The low-hanging clouds were dark gray. After Naruto washed up and changed clothes, he opened the door and the sky in the distance suddenly turned dark.

It was like someone turned off the lights above the clouds, and the surrounding light suddenly dimmed. Then a rumble of thunder resounded across the sky, and heavy rain fell without warning.

Naruto and Sakura stood in the corridor at the door, looking dumbfounded at the heavy rain.

"Did the weather in Konoha say it will rain today?" Sakura stood by the wall, frowning and looking at the white mist that blurred almost instantly.

"The weather was gloomy this morning." Naruto complained, "The good news is, I have an umbrella."

After about an hour, the rain became less intense.

"Let's go." Sakura stood up and said.

"Oh." Naruto responded and locked the door.

With a popping sound, the dark umbrella was opened. The two of them hid under a black umbrella. Fortunately, the umbrella cover was large enough, so there was no need to worry about getting wet.

"Naruto." Sakura broke the silence, her mood seemed a little low.

"Um."

"Why did those people look at us just now... like that?" Sakura asked worriedly, "Are they also residents of the apartment?"

When the two of them walked out of the apartment together, Sakura saw for the first time the gloomy expressions of the villagers standing under the eaves, as if they were looking at something extremely disgusting.

"Because you walk beside me, you are hated all the time." Naruto said.

"Is that kind of thing really okay?" Sakura couldn't help but shudder, "Naruto, you've always been looked at like that..."

She did not continue to say the next words and stopped talking.

"Ah, it's okay." Naruto didn't seem to care about Sakura's words. He held an umbrella in his hand and stared straight ahead.

The street below was dripping with rain, and there was always plenty of rain in midsummer. The black umbrella looked extremely awkward on the cold street.

His voice was firm and cool, as plain as freshly cooled boiled water.

"I don't care about them anymore. Although it's a bit too much to say this. But they are really just some brainless worms. They follow what everyone else says."

"In other words, hating me will unite them, and no one would want to feel out of place, right?"

The rain hit the black umbrella, making a splashing sound.

"With all due respect, they are just living, right? In human skin, the only meaningful things are to work and reproduce."

Listening to Naruto's words, Sakura didn't know what to say.

After walking through the old streets, the two stopped in front of the gift shop. Naruto motioned for Sakura to go in first. Sakura was confused and looked at Naruto in confusion.

"If you go in with me, the boss might not sell it to you."

Hearing this, Sakura was stunned for a while. She looked up at Naruto and then at the rain outside. After hesitating for a moment, she turned around and went in first.

After a pause, probably thinking that Sakura had already made her choice, Naruto walked into the store.

The boss recognized Naruto and frowned at him, but didn't say anything.

At this time, Sakura was walking out, holding a gift in her hand, which was a cute blue stuffed doll. Naruto nodded, turned around and walked out the door.

"Leave without buying anything?" The boss sitting at the door suddenly said sarcastically, "Next time you don't have money, come to my store less often."

Naruto ignored it and still walked forward.

On the other hand, Sakura felt as if she had been pricked by a needle on the palm of her hand, her brows furrowed and her fingers dug deeply into the doll.

Ninjas cannot harm the villagers of their own village. This is clearly stated in the ninja regulations. The boss obviously knew this, and he showed no intention of restraining himself when he saw Naruto walking out of the store.

Although she was already prepared in her heart, she saw the naked bullying happening in front of her eyes. The person being bullied was still her companion.

Sakura threw the doll into the boss's arms with resentment, which shocked the boss.

"What are you doing!"

"I won't buy it! What a shabby store!" Sakura glared at the boss and walked out angrily.

"Are you sick? Really!"

Sakura walked out of the gift shop, looked at Naruto who was waiting for her under the eaves on the other side to hide from the rain, pursed her lips and said.

"The stuff is not good, I won't buy it."

"Yeah." Naruto said nothing, opened the big black umbrella and walked into the rain.

"I plan to go to the ninja shop to buy a wristband for Sasuke, what do you think?" Sakura forced a smile and said, "I don't understand boys' preferences, so I asked you to help me."

"I didn't know this would happen, and I didn't think much about it... I'm sorry."

At the end, Sakura's voice became lower and lower.

"No need to apologize, I heard everything just now. In fact, you can buy it." Naruto said disapprovingly, "I don't care about those bugs talking at all."

"Insects?" Sakura blinked and didn't react for a while.

"Well, I regard those people as bugs." Naruto said, "Actually, they can't do anything to me except ostracize me."

"They have no power and live in confusion in this world. Even if I become a ninja, they still treat me rudely as always."

"Insects like these are indifferent to life or death. I don't take them seriously at all. To me, they are just insects in Konoha."

Sakura became more and more nervous as she listened, so she could only change the topic in time. But just as she was about to speak, a striking golden light flashed past her eyes.

"Why are you two together?" Ino raised her umbrella and stood in the rain, looking narrowly at the two of them.

Sakura was afraid that Ino would know that she was preparing a birthday gift for Sasuke, and she was also afraid that Naruto would spill the beans, so she hurriedly explained.

"I have something to ask Naruto for help with!"

"Huh?" Ino stared at Sakura suspiciously, "When did the relationship between you two become so good? To the point where we can rely on each other?"

"It's a matter of practice! Right? Naruto!" Sakura was concerned but confused, and her clumsy look meant she was lying.

"Yes." Naruto nodded.

"Practice matters?" Ino withdrew his gaze, and the doubts on his face slowly disappeared.

She did know that the two of them were assigned to the same class as Sasuke, and that Naruto's first place in the graduation exam was really surprising.

If you were asking for advice on spiritual matters, that would make sense.

But there was another thing that concerned Ino. Ever since Naruto said in front of her that Sasuke didn't like women, it had almost become her inner demon.

"I see you've all gone all the way, are you done asking for advice?" Ino asked.

"Please tell me...it's over." Sakura said helplessly, she really couldn't tell another lie.

"Okay." With that said, Ino handed the umbrella in her hand to Sakura, pulled Naruto and ran away!

"What?" Sakura was stunned.

"Borrow someone to use it!" Ino's voice came from far away, and the two of them had disappeared.
