Chapter 163 Reconciliation

Mountain flower shop.

There were dull footsteps on the wooden stairs on the second floor. The lady looked up when she heard the sound, with a gentle smile on her face.

"Ino, aren't you going on a mission tomorrow?"

"I can't sleep." Ino, who was wearing loose pajamas, rubbed her eyes and looked a little haggard, "I'll come to visit the store, and mother should go and rest."

"Is it okay?" Yamanaka Reino asked.

The light in the store is bright, flowers are neatly arranged on the shelves, and moths fly around the illuminated lamp stands. The street gradually becomes noisy at night, and the sound slowly seeps in through the glass store door.

It was pitch dark outside, and the big green tree outside the store could be seen silent in the dim light.

Ino looked back and said with a smile.

"Well, it's okay, mother, I will go on a mission tomorrow afternoon, there is still plenty of time."

Yamanaka Reino nodded, got up from the counter and went upstairs. Ino sat down in front of the chair, found a book and read it absently.

"I just came back from a mission and haven't eaten yet. I brought you something to eat and I'll eat some too." Naruto told the truth without blinking.

"Then bring food." Naruto said.

She regretted being impulsive that day, but after thinking about it carefully, she realized that there was no need to say those unnecessary words.

"I originally planned to go home and go to bed, but suddenly I wanted to see you, so I came right here."

"I don't want to see you at all! Pervert!"

"good."

"Tsk." Ino muttered, "I've seen too many flowers. It's pointless for you to give me anything. It's better not to waste your efforts."

"What day?" Naruto didn't even raise his head.

"Shouldn't you say that this was specially brought for me?" Ino frowned, looking dissatisfied with his attitude, "Even if you say this, I will feel a little disgusted."

Seeing Naruto's slightly threatening but pretending to be sincere expression, I suddenly became very angry. I stepped forward a few steps and pinched him around the waist.

Ino nervously looked back towards the direction of the stairs on the second floor, frowned and approached, hesitated and bit off the bacon in one bite. Her cheeks bulged slightly, and then she swallowed it.

Then his pupils shrank and he smiled confidently.

Under the bright yellow light, Ino couldn't help but want to laugh, but she still held back. She pushed the book in front of her forward, her mouth was slightly flat, and she said angrily.

The store was a little quiet, and she was slightly lost in thought as she stared at a line of words in the book.

"But your truth sounds even more infuriating."

Ino looked at the person with complicated eyes. The person had messy blond hair and was wearing loose white short-sleeves and trousers. He didn't wear a forehead protector, revealing his smooth forehead.

She lowered her voice and loosened her grip on Naruto's waist.

"Buy it." Naruto leaned over, put the food box on the counter, lazily found a high chair and sat across from Ino, "I'll buy whichever one you like."

The late autumn nights are still cool, and people tend to become lazy. With a squeak, Naruto opened the door of the Yamanaka Flower Shop, and the noise from the street outside suddenly poured into the shop.

He was carrying a food box in his hand. He had long hands and long legs. He had indeed grown very fast in recent times. He walked without taking full strides, and the blue eyes hidden under his blond hair slowly settled on Ino's face.

"Who would want to talk to you? This statement is so disgusting." Ino clasped his hands together behind his back, "That day. What happened that day."

After the day the camping ended, nothing seemed to have changed. Iruka gave excellent evaluations on almost everyone's assessment records, except for Naruto.

"Okay." Naruto looked hesitant to speak.

But the words you speak are like water thrown out and cannot be taken back.

Ino glanced at him sideways, leaning her head half-supported on the counter, and glanced at Naruto. Then she looked out the window, and finally moved her eyes back, pausing on the food box for two seconds.

"Not really. If you can taste it after just one whiff, it wouldn't be so troublesome."

"I'm hungry." Naruto said, "If you say that, you will definitely not let me eat on purpose. Maybe you will forcefully finish it even though you have already eaten."

Ding bell, the store door was opened.

"Go to hell!" Ino threw the book over with a clatter, her face suddenly turned red, "My mother is still upstairs, you'd better not say anything weird."

"Is this a hint for me to take a bite?"

"That's all I bought."

"Abnormal!" Ino only revealed a pair of eyes from above the book with a look of disdain, "There is something going on in my mind."

"Don't stay here if you don't want to buy flowers."

The risks of being a ninja are too high. The greater the expectations, the more bad things will happen. There is still a long time to go, and no one knows what the future will bring.

"Maid outfit."

"It's too simple to eat." Ino picked up the book again, sat back down, and said casually, "It looks like a meal made in a hurry."

"This is the limit of cooking." Naruto didn't eat directly, looked at Ino and asked, "But... I suddenly want to know Ino's evaluation of this dish."

When she thought about what happened that day, Ino couldn't help but sigh. The direction of things at that time was completely out of her control, and she said some words without thinking.

"Welcome." Ino looked up and stopped mid-sentence.

Naruto sat directly opposite Ino, slowly opened the food box, and began to place a dish, a soup, and a fruit plate on the counter.

"Humph, you think too badly of me." Ino turned his head and said proudly, "Sorry, I have no appetite at all now."

"Your reason is too far-fetched. If that's the case, I won't eat a bite." Ino scanned the page many times without reading a single word.

"Hmm"

"What is that?"

"That's a shame, we almost fell in love." Naruto lowered his head and started to eat by himself, looking like he hadn't eaten in hundreds of years.

"Actually, I don't care about your evaluation, Ino. I just want you to take a bite, and then I can find a reason to take advantage."

"I like them all."

Naruto seemed to have lost his sense of pain, picked up a piece of bacon, handed it over, and said with a smile.

"That day at the Ninja School's summer camp." Ino hesitated, "I said a lot of strange things about that day."

"Really?" Naruto stopped his chopsticks and looked up at Ino with a lazy look in his eyes. "What did you say? I thought you and Hinata were teaming up to tease me."

"It's not a joke. Maybe I didn't feel well after being caught in the rain, so I said some nonsense." Ino whispered a little coyly, then looked at Naruto and changed the subject.

"Let's not talk about this anymore."
