EP One Thousand Thirteen Hundred. Quality Difference

Cultivating various dinosaurs as battle pets to cope with battles in different environments is one of the biggest highlights of Ark: Survival Evolved.

Having said that, many games have pets, and this game is not the only one that has the method of cultivating battle pets. Why does this gameplay in Ark: Survival Evolved receive praise from countless players and is praised by everyone?

As ancient creatures, dinosaurs have a powerful appearance. It is a very novel feeling for many players. After riding a dinosaur, they can transform into a so-called dragon knight. Different types of dinosaurs have different characteristics. From those that are good at collecting, to those that are dedicated to production, to those that are good at fighting, you can experience the fun brought by various gameplays when controlling these dinosaurs.

These are only superficial reasons.

The real core lies in Ark: Survival Evolved's unique approach to iterative inheritance, which puts the concept of one generation stronger than the next into practice.

In other games with pet gameplay, all players can do is probably catch wild monsters and turn them into their own pets.

Or directly brush the monster to level 0 the moment it is caught. If you are a little more careful, you will design a small prop in the game that can wash wild monsters into level 0 whiteboards, so that players can experience the pleasure of cultivating their pets by washing them by themselves. Generally speaking, the principle of cultivating whichever one you catch is basically followed.

But in Ark: Survival Evolved, a completely different set of rules is used.

Dinosaurs living in the wild will also be randomly assigned levels. But after being captured by players, they will not be suddenly refreshed to level 0, and there are no props in the game for players to wash their pets.

Instead, there are two other very special rules:

First, no matter what level the dinosaur is, the number of levels that can be improved the day after tomorrow is the same.

To give a simple example, if the wild dinosaur you caught is level 1, and the other one caught by someone else is level 31, then after you raise your dinosaur to the level limit, his That end is still 30 levels higher than yours.

Although the attribute points of wild dinosaurs are randomly assigned, the number of attribute points will still be calculated according to the level.

In other words, a level 31 wild dragon has a full 30 more attribute points than a level 1 dragon.

This gap will also remain until players tame wild dragons into battle pets.

Secondly, war pets can breed with each other. For dinosaurs of the same type, choose one male and one female and put them together. After a certain period of time, one or several dragon eggs can be produced. Also, the level of a dragon egg depends on the average level of its parents.

This may not be easy to understand, so let’s continue with examples.

Suppose you catch two Tyrannosaurus rex, one male and one female. The original levels are level 1 and level 31 respectively.

What level will the eggs born from the mating of these two dinosaurs be?

It is not level 16 calculated after 1312, because no one will directly skip the upgrade step and arrange for them to breed and lay eggs. Generally speaking, players will first train the first generation of dragons to the upper limit of the level, and then let them complete breeding at full level, so as to lay eggs of higher levels as much as possible.

Assuming that the underlying rule is that each pet dragon can only be upgraded to level 100, then when the final breeding is carried out, the levels of the two first-generation dragons will be 101 and 131 respectively. The dragon egg born after their union is level 116 of 1011312.

Before hatching, it is level 116. After hatching, it can be leveled up to level 100. In other words, the final level limit of the second-generation dragon trained by the player will be level 216.

Compared with the first-generation dragon captured from the wild, the final attributes of the second-generation dragon are obviously much stronger.

If you are not satisfied, you can continue to cultivate third-generation dragons and fourth-generation dragons until all individual attributes such as attack, blood volume, and endurance are maxed out, and the level can be raised to the upper limit stipulated by the underlying rules of the game.

The higher the level, the better the attributes and the stronger the combat effectiveness.

Driven by these two rules, players will give priority to higher-level wild dragons to tame, and will persevere in cultivating second- and third-generation dragons with better attributes.

Higher-level wild dragons are smaller in number and more challenging. In the process of cultivating second-generation dragons and third-generation dragons, there will also be a situation where the attributes need to be refreshed several times due to a certain degree of randomness in inheriting attributes. From the perspective of players, only a few people will despise the trouble, while the vast majority of the remaining people will regard it as a kind of fun and become more addicted to it.

Well, that's a bit far.

All in all, the dozens of dinosaurs sent out by Shi Xiaolei at this moment were all first-generation dragons he captured from the wild.

Although they have all been leveled up and have been promoted to the upper limit of their level, in the end, because their attributes are not very good, these first-generation dragons do not hold a very important weight in his heart.

There is no comparison with Baymax, who was fostered by him on Niihau Island and whose daily supplies were all provided by Stark. Now he is regarded as a star by the audience.

Let's put it this way, if Dabai, a third-generation dragon, is Shi Xiaolei's cherished treasure, then the dozens of first-generation dragons he has sent out now probably have a slightly better status in his heart than cannon fodder. Diudiu.

Even if he died, Shi Xiaolei would only be depressed for a while at most.

It's far from frustrating and annoying, let alone uncomfortable.

"Locke."

"Um?"

"When did you catch so many dinosaurs again?" Bayonetta suddenly asked Shi Xiaolei out of boredom.

"When I had nothing to do, I caught them one after another. What's wrong?" Shi Xiaolei responded casually while continuing to dismember the demon and collect those parts that might be valuable.

"Why?" Bayonetta raised her eyebrows: "There must be a reason. You are not the kind of character who would take the initiative to work overtime. If you don't have some purpose, I don't believe you would do it just because you are bored. Go catch dinosaurs for fun and pass the time.”

"Didn't I receive an application some time ago? Well, it doesn't seem appropriate to say this." Shi Xiaolei explained without looking back: "Didn't we set up a branch garden in China? It's been so long, The facilities are almost ready. Then, the staff sent there submitted an application to the headquarters.”

"After all, we are in China. If something goes wrong, then my fault will be huge. To be on the safe side, I think it would be better to send less dinosaurs cloned by Tony." Encountered a hard bone and got a hand Using more strength, Shi Xiaolei paused unconsciously: "In comparison, the ones I got from the Ark are more humane and obedient. So, I plan to finally dismantle you."
