Chapter Thirty-Fifth Department Transfer
"That's it, we're almost there."
Molly said while holding Ginny who was sleeping in the back seat.
Molly is a hospitable person. When Luo Cheng asked to visit Arthur Weasley, Molly readily agreed and invited him to come to the Burrow first and said that Arthur would be there soon after his morning shift.
Coming back.
So Luo Chengcheng invited Molly and her daughter to get in his magic Beetle and drive there according to the route directed by Molly.
Luo Cheng lowered the height of the car a little.
"We're a little outside the village," said Molly, "yes, right here, Ottery St. Catchpole..."
The car flew lower and lower.
"Landing!"
Luo Cheng shouted, and the car shook slightly and touched the ground. They landed next to a dilapidated garage, surrounded by a small yard.
It seemed to have been a large pigsty made of stone before. Later, some rooms were added here and there, and it was as high as several stories. It was built crookedly and completely by magic. Any Muggle construction engineer who looked at this house
They all have to go crazy.
There are four or five chimneys on the roof of the red house, and a sign is inserted diagonally in front of the house that says "The Burrow." There are some high-top leather boots thrown next to the door, as well as a rusty crucible and a few fat brown chickens.
Pecking in the yard.
"The conditions at home are a little rough, please don't mind." Molly said.
"The small apartment my parents left me was much more modest than this. This is a warm home, Aunt Molly."
Luo Cheng's words hit home to Molly's pride. She has always felt that although her home is simple, it is full of family warmth. Although it doesn't look good on the outside, who can raise seven children without falling back into poverty?
Molly took Luo Cheng into the Burrow, and after walking through the narrow entrance, they came to the kitchen.
The kitchen is also small and quite crowded, with a clean wooden table and a few chairs in the middle.
The wall clock on the opposite wall has only one needle and no numbers. On the clock it says "make tea", "feed the chickens", "you're going to be late" and the like. There are three layers of books on the mantelpiece: "Give Me"
"Your Cheese Is Magic", "The Magic of Baking Bread", "Conjure a Feast!", etc. - are all magic books.
After Molly put the sleeping Ginny to bed, she came out to greet Luo Cheng for lunch.
She tossed the sausage nonchalantly into the frying pan.
"Dear, did Arthur modify your car for you?"
"Indeed, I asked Uncle Arthur to help me improve my transportation, because I'm really not good at using a broomstick."
Luo Cheng didn't lie to Molly. He didn't like flying broomsticks at all, because the posture of riding a broomstick made him very uncomfortable, so he asked Arthur to help him improve it.
"Hey... I knew he was the only one who could tinker with these things."
Molly was obviously worried that Arthur's move violated the regulations of the Ministry of Magic. Just as Luo Cheng was about to explain, he heard a bang on the door.
"Back!" said Molly, "Arthur is back!"
The next second I saw Mr. Weasley slumped on the kitchen chair, took off his glasses, and closed his eyes. He was a thin man, a little bald, but what little hair he had left was the same as his children.
The same red as his. He was wearing a green robe and looked dusty.
"Arthur! We were talking about you, and who came to visit you?"
"Oh! Isn't this Luo Cheng!"
Arthur muttered tiredly. He reached for the teapot, then took a big sip of tea and breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he seemed to come to life again, "Haha! I was thinking about you before. How about that car?"
"Very good, so good that Luo Cheng drove Harry Potter to school in that car today, and also drove Ginny and I back in this car."
Molly poured eight or nine sausages onto the arranged plate.
"I don't blame you, dear. It's all Arthur's fault. He broke the law."
Mr. Weasley blinked.
"Oh, dear, I think you will find that there is nothing illegal in doing so. There is a loophole in the law. You will find that as long as he does not subjectively modify the car to fly, the fact that the car can fly does not violate the law.
"
"Arthur Weasley, you deliberately left a loophole when you wrote the law!"
Mrs. Weasley shouted, "Don't think I don't know. You recently got a Muggle car in the shed. Are you planning to build one for yourself?"
Arthur Weasley was keenly aware of his wife's anger. The witty middle-aged man immediately changed the subject and continued to struggle with the car issue, fearing that the car in his shed would not be saved.
"Luo Cheng, why did you come to visit me?"
"Uncle Arthur, it's like this. I want to transfer departments within the Ministry of Magic. You are an old employee of the Ministry of Magic. Do you know anything about this?"
