Chapter 156 - Trisha's Residence

"You sure it's this way?"

A heavy voice asked.

But Chihua just replied with an annoyed voice.

"If I remember correctly...  but why the fuck are you four retards following me?"

"Four retards... we're your seniors, Chihua...."

The girl among the Four Heavenly Kings sighed. The one with the heavy voice scratched his head and followed.

"Trish-"

"Boss! You don't have the privilege to say her name!"

Chihua shouted at the bald man with a heavy voice.

"Ergh... Boss is our boss too. So we are also concerned about her wellbeing."

"Disgusting...! We're delinquents, shouldn't you two be happy that the Boss is gone?"

The man with glasses and shoulder-length hair sharply.

"You say, but you're the one who's constantly asking what she's doing. We only came here because you keep saying Chihua shouldn't go alone."

The man with the heavy voice said.

"And he also calls her Boss of his own volition. What a tsundere."

The girl commented.

"Yo, Matt, is that true?"

Chihua asked the one with glasses, whom he called Matt, with an annoyed look.

"N-no! Of course, that's not true!"

"Lol"

The short guy among them said with an expressionless face.

"Shut up!"

"Yeah, you retards will shut up now, I think we're here."

Chihua said to them as he remembered they were close to Trisha's residence.

"I've been thinking this for a while but why do you know the Boss' house?"

The girl named Janna said with an inquisitive look.

"Tsk... that was when I got curious of her after she beat you all up by herself."

"So you stalked her-"

"Shh!"

Chihua shushed Janna which the latter rolled her eyes away.

"Who's that person?"

The man with the heavy voice, Tordan, pointed at a suspicious person standing in front of Trisha's residence.

"I don't know."

Chihua shook his head.

"But are you really sure this is the Boss' place? I didn't think she would be this rich... why is she in a rundown school like the Public?"

Matt asked.

"I once recalled that she just likes fighting so she went to the Public."

"What a weird girl..."

"Sh! Act natural, we're going in."

Chihua shushed Janna again and walked towards the front gate where the suspicious man was just standing. The four followed and as soon as they got near, the person with the long coat even though it was hot, looked at them.

"Are you from here?"

The man in a long coat asked.

Chihua looked at the others before shaking his head and replying-

"No, we're just here to visit."

"Hm, but do you know that this is the residence of Trisha Jane?"

Chihua frowned, his suspicion of this guy increased. There's something wrong with this guy but Chihua couldn't really tell what makes him think that. However, he will still trust his guts. That's why he didn't want to answer the question. Instead, he threw his own question.

"No, we're just about to ask the same question."

"Is that so..."

The man then rang the bell after that reply.

Chihua and the rest waited patiently when they were asked again.

"So, are you here to visit Trisha Jane too?"

"... yes, you too?"

"Yeah"

"What's your relationship to her?"

Chihua asked but the man only looked at him in response.

"What about you?" asked the man as if he had answered the question first.

"We're just her classmates. Do you know what happened to her?"

Chihua continued to probe.

"Yes"

It was a short answer.

Soon, someone came out and opened the front gate.

"Is there anything I can do for you?"

A middle-aged woman asked after the gate opened. She strongly resembles Trisha with the roundness of her eyes and her blonde hair. There's no doubt, she's a direct relative, if not Trisha's mother herself.

"I want to check on a student named Trisha Jane. I'm an assistant inspector and am here to get answers from her."

The man showed his badge which the middle-aged woman frown in response. It was not of anger but with worry.

"I'm Trisha's mother. Sorry, but can you go for another time? Trisha... she's not feeling well today."

"I apologize if I'm being too pushy but I'm just doing my job. It's not that I don't trust madam's words but I have to see her for myself."

"..."

Trisha's mother looked troubled and this was the moment Chihua stepped in.

"Officer, I think she's really not feeling well. Could you show some consideration and come back another day?"

The man just gave him a glance but it doesn't seem like his words bear weight. Chihua felt irritated at this but when he noticed Trisha's mother was looking at him with a curious look, he introduced himself.

"Hello, auntie, my name's Renz Christian, we're Trisha's classmates and are here to see her too. However, if she's not feeling well, we can just come back for another time."

"Renz Christian...?"

The other four looked at Chihua, wondering how he got that name. They forgot that Chihua was just his nickname.

"Trisha's classmates? Ohh, how wonderful! Come in, come in."

Trisha's mother became excited but then remembered that there's another visitor there. She looked at the guy in a long coat. Since she will let Trisha's classmates in, it would be awkward if she didn't let the assistant inspector in too.

"Please, you can go and see her too, Inspector..."

"Ah no, I'm just an assistant since the detective is currently handling another matter." the man smiled at Trisha's mother, "You can call me just Hanon or if you like, Sir Hanon since I'm also a teacher as a side job."

"A teacher? From where?"

"From Mershen High."

"Oh, that lessens my worry. I hope you can be understanding on my daughter's situation."

"You don't need to worry, Madam, I teach the subject, Humanity."

"Hahaha, is that so, okay, come in now."

Hanon entered while the students from the Public looked at him with strange eyes.

Mershen High?

'Trisha Jane, I heard from Nathan that she's a younger cousin of their temporary Boss after Boss Hark. I wonder what's the deal with her family and why Boss Hark sent me.'
