Chapter 27 The Former Superintendent

Chapter 27 Former Superintendent

Jimmy followed Noah to the wild, and the two parked the car on a small road.

Noah gave Jimmy a cigarette, and the two of them lit it. After taking two puffs, Noah spoke.

"Jimmy, do you think what happened today is a little strange?"

"Well, I don't understand."

"Reiner was the superintendent of the police department when I first arrived. He has worked for the Pulaski County Police Department for more than ten years."

"Six years ago, Reina was fired from the police station because of some things. Of course, it was said that he resigned. He has not appeared in the past few years, until today." Noah took two puffs of his cigarette, threw it to the ground and stomped on it.

Then he took out another one.

"Reina has always been related to a certain gangster family, but we didn't know it until 6 years ago. We caught a drug dealer while selling drugs. When he was escorted back to the police station, the police car was attacked and the drug dealer was rescued.

He left and sacrificed a policeman.

The bureau later traced the drug dealers, discovered their stronghold, and arrested a leader. He revealed that there was a mole in the bureau. After the drug dealers were caught, he notified them of the route, which led to the tragedy. The bureau used this person as bait.

The mole located Reina.

Reina should have been arrested, but for unknown reasons, Reina was not arrested. Instead, he submitted his resignation, left the police station, and was never seen in Little Rock again."

"Why hasn't it been found out for several years?" Jimmy was a little confused. This kind of mole should be the most hated situation in the police station.

"No, in fact we investigated, but were stopped quickly. I don't know where the pressure came from, but it is certain that Reina is involved in the gangster family, and he should have considerable power."

"What happened next? Did you just give up? We sacrificed a colleague."

"Well, the investigation was never reopened. Reina left, and the colleagues who died were compensated."

Jimmy didn't know what to say. With compensation and the mole found, nothing happened. How much pressure would it take to make the entire police department give up the investigation?

"Then why did they come back this time?"

"I don't know, but, Jimmy, you have to be careful when patrolling recently. I have a bad feeling. I'm leaving now. Goodbye."

Noah stamped out his cigarette, got in the car and left, followed by Jimmy on the road, starting a slow patrol.

Chief James is probably the most aware of what happened today. There was a mole in the police station, which also led to the death of the police officers. Although he was not the chief at the time, this kind of scandal will definitely leave enough information among the top management. The second one should be Sam.

Director, he notified the county police and the director to the scene today. He obviously knows about Reina. This is not an ordinary hostage-taking. The key lies with Reina.

Because he had something on his mind, Jimmy was basically in a state of herding sheep during subsequent patrols. As long as it wasn't too much, he just let it go. The dispatch center did not arrange any tasks, and he was too lazy to take the initiative to cause trouble.

After the patrol ended in the evening, Jimmy went directly back to the police station to rest. The matters concerning him have not been settled yet. The IRS is weighing on his heart like a mountain, and he can't figure out how to solve it.

Jimmy went home to rest in the morning. After waking up in the afternoon, Jimmy went to Wal-Mart and purchased some daily necessities. As the days became more and more stable, Jimmy felt that it was time to decorate the apartment like a home, at least so that he could be in this apartment.

Cooking life.

Perfecting a home cannot be done in one purchase. Jimmy tidied up a little and continued to go to work.

After getting the equipment according to the procedure, Jimmy hit the road again. When he arrived at his crossroads territory, Jimmy continued to wait and see.

Jimmy was particularly bored tonight. No matter whether he was squatting at the intersection or patrolling the road, he didn't meet a suitable target. He was wandering on the road like a ghost in the night. If it weren't for the black and white police car livery, someone would have called the police.

Near midnight, Jimmy received a task from the dispatch center to go to Summerfield Village to solve a noise nuisance incident.

Jimmy arrived in Summerfield and found the caller. He called 911 to say that his neighbor was doing renovations at night, which seriously interfered with their rest.

Jimmy said goodbye to the caller and came to their neighbor's door.

The lights were turned on in the neighbor's house, but now there was no sound at all. Jimmy stood by the door and knocked on the door, "Pulaski County Sheriff, open the door."

"Wait a moment." A man inside replied, and then opened the door, but the screen door did not open.

"What's the matter? Officer."

"What do you call it?"

“Frank Moses”

"Mr. Moses, someone complained about your noise nuisance, so I came to see if you were renovating the house?" Jimmy looked behind the man as he spoke. There was no furniture in the living room, only a couch and a cabinet against the wall.

, are all new, it looks like they just moved here.

"Yes, decorate the kitchen and rooms."

"Do you mind if I go in and take a look?" Jimmy continued to ask.

"Of course you don't mind, please come in." The man opened the screen door, and Jimmy followed in. Accompanied by the man, he took a look at the kitchen being renovated and the storage room next to it. There were some wooden shelves scattered in the kitchen, as well as several barrels.

The paint and part of the wall were smashed off, and there were some broken wood and dirt on the ground. It looked like they were planning to carve out some space on the wall to install wall cabinets.

Jimmy didn't notice anything unusual, turned back to the door, and said to the man: "Mr. Moses, the decoration at night will affect the neighbors' rest. You don't want the neighbors to complain all day long, right. In the future, it is better to advance the decoration time. It is best to

It’s good that it’s daytime.”

"Of course, I will pay attention. I just moved here and I haven't said hello to the neighbors yet. I will apologize to them tomorrow."

"Okay, that's it. Goodbye, Mr. Moses."

Jimmy turned and walked down the steps, then came back and asked, "Do I know you? You look familiar."

"Probably not. I have no impression. I just got here."

"OK, maybe I remembered it wrong. Goodbye, Mr. Moses."

Jimmy returned to the police car, reported the results, and left Summerfield.

After returning to the road, Jimmy was still thinking about the Frank Moses just now. His appearance looked very familiar to him, very similar to a movie star, only younger, Bruce Willis.

He has seen a lot of Bruce Willis movies, but most of them have no impression. The ones that have left an impression are Die Hard, Red Flames and The Expendables. And in the movies he has watched, Bruce Willis is very old.

Older, and Frank Moses here looks only in his 40s, far from the old man in the movie.

If it is really him, then very bad things will happen here, because his movies are basically gun battles and massacres. If such a vicious incident happened here, not just one or two people would be affected.
