It was quite a surprise to put it on the shelves on June 1st.

The book was launched on 25th. It was tested and pushed for five rounds on the 1st. Now the webpage is on the sixth channel. There is no news on the app for the time being. When I typed this line, the collection was 9900, which may be exactly 10,000 collections after 0 o'clock.

The number of words updated in May was 16w+, and the cumulative number was 20w.

Well, as a clumsy person, it is obviously impossible to type this daily average, which is entirely because I wrote a lot of drafts in April.

By the end of May, the drafts were all gone, so I started to write at night.

So it is embarrassing that the daily update of 5k has never stopped during the free period, but the full attendance requirement of 4k daily update after the listing may be sent one day (danger)

Usually I rarely talk about the problem of creation in various places, because I think that as an author, it is enough to write my own articles well. Today is a rare opportunity, and I suddenly thought of this book.

In fact, I don’t even believe it when I say it. The first unpublished 50,000 words of this book are an urban article.

Well, you read it right, it's a modern city, the writing is relaxed, and there are many cute girls driving together.

It has nothing to do with Western fantasy, steampunk, or Cthulhu.

The initial idea, or motivation, was just to write a career article with classical music as the theme.

According to this idea, I plan to submit to the city or light novel theme, and add some elements such as rebirth, system, entertainment, love, business war or urban superpowers.

As a career article with music running through the main line, most of them are of this choice.

As for the exception, before I wrote the book, I only knew "The Arcane Throne" during the Novice Village and "The Qin Emperor" in the ancient times. Later, after a book friend mentioned it, I knew "The Silent Crown".

It's either platinum or a great god. Newcomers should just write about urban entertainment and drive cars by the way. So there is the initial 20,000-word draft that has not been submitted yet.

What was the reason for changing my mind later?

First, I think that the best style of classical music stories must be told in a European context similar to the 18th and 19th centuries.

Second, if you want to build a power system, the most closely related to art and the most valuable to develop, in addition to humanistic factors, should be religion or mysticism.

How about fantasy?

When this idea came to my mind one day, and it became stronger and stronger, and I believed it more and more, I knew that I might be a pill.

I started to pounce from the idea stage.

Although I am a newbie, I also know that not only the total traffic of urban areas is larger, but also in terms of statistical proportion, urban entertainment readers have a higher tolerance for plagiarism elements. (Well, in fact, the relevant settings of this book are just a superficial or big foreshadowing, but in the early stage, it did appear as a plagiarism element, so I won’t spoil it here.)

And if I choose this way, it means that as a music professional article, urban entertainment readers with the most accurate market audience may not have the opportunity to see it at all.

Readers who like Western fantasy, epic, sword and magic or tentacle slime monsters, enter from the fantasy recommendation site, and see that the protagonist plays the piano and then becomes a conductor. Emmm, what the hell? ... Some of them are discouraged again.

But I am stubborn.

Since I am writing about classical music, I must write about it in the golden age with a strong humanistic atmosphere, endless masters, flourishing music theory, and gentlemen and ladies sitting and discussing music! No other background can surpass it in my heart!

And if I give up the category of mysticism, then in the later part of the novel, when I have some in-depth discussions on art, I can only list keywords such as "tears", "burning", "so noble", "music is so sacred", "art is so great", "divine brilliance", "masters are immortal", etc., which is boring!

Let it go, no one will come, science and engineering men are so stubborn!

Only such a journey can carry the dream of classical music in my heart.

So I threw away all the previous outlines and rewrote them.

Under such a transformation, I began to make up for the worldview of steampunk, the life and background of the Victorian era, and began to collect materials on mysticism. I began to learn from the worldviews and writing techniques of the mysterious, esoteric, Cthulhu, and Gnostic, and rewrote the outline of 100,000 words, while the previous urban outline only had 10,000 words.

This is the order. I have never touched these worldview elements before, and I learned them from scratch.

On the contrary, I did not make up for any additional knowledge of music. Many things have been deeply rooted in me.

I am also grateful to Canaan from the second editing team for being willing to accept such a fusion monster. When discussing the title and introduction of the book, he directly said that it touched his knowledge blind spot. (So what the hell did I write?)

Although the final idea was very stubborn at the time, my mentality was still very complicated after the book was submitted for signature.

The two mentalities intertwined back and forth: I felt that I should let myself go and just write to finish the book. Anyway, I don’t rely on this to make a living, and readers are nothing! Then I wondered if it would be really bad and weird, if no one would read it, what would I do if the data was bad! Is there anyone to save this poor timid orange!

Is this also a traditional skill of new authors?

However, I also tried to analyze my inner thoughts in depth:

There is no doubt that the world and story in my dreams may be affected by the state from time to time during the writing period, but the desire to complete the book is the driving force deep in my heart.

However, as a materialist, I know that we cannot emphasize subjective initiative unilaterally. An author needs external encouragement, readers who support him, data and achievements to prove that what he writes is more or less valuable. Only by facing his own desires and respecting the laws of human nature can he walk comfortably.

Back to the topic.

The estimated word count of the first volume is 300,000. The current pace is generally within my control. The progress is close to 2/3, and the word count may exceed 0-10% in the end.

In terms of updates, I will continue to write two chapters a day from tomorrow, but I will not relax the writing requirements for full attendance. Even if there are more subsidy standards, it is not as important as perfectionism in my heart.

(It means that there are too many water in the group today! In addition, I am a little cautious in writing the plot of the VIP volume, so I will only update once for the time being! I am confident...)

The outline of this book has a total of nine volumes, and the main lines are all two sides of the same coin of "artists" and "knowledgeable people". The ending and tone of each volume have been determined. Please believe in my determination to control the plot. I know that the mistake of 1k words in the early stage may not be made up by 100,000 words in the later stage.
