Hearing the tone from her mother, Quan Hou Chi knew that Bai Gu Wen had still not changed at all. Her mother still thought that she was high and mighty.

"What is it?" Quan Hou Chi did not care anymore about her mother.

"What's with that attitude? Is this how you greet your mother whom you haven't seen for years?" Bai Gu Wen said.

"What do you want from the daughter you haven't seen for years?" Quan Hou Chi asked.

"Is this how your father taught you?" Bai Gu Wen shouted.

"Hey, don't include my father in this situation. The way I treat you has nothing to do with my father." Quan Hou Chi defended her father.

"Of course, it has everything to do with your father. He taught you everything including how to treat your mother." Bai Gu Wen argued.

"I treat you with this because I think it fits the situation." Quan Hou Chi stated."

"You!!!" Bai Gu Wen was angry.

"If you have something to say and say it. Please, I have work to do and don't have time for this. If you just want to waste my time like this, I will hang up this call." Quan Hou Chi said.

Bai Gu Wen was angry but she tried to calm up. There was a reason why she called her daughter. It was because her brother heard about something and asked her to confirm it with her daughter. She immediately called her brother and told him about this. "So, she does work at Qinyue Group." Bai Xia Fang laughed.

He wanted to investigate Qinyue Group. He wanted to know about its internal personnel. He wanted to see which talented personnel he could snatch from Qinyue Group. Since Bai Gu Wen's daughter was really working at Qinyue Group, and she was also working at the HR department, it would be easy to get information about the personnel.

However, what Bai Xia Fang did not know was that Quan Hou Chi had no plan to help him or Bai Gu Wen. She did not have any feelings toward Bai Family who kept looking down at her and her father. So, Bai Xia Fang's plan was doomed from the start.

"She called you out of the blue?" Quan De Bei asked in surprise.

"Yeah, she called me earlier." Quan Hou Chi stated.

"What did she ask you about?" Quan De Bei asked.

"She asked me whether it was true that I was working at Qinyue Group. I told her that I was just an intern here. Oh... She also asked me which department I worked at." Quan Hou Chi answered.

Quan De Bei was silent. He was thinking about the outcome that Bai Gu Wen could get from those questions. Then, he remembered something. "Hou Chi, it is probably your Uncle's order." Quan De Bei stated.

"What do you mean by that, Dad? How is this related to him?" Quan Hou Chi frowned. "He probably wants you to be his spy in Qinyue Group." Quan De Bei said.

As a person who knew Bai Xia Fang for a few years, he knew that Bai Xia Fang's business was not that clean. He used every measure that could help his company stand up among others. Seeing the Qinyue Group rose, Bai Xia Fang probably disliked to see that coming. He also did something to Qinyue Group but it did not go as he planned. "What?" Quan Hou Chi was shocked to hear her father's opinion. "Yes. It is probably his plan." Quan De Bei was sure about that after thinking about it for a while. "There is no way that I am going to be his spy." Quan Hou Chi rejected the idea.
