Reborn to Dominate Hollywood
Chapter 45
"Coffee, please," Ian said with a smile.
"Okay," Ted nodded, ordering two cups of coffee on the intercom.
"Now, while we're waiting for coffee, why don't we start talking, you're here for the script you sent us, Lucifer, right?" Ted said, leaning back in his chair.
Ian nodded, feeling much more comfortable in his seat.
"Honestly, the script is great and we would love to broadcast it on our channel, but we have some questions that we want you to clarify. The whole premise of this show is that Lucifer Morningstar is the devil himself. How sure are you that this won't be met with backlash from the evangelical and Christian communities in the United States?
Ian thought about it for a moment and said, "No, it won't, because I'm not distorting anything on the show, the theme is more about 'redemption' than anything else, and I want the public to think that if the devil himself can redeem it, so can I."
Ted nodded and said, "That's good, the other point I want to discuss is the continuity and quality of the show." We wanted to involve some of our crew and writers later in the show to keep it continuous and make the show fit the audience's wishes. "
Ian knew why he wanted this. Ian has only made one film in Hollywood. His fame as a once-miracle is still heavy in people's minds, and now most of those who deal with him want to get greater benefits from his work so that they can take control away from him when his work is less profitable. However, Ian wasn't ready to allow that.
Ian shook his head and said, "You don't have to worry about the continuity of the show, and you won't lose the quality, I've almost sketched out all the seasons, and I don't need it anymore."
This dispelled most of Ted's concerns, but he still looked a little apprehensive, and he nodded slowly: "Okay, in that case, all that's left is the investment and the actors, Leo TV is willing to invest in the show, and we're ready to fund most of the initial budget, and we're going to pay about 60% of the show budget."
Ian shook his head again and said, "That's not necessary, I've got all the start-up capital ready." I want to retain ownership, so more than 45% is unacceptable.
Ted pursed his lips, sighed helplessly, and said, "Okay, in that case, we will fund, forty percent of the initial budget of the show, and then we will send you the list of actors from our agency for you to choose." After
some time, they discussed how LeoTv would only provide Ian with actors, their distribution, and their scenes. Even if they don't fully own Lucifer, according to Ted, it's clear that they'll have shadow control over the project. Ian is clear. And, Ian is planning something completely different from the conversation.

On April 7, "La La Land" was released and entered the public eye. In short, a big win on day one. Since musicals weren't that popular, they expected to earn only $6-7 million.
But as Ian suggests, the marketing team did an excellent job. As a result, many people have become addicted to some of the songs in La La Land without watching a movie. The songs were first released on U-tube.
U-tube is an online video-sharing and social media platform in the United States. It is the second most visited website, behind Google itself. U-tube has more than 1 billion monthly users who collectively watch more than 1 billion hours of video per day, and the daily video upload rate is more than 500 hours of content per minute.
U-tube has had an unprecedented social impact, influencing pop culture and internet trends, creating multi-millionaire celebrities. Despite all its development and success, U-tube has been widely criticized. Criticisms of U-tube include the site's use to promote the spread of misinformation, copyright issues, frequent violations of its users' privacy, censorship, and endangering the safety and well-being of children.
Knowing this, Ian was very confident in his decision, and his confidence and plan proved once again to be completely successful based solely on his marketing plan. After its release, the popularity of the actor and Ian quickly climbed.
The U-tube trailer itself garnered 23 million views, which was an absolute success and a huge support for the film's later stages. The small success of the trailer can be seen from the reviews, and they are inundated with many positive reviews.
Many people applauded and appreciated how good the songs were. In fact, while the musical is a movie that some people don't like, the trailer itself talks about a lot of possible outcomes. In contrast, 13th Street itself used trailers to promote its films. It's not that bad either.
But in reality, it doesn't compete with La La Land. Not what Ian mentioned, but others who constantly compare the latest releases. They're talking about how rosy and emotional the La La La Land trailer itself looks, but "13th Street" isn't all that funny.
Reviews of a trailer that became a big moment include praise such as;
@Mendoza_Marcio
in an era filled with raucous, unoriginal, and repetitive trailers, this film is breathtaking. It's like a violinist playing in the middle of a busy street.
