How they'd choose to handle the situation would determine if a little war would take place there or not.

..Would they control their temper? Well, let's see.

The current situation was already worrying Ethan, he didn't want a war to take place here. After all the dangers they've passed through to get to the Mepaidian Kingdom and this kingdom, this is what they are getting?

This paying of tributes was supposed to be peaceful stuff...now, look at what was happening 'cause of the king. None of them put their swords back in, knights and warriors from the Tuvalon Kingdom were still holding their swords pointing them to the knights of the Chuvulan Kingdom.

And knights of the Chuvulan Kingdom were doing the same, their swords were in their hands pointing them to the knights and warriors of the Tuvalon Kingdom.

On a normal day, and both kingdoms were prepared, if a war was to ensue, the Chuvulan Kingdom would be victorious over the Tuvalon Kingdom.

..That's why the Tuvalon Kingdom was paying tributes to them, they were stronger than them currently.

"Is this what you want?". Ethan inquired of the king glancing directly at him.

"The question is supposed to be directed to you guys, is this what you want? If you'd simply agreed to what I told you, then all these wouldn't be happening". The king stated.

..What came over this king? He was pretty annoying. Yes, that's the thoughts running through the minds of the knights and warriors of the Tuvalon Kingdom.

If not for one thing, they'd have loved to end his life here, he was f**king annoying...he keeps standing his ground about wanting times two of the goods when next they come to pay tributes to this kingdom.

"So should the fight ensue?". Ethan inquired of the king.

"If that's what you want". The king responded.

As of this moment, the armies of the Tuvalon Kingdom were more many than the armies of the Chuvulan Kingdom. Armies of the Tuvalon Kingdom consisted of both knights and warriors currently.

But armies of the Chuvulan Kingdom consisted of only knights currently. So if they fight, the armies of the Tuvalon Kingdom have a higher chance of coming out victorious.

Ethan had to laugh at that moment, then his voice resounded again,

"Do you think you guys would be able to come out victorious if we fight now?".

The king didn't say anything, a smirk only appeared on his face. And at that moment, more knights of the Chuvulan Kingdom started appearing.

Now, not like they were appearing like people with supernatural powers, no, that wasn't the case at all. They were walking out of a certain side and joining the current knights.

And as they were adding up, so they were increasing until they outnumbered the armies of the Tuvalon Kingdom. Both the knights and warriors combined, they still outnumbered them.

And the armies of the Tuvalon Kingdom were so surprised at that moment...how did they get the information about the current situation before they started appearing?

..Or wait, has this been planned before? Seems like it's been planned before.

Maybe the king knew something like this would happen when he'd ask for an increase in the tributes, so he had already planned this ahead of time. Everything was based on probability though.

But with the current number of the knights of the Chuvulan Kingdom, they'd come out victorious if a fight was to ensue right now.

Ethan just stood there glancing at them, he didn't know what to do, he was pretty confused at this moment. And that was the same case for the other knights and warriors including the head warriors.

"So, should the fight still ensue?". The king inquired of them with that smirk still plastered to his face.

"Can't we just solve this peacefully?". Another head warrior voiced out.

"That's exactly what I want, I want peace, I don't want war to ensue. You guys would just have to do as I'm telling you, I want the tributes to be doubled the next time you'd be coming to deliver them to us, report this to your king,

That's all I'm asking for, I don't want war to ensue". The king said.

"So, you don't plan on changing your mind?". A certain knight of the Tuvalon Kingdom voiced out.

"No, I don't plan on changing it. I mean, you guys have been paying a certain amount of tributes to this kingdom for years now, no complaints, nothing, everything has been going peacefully,

Now, I'm asking for an increase in the tributes after years, is that too much to ask for?". The king stated once again.

'This king is pretty annoying'. A certain warrior thought to himself.

And he wasn't the only one, the other knights and warriors felt the same. Like, things have been going smoothly for years now, but he suddenly decided to become annoying, he suddenly decided to change his mind.

The knights and warriors of the Tuvalon Kingdom glanced at each other. At this point, if a little war was to take place, the knights of the Chuvulan Kingdom would come out victorious.

So battling them wasn't part of the plan at all, this they were aware of. The king was pretty annoying which suddenly happened, but they'd have to agree to his request.

The plan was to go through the stress of journeying back to their kingdom and deliver the news to their king to see his reaction. Would he agree to it or would he not?

..Yes, with his reaction, they'd know what to do next.

But as for now, engaging in that little battle wasn't a good idea at all, they'd definitely lose. They understood all these things just by glancing at each other.

With their facial expressions, they'd already known what conclusion they were to come to. The ones that drew out their swords from their scabbards began putting them back in.

Then Ethan's voice resounded, "We've heard you, we'd deliver the news to our king. His reaction would determine what would happen next. But I want you to know something".

"And what is that?". The king inquired with a bit of inquisitive facial expression.

"You messed up really badly, what you're doing now is just a really big mess up. Everything was going smoothly, but you decided to ruin it". Ethan said.

The king began laughing, and after he was done laughing, this was the utterance that flowed out of his mouth...

"Just deliver my message to your king. And he should better agree to it, advice him to. Why? 'Cause him not agreeing to it would lead to something else".

One of the knights wanted to tell him, 'You're nuts', but he just held himself. Ethan shook his head a little, there was nothing more to talk about with this king, they should start leaving this kingdom.

He glanced at the other knights and warriors and gave them the look of, 'We have to leave now, there's nothing more we can do'.

They all understood the look, and immediately, they began mounting their different horses, it was about time to ride out of the Chuvulan Kingdom.

Before mounting their different horses, many of them glanced at the king disgustingly. But there was no reaction from him, in fact, he was even smiling a little while they were giving him the disgusting look.

..All he knew was that they should reach their kingdom and relay the information to their king.

After mounting their different horses, they began riding out of the Chuvulan Kingdom.

******

After all it took the knights and warriors of the Tuvalon Kingdom to get to the Chuvulan Kingdom, that's what they got...ungratefulness and greediness.

The king of the Chuvulan Kingdom did not only not appreciate them for the efforts they put in to deliver the goods to their kingdom, he was even asking for more tributes the next time they'd be visiting their kingdom.

..He suddenly became annoying.

They got to the Mepaidian Kingdom, delivered the goods, and things went smoothly. The king even gave them accommodation for that night and also something to eat.

He didn't dare request for more tributes the next time they'd be coming to pay tributes to his kingdom...

..Can you see that? So different from the king of the Chuvulan Kingdom.

Well, they were on their way back to the Tuvalon Kingdom, and once they get there, they'd deliver the news to the king and see what his reaction would be like.

Now, their journey back to the Tuvalon Kingdom wasn't a smooth one. They came across wild dogs again and some other dangerous animals, but surprisingly...they didn't come across a single magical beast.

The wild animals didn't cause any damage. None of them were killed, none of them were injured, none of the horses were killed, none of the carriages were destroyed.

Instead, it was the wild animals that were eliminated by the knights and warriors. And them not coming across a single magical beast made things easier...

..They were able to have a smoother journey back to the Tuvalon Kingdom.
