed the tires, cleaned up the dust, got up and drove home.

The next day, Jimmy came to the police station to sign in. At noon, he called the number on his business card. The call was quickly connected, and a man's voice on the other side said, "Who are you?"

Jimmy: "I'm looking for Pete. I want to get some materials."

Pete: "3 p.m., FBI Little Rock office parking lot." After saying that, he hung up the phone.

Jimmy was speechless. If you guys didn't choose the parking lot, wouldn't there be no other place? Everyone was involved in the parking lot.

But that’s normal. Little Rock is different from other bustling state capitals. It’s really a vast area with sparsely populated areas. The buildings in the city center all have large ground parking lots. There’s absolutely no surveillance in such a place.

, at best, there is a surveillance camera from a distance watching a large area, and it is impossible to record the sound of the conversation.