@Armstrong_Auspin
I wish I wasn't the only one crying while listening to the song. Bunker up!
The
subtleties of @Kint_Verbal callback scene are so powerful. Although I knew it was a musical, I didn't expect her to be staged at this point in the movie. It struck me that if she won an Oscar, it would be because of this quiet but amazing scene.
@Rojas_Faint
I can't stop watching this. The cinematography was great, and I found myself already singing the song at home. Seeing the trailer, my heart really warmed. So beautiful!
@设计设计
The cinematography in this trailer is stunning. The colors are so vibrant. In the end, one trailer didn't spoil the whole movie in 2 minutes, but it still made me want to watch it.
Even without watching or understanding the whole story, the trailer itself made many people fall in love with the movie. A few days after the trailer was released, when the hype was at its peak, the movie was released. Ever since its first screening, critics have gone crazy about the film and its performance.
It's A Movie (IAM) has garnered so many responses for La La Land, and it still seems to be the genre, with people loving it as much as they love Home Alone. If not, more.
@RhysWhat
I like musicals? Not really... But damn it, La La Land is a nostalgic, colorful, joyful miracle!
Ian Renner has received international acclaim and recognition for his masterful film Home Alone, what are his chances of achieving similar success twice in a row? Well, if La La Land makes any sense, then I would say he did the job. With just two films, Ian is slowly becoming the next big man in the film industry. His passion for classic films and musicals is palpable, so it makes me happy to see a nod to it.
The chemistry between Gosling and Elois is strong, and their strong relationship has helped them become the finest couple in modern cinema, to say the least. The music is upbeat and engaging, and the cinematography is stunning with gorgeous colors and impressive long shots, locations that sum up the American Dream and the characters' passion for Los Angeles. La La Land is by far one of the best cinematic experiences I've had in the last five to ten years, and while it's not a film I usually enjoy (genre-wise), Ian has made one of my favorite films of the decade. I would recommend everyone to go to the cinema and watch a movie to really witness the magic of widescreen technology.
@长篇小说
I don't want to ruin the experience of anyone who is reading this, but there are some things that should be said out loud. La La Land, as it advertises, pays homage to classic musicals. Not only does it visually suggest the film (the old musical), but it also retains those classic upbeat, wonderful tones. It's a great thing to see that tone and style recreated for a modern film. The film is completely devoid of cynicism and pretentiousness, and is replaced by nostalgia and joy.
But to call La La Land a brilliant recreation of a classic movie musical is to sell it short. On the surface, it's a love story about two artists trying to break through in Los Angeles. However, this framework is deceptively simple.
La La Land forces us to think about the realities of human relationships and artistic creation. It explores the excitement of our dreams and the hardships of pursuing them, and forces viewers to question the importance of both. Luckily, Ian never looked down on the audience with these thoughts. They don't present in a harsh way, and he never forces you to think a certain way.
In addition to being thematically rich, La La Land is one of the best understandings I've seen in recent years about cinema as a storytelling medium. On the surface, it's the most technologically shocking. The cinematography is stunning and the soundtrack is beautiful. Even better, neither the visuals nor the soundtrack are used in a superficial or uninteresting way. La La Land understands how stories are told visually. It understands the power of order, the emotional impact of powerful images on stories, and the ways in which these images simultaneously indulge in our fantasies and remind us of humanity.
In other words, for me, it embodies everything I love about cinema.
Everyone can recall some examples of feeling in the cinema what I like to call "movie magic". These are inspired by films that have completely absorbed us into its world, and films that have had a lasting impact on us, far beyond the theater. They're the films that we think make movies so great.
"La La Land" is one of those films.
The only time I wanted to take my eyes off the screen during the 128 minutes of play time was to turn to the people around me to see if they were experiencing the same magic as me. I'm sure everyone I saw at the theater was.
La La Land is a masterpiece. Not only is it the best movie of 2018 so far, but it may be one of the best films of the decade. It's spectacular, it's shocking, it's moving, and it's absolutely magical.

Two long replies are enough for Ian to feel good about his job.
