The thick water pipe is so dark that I don't know how deep it is underneath.

A super bright light emits from the wand, illuminating the surrounding area.

Harry walked along the passage.

It was so quiet here that only Harry's breathing and footsteps could be heard.

Occasionally, there was a clicking sound under the feet, which was the bones of mice being stepped on.

There are many bones of this small animal on the ground.

Until Harry saw the outline of a huge animal coiled in front of him, lying motionless on the other side of the tunnel.

But Harry was not frightened, because he only felt deathly silence, and it was a dead thing.

The light of the wand became brighter, shining on the black shadow. It was a huge snake skin, green and very bright. At first glance, it looked like the shed skin of a terrifying giant python, lying coiled on the ground of the tunnel. Inside was

Harry continued to move forward, the tunnel twisted and turned, and finally he turned another corner and came to the end.

The end was sealed by a circular metal door, with two intertwined snakes protruding from it. Their eyes were set with large, shining emeralds, as if they were alive.

"Open sesame," Harry said in a low, hoarse hiss.

The two snakes' eyes shined and they separated. The door cracked from the middle and slowly slid to both sides and disappeared.

Harry stepped in.

Inside is the secret room!

This is an empty and tall room, at least dozens of meters high. Although there are no candles, there is dim light because the stone walls of the room are mixed with some kind of luminous substance, which is enough for people to see the general appearance of the room.

The interior layout is symmetrical, with the entrance in the center of the wide side.

At a glance, there are many thick and tall stone pillars standing in two rows, supporting the high ceiling.

The stone pillars were carved with large coiled snakes. Each snake was staring at Harry.

But that's not the point.

The first thing anyone sees is a stone statue directly opposite the entrance.

It is at the very back of the stone pillar, close to the wall, and has the same height as the room.

It was a statue of a man: an old face, a long sparse beard that almost reached the hem of the wizard's robe carved in stone, and two huge feet standing on the smooth floor of the room.

This is Slytherin, one of the founders of Hogwarts.

Harry walked step by step to the Slytherin statue.

He looked up at the stone statue, knowing that the basilisk was here.

He must kill the basilisk now.

Originally, this was not part of his plan. After all, killing the basilisk would mean that everything would change. He also had to destroy Voldemort's Horcrux - the diary.

In this way, he originally wanted to record the heroic appearance of Lord Voldemort when he returned, but he proudly revealed that he was the one who opened the Chamber of Secrets, not Hagrid.

If you kill this Horcrux again, everyone will be happy.

But when he realized that the basilisk had revived, Harry suddenly thought of something he had overlooked: he could not let the basilisk spread panic freely on campus, because no one died in the original book, and only a few people died due to various reasons.

And was petrified. But Harry could not guarantee that no one would die in reality.

Harry is not that kind and selfless, but if innocent lives are killed due to his own reasons, Harry can only stop it.

So, here comes Harry.

After using an advanced transformation, Harry turned into a cat. (It's not an Animagus. I've always wondered how the transformation is so powerful. Only by learning Animagus can one turn into an animal. I understand it as a cat.

Loophole, I remember a plot where Ron turned Malfoy into a mouse.)

He quickly climbed up the mountain-like stone statue until he reached Slytherin's shoulder, then transformed and returned to his original state.

The stone statue opened its mouth, revealing a large dark hole.

Harry jumped in.
