Orochimaru's Allah's Lamp

079 Life is not easy, the little snake sighs

Thousands of years ago, Longdi Cave was not called Longdi Cave.

Under the ground, there are dense tree roots of life called the ‘sacred tree’.

Compared to other places on this planet, it is no different. At best, the root of this tree is an important node of the sacred tree. It is extremely rich in natural energy, making the insects entrenched on it very fat and juicy.

Tree roots-insects-rats-snake, and some other creatures, this is the initial ecosystem of Yongji Cave.

Later, the war broke out and spread to the entire planet, and the Hamura brothers began to beat their mother.

As his damn clone, the Divine Tree, he returned to the form of the Ten-Tails. As an important node of the Divine Tree, the roots of the tree were naturally pulled away, leaving only a huge hole in the ground.

The plump and juicy insects were gone, but fortunately, after the war ended and the earth veins were stabilized again, Longdi Cave lost its roots, but it was still a natural energy node.

In other words, perhaps this place was originally a node, so the sacred tree deliberately dug out its roots to draw from it.

However, no matter what, with the Ten-Tails being sealed and losing the coordination of the divine tree's will, the ordinary tree roots scattered throughout the planet fell into a deep sleep one after another.

In the short term, the impact on the ecosystem is huge. The most intuitive thing is that there are fewer fat and juicy insects, and there will be fewer and fewer as time goes by.

Of course, it’s not a big problem. The ‘gods’ of the old era are overthrown and the order of the new era is re-established. The pain in the middle must be experienced.

If nothing unexpected happens, without the sacred tree's exploitation of natural energy, this place will become more prosperous after a period of time.

However, after all, this planet is not only the power of nature. Without the sacred tree, there are also other extraordinary creatures running rampant.

During the window of time when the new order was established, the White Snake Immortal emerged.

Perhaps it cannot be said to be a rise. It has been accumulated for a long time. By chance, the White Snake Immortal became a being at the top of the food chain.

It obeyed the instinct of the big snake and devoured everything it could see, including insects and mice... It almost wiped out all living things except snakes.

Even so, the White Snake Immortal was still not satisfied. He set his sights on the earth's veins and wanted to replace the roots of the sacred tree in the past.

Judging from the results, it succeeded. It filled the veins of natural energy with its own body. The body continued to grow under the erosion of natural energy, almost becoming a substantial earth vein.

But in a sense, the White Snake Immortal also failed. It is just a snake, and snakes have limits.

The three words "Longdi Cave" represent the new ambition of the White Snake Immortal after he understood his own limits.

Generally speaking, Immortal White Snake can be called a generation of owl snakes, and his experience can be said to be quite legendary.

But for other snakes, the story isn't pretty at all.

At the beginning, the White Snake Immortal almost blocked the entrance to the energy of the 'Longdi Cave' ecosystem, and after completely exterminating other races, some of the hungry snakes began to eat each other, and some fled to the ground.

There is nothing to say about the latter. I don’t know whether the Six Paths Immortal was dead or not during that period, but the Ninja Sect was just established, and it was an era when all heroes were coming together. The White Snake Immortal was not enough to see in person, let alone his snake sons and grandsons.

The part of the ground that devoured each other survived the growth period of the White Snake Immortal. After the natural energy was saturated in its body, it finally ushered in the dawn.

What initially recovered were plants, some moss, fungi and the like.

Normally, the next step would be some ants, cockroaches, watermelon bugs and other insects, but the snakes had been hungry for so long that they went crazy.

In the Age of Great Hungry, snakes that were originally used to capture scent information in the air were even used to lick insect eggs and ants in the soil. They were so hungry that they would even eat soil.

Now, with the availability of more delicious plants, the snakes at the bottom of the group have begun to eat vegetarian food.

Plants, as well as groups of vegetarian snakes, as well as scavenger snakes that existed during the Great Hunger Era, quickly filled the cycle of the ecosystem and stabilized it.

As a result, a special food chain consisting of plants and different types of snakes appeared in Longdi Cave.

It has continued until now.

"...It's hard for you to figure out the history of Longdi Cave so quickly and with such smooth logic."

Looking at the djinn who was talking to himself, Orochimaru's eyes were strange and his expression was very complicated. He couldn't tell whether he was amazed or admired.

Longdi Cave does not have the habit of recording history, and it is impossible for White Snake Immortal to publicize the history of his fortune for the reference of snakes.

Wan She vaguely knows some of the contents, just because it has lived long enough.

The certain information it can provide is that there are indeed only snakes in Longdi Cave. Big snakes eat small snakes, and small snakes eat plants.

Small snakes are born with molars in their lower mouths, which they use to chew plants. As they grow, they shed their skin, and when they turn into larger snakes, their molars fall off and become sharp teeth for easy eating of meat.

For example, Ten Thousand Snakes themselves are devoured bit by bit by small snakes and counterattacked.

Another point is that the White Snake Immortal is indeed like a horned dragon. His body is coiled throughout the Longdi Cave, motionless for many years.

The natural energy in Longdi Cave is second-hand goods, emitted from the body of the White Snake Immortal.

This is even more terrifying than what the Djinn God said. Longdi Cave is not only an extension of the White Snake Immortal’s will, but the bodies of the snakes have not escaped the transformation of the ‘White Snake Immortal Technique’.

After deducing this fact, Orochimaru was even a little hesitant about whether to go to Ryūchi Cave to practice celestial arts.

Changes in the body will feed back to the mind.

There is no doubt about this. With his research on the Uchiha Sharingan, the experimental data in his hands provided ironclad facts.

If I accept the magical energy of White Snake, will I really not change at all?

In hesitation, Orochimaru licked his lips.

He used his own will to accept the natural energy - the 'patterns' of the breathing method. He tried twice, once by the Djinn God forcibly turning it on, and once during the battle of Yunyin, the Deng God used his wish to cast it.

The latter was due to the protection of the power of desire, and he only suffered physical trauma, while the former, facing the invasion of natural abilities alone, lost his will directly.

If the djinn hadn't released the absorbed natural energy, his spiritual body might have died.

Human beings do have their limits, and he practiced immortality and transplanted first-generation cells... just to surpass human limits.

Orochimaru took a deep breath, his eyes became calm and then crazy.

He is bound to win the White Snake Immortal Technique. The question is, how to make the White Snake Immortal not just go through the motions but fully help him?

Orochimaru turned to look at the Djinn, "White Snake Sage is really seeking transformation? Dengjin, how sure are you of the story you made up?"

"The word 'edited' is really disrespectful. This is a reasonable idea based on the current situation."

The Djinn raised his eyebrows, "As for whether it's true or not, I'm 80% sure that the White Snake Immortal wants to transform into a dragon."

"Power is not that more is better, but that stronger is better. Didn't the first-generation cells already let you realize this?"

"How could the White Snake, which has lived for thousands of years, not understand this truth?"
