Reborn: Rise of the Greatest Summoner

"Ugh!" Legolas groaned in pain as he finally landed.

Due to the chaotic manner through which they rushed into the rainbow bridge, the journey this time was not as pleasant as they landed in the beast plane in awkward positions, Prince Christensen's was worst.

Unable to control himself, the prince landed awkwardly and rolled on the yellow ground like a cut of yam being rolled through red oil seasoning, dirtying himself in the process as he groaned.

It took some time but prince Christensen finally recovered. He didn't just recover physically, he also recovered psychologically since the trauma of facing the giant swordmaster was still horrifyingly fresh in his mind.

Despite his trauma, he recovered first since he was the only one that didn't take part in the harrowing battle.

Prince Christensen grabbed and supported his aching waist as he stood up. He was about to complain before he remembered those who fought the battle.

His eyes widened and he turned only to see Legolas with blood all over his lips and chest. Predator casually laid at a corner nursing its severe injuries, Lucky did the same, while only Akela seemed to have the motivation to get back up.

Legolas and his 3 beasts were all injured from the encounter with the swordmaster. Seeing the deep sword wound on Legolas's chest, Prince Christensen's heart skipped a bit as he rushed closer.

"Are you ok?" He grabbed and raised Legolas up.

"I-I'm ok…" Legolas groaned as the prince held him.

"F*ck!" Legolas cursed on seeing this.

This swordmaster was just as messed-up as the game version one that he played against in his previous life.

Apart from his giant frame, his outstanding strength and incredible swordmanship, the Pugilist swordmaster was notorious due to the special attribute of his Pugilist Energy.

When attacked and injured by the swordmaster, his Pugilist Energy had a special ability like a poison to hinder recovery processes of his enemies.

Legolas hoped for that to be a game bug but he was sorely disappointed, the swordmaster was still the same giant sword freak that he hated.

He tried to stand up but the pain did not let him. "Ugh…!" He groaned again.

The more Legolas groaned; the more Prince Christensen panicked on seeing his current state. "A-are you ok?" He just kept on asking as the trauma of facing the swordmaster was triggered again.

Despite being the one that was injured, Legolas took his time to comfort and encourage the prince. "Don't worry, I'll survive and we'll make it out of this".

"To survive, I need a special herb that is not available in the beast plane".

"Beast plane?" Prince Christensen asked cluelessly, leaving Legolas flabbergasted as he stared on speechlessly.

"You're a summoner?"

"Yeah".

"You don't know the beast plane?"

"No…, is that something I should know?"

"…"

Legolas opened and closed his mouth speechlessly. "Um…, never mind".

To save his sanity, he stopped explaining to the prince for now. At this moment, he was seriously injured, his only way of surviving was getting the Queen Orb herb but this herb was incapable of growing in the beast plane.

This indirectly meant that to survive, he needed to return to Planet Darvis. The problem was that returning to the swordmaster without a plan was suicide.

Having lost a lot of blood already, Legolas felt lightheaded. This was when he remembered as he tore his shirt and used it to bandage the injury with the prince's help. After this, he started thinking.

Despite thinking for minutes, Legolas was not able to arrive at a new and better plan to survive, all the plans involved returning to get the herb.

"Damn, must I face the swordmaster again?"

Once he resigned to his fate, he started thinking of ways around it. Back in his previous world in the game, the swordmaster was notorious for a lot of things.

One of the things he was notorious for was his determination when angered.

When stuck in his hideout without setting another spawn point, that player was screwed since the swordmaster would never rest until he annihilated the enemy who angered him.

"I hope this real version of him is different".

Legolas decided to wait for a day. He hoped that after waiting that long, the swordmaster would be tired of waiting and would finally leave the location of the battlefield which was now his spawn point to return to Planet Darvis.

He checked every few hours through the rainbow bridge.

As soon as the rainbow bridge appeared, Legolas peeped through while hoping. His heart soon skipped a bit though as a pair of red eyes filled with rage glared back at him through the rainbow bridge.

"Arrogant fools! Die!"

Legolas closed the bridge as he felt tears pouring down his eyes, he cursed. "This relentless bastard!"

If the swordmaster remained there, his chances of survival were zero as even now, his health points were still reducing slowly.

At this moment, only Lucky and Predator were with him. To keep her relationship with them, Akela already returned to her previous wolf pack.

Legolas held his chin in deep thought. "Since that plan failed, my only chance of surviving now is to fight the swordmaster and win".

Just imagining it in his condition left Legolas sick but he had no choice.

"F*ck it!" He instantly started thinking of a plan.

A few minutes later, he accessed his virtual interface status.

For the past day, Blue River and Ghost Frenzy were left feeling anxious.

After the battle in the hideout, Horny Assassin finished his revive chances and was therefore logged out. As for the 2 of them, they could only return to spawn in their 1st spawn point since spawning in the hideout was suicide.

Since they did not know what happened to Legolas, they could only wait anxiously while hoping that nothing too serious happened to him.

Amid their wait, a new interface notification appeared before them.

[You have received Grade E Mission: Help the Faction Leader!]

[Mission Details: The faction leader is injured and stuck in the beast plane and requires your help. At 10:00am sharp, spawn back in the swordmaster hideout and jump into the rainbow bridge that appears.]

[Additional mission details available on completing the first requirements.]

[Mission Reward: +100 Favorability with the Faction Leader!]

On seeing this new mission, both players were thrilled as without hesitation or even looking at the rewards, they accepted it, then they waited.

An hour later when it was finally 10:00am, they both committed suicide as they turned into light particles. Instantly after they died, they made the changes to spawn in the swordmaster hideout.

"Arrogant fools! Die!"

Both players shuddered on hearing the powerful voice of the swordmaster.

Despite their fear, they remembered the instructions that were on the mission details. As soon as they appeared with the light particles, they saw the glowing rainbow bridge and without hesitation jumped into it.

The swordmaster looked in shock as the 2 players disappeared before him.

The swordmaster was furious again. "WHERE DID THEY GO TO?!"

Once the 2 players appeared, they were shocked on seeing Legolas's condition. Legolas did not waste any time as soon as they appeared.

"I have a mission for the both of you".
