Growl!

Qin Hua turned her head to look at Guan Ye, her bloodshot eyes laced with rage and sadness. She looked at him and then looked back at the two unconscious slumbering bodies on the couch.

"Do you… Do you want me to take care of them?" Guan Ye hesitantly asked because even he was starting to feel a bit wary of the fierce beast.

Qin Hua nodded her head up and down.

And then right in front of everyone's bulging eyes, her body split into two, two identical dogs now standing in front of them instead of just one.

One animal had a set of green and blue orbs while the other dog had flaming violet eyes.

Qin Hua let out another roar before her main body disappeared from sight and the shadow clone walked over to protectively settle in front of Lu Chen and Su Yan.

Though she had also asked Guan Ye to guard them, she couldn't bring herself to trust him completely.

She had only let her guard down for a moment and already she had lost so much. She didn't want to lose the rest of whatever she had once again.

Qin Hua slipped out from under the metal barricade using the microscopic patch of darkness underneath and popped her head out to see what was creating the ruckus.

Whatever it was, it had surely chosen a bad time to grab her attention.

But the moment Qin Hua peeked outside… she instantly froze…

Outside their apartment complex, an entire mob or rather herd of mana zombies roared and bellowed, a lot of them gathered together. They were beating down on the metal barricade and the building's walls clearly wanting to tear it down.

To make matters worse, more and more seemed to be walking in the same direction towards their building, slowly joining the group one by one.

The number of zombies outside the complex even exceeded a hundred.

Qin Hua blinked, only a part of her body hanging outside from under the door. She stood still gazing at the chaotic scene in front of her.

And just as she did, as if sensing her presence several heads simultaneously turned towards her.

KARAKA ROAR!!!

A loud noise rumbled and the zombies started snarling and shouting and running towards her. They were not particularly strong but their sheer numbers were threatening to say the least.

But Qin Hua was not in the least shaken. She continued to stand still, facing the mob, showing no signs of retreat.

Her canines snapped and she let out an equally powerful and loud growl. Her paws clawed into the ground reflecting her resoluteness.

Without another moment of hesitation, her huge pitch-black body leaped out from within the darkness and into the ferocious mob of mana crazed human beings.

Roar!

Qin Hua let out a loud growl and fully let herself go. Channeling all of her guilt, anger, and regret, she pummeled everything in sight.

Her paws clawed whatever she could find, her teeth ground flesh and blood splattered left and right.

Every time her body moved something got squished under her and experience points continuously rained.

She was like a ball of destruction that rolled through the crowd, massacring her way through the madness.

Her stamina was low. Her brain was tired. She was panting heavily but she kept going.

Others might have been terrified to see something like this but to her, this was a mere stepping stone for pumping her strength and power.

If she had been strong enough, Su Yan would have never gotten so injured. If she had been fast enough, Lu Chen would not have been mentally attacked.

Qin Hua did not even notice that her eyes were glassy and tears were threatening to spill out. She howled in rage and went all out on a rampage.

And how could mere humans, with their features only barely enhanced, withstand her full on assault?

The huge herd of zombies could barely put up a fight against her and the numbers quickly dwindled.

In the matter of a few minutes, she even leveled up twice, clearing the entire zone from top to bottom.

Only a handful of the zombies remained and these seemed slightly more powerful and resistant to her one-sided bullying.

Qin Hua panted seeing the last five zombies standing in front of her.

Without giving her a second to catch her breath, one zombie lobed a huge fireball at her.

Another zombie on the right had five hands and an unusually thick body and legs. Blood vessels popped out of its muscular body and it dashed towards the dog letting out a deafening roar.

As if this was not enough, from the corner of her eyes Qin Hua could also see three green skinned creatures sneaking towards her.
