The whole body above the porch is hollowed out to increase the sense of spatial hierarchy.

The shoe cabinet is made below, and a few small benches can be placed inside through the pull-out design.

In this way, when the family enters the door, they can sit and change shoes and socks at the entrance.

If you have leisure and elegance, you can also place two pots of green plants in the porch.

Entering from the porch is the living room.

The living room of the old house was blocked by two bedrooms, so there was almost no lighting in the living room.

In this design, Li Yueming removed two bedrooms from the windows.

Then set the living room next to the window.

This ensures maximum ventilation and lighting in the room.

Because there are load-bearing beams on both sides, Li Yueming has no plans to open windows in other places.

The bedroom of the old man and the old lady was divided into the original living room by Li Yueming.

The old man sleeps relatively lightly and cannot hear too loud sounds.

Therefore, it is not suitable to live near the road.

Moreover, the legs and feet are not convenient, and it is not suitable for climbing stairs.

So Li Yueming can only be arranged on the first floor.

In order to ensure that the room can also be illuminated.

Li Yueming set up a large window, and designed the whole living room into a fan shape.

The two windows are at the fan-shaped leaves, and the bedrooms of the two elderly people are located at the heart of the fan.

This not only ensures the spaciousness and brightness of the living room, but also allows sunlight to shine into the room.

Not only that, Li Yueming also opened a patio between the porch and the house.

In the absence of a way to drill holes into the load-bearing wall, a patio leading directly to the roof is undoubtedly the best source of lighting.

And the location of the patio Li Yueming didn't waste a bit of space.

A staircase with a suspended ceiling leads to the second floor of the room.

Because the heavy ceiling can be removed, the floor height of the entire old house was increased from the original 2.7 meters to 3 meters.

Li Yueming made a partition between the living room and the attic.

Not only that, but also designed a split-level space, so as to ensure that the two floors have enough height for people to move around.

Upstairs is the room of Wang Fang and his wife and their little granddaughter who is in kindergarten.

Because the roof is a triangle.

Therefore, there is still a floor height of more than two meters between the top of the highest beam and the elevated floor in the middle.

The left and right sides of this place were built into bedrooms.

All the way up the stairs, the granddaughter and Wang Fang live in the opposite door.

Three bedrooms and one living room are arranged.

Li Yueming also added billions of details on the design drawings.

Outside the bedroom of grandparents on the first floor is the toilet and washroom.

The sewage outlets that existed in the original old houses were used.

In the relatively low areas on both sides of the second floor, Li Yueming designed the washroom and drying room there.

This sewage pipe Li Yueming plans to re-plan, and all the sewage on the second floor will be discharged into the municipal pipe through another PVC pipe.

For the location of the patio, Li Yueming also planned a small balcony.

On the north side near the road is the washroom and toilet.

On the south side, a small corridor is installed beside the patio where the view of the old city can be seen.

Pushing the door outside the corridor is the balcony installed on the roof.

In their spare time, the family can also drink tea on it, bask in the sun, and enjoy the fresh air outside.

When not in use, close the glass door tightly to isolate the indoor and outdoor hustle and bustle.

As for the kitchen and dining room, designed by Li Yueming on the first floor.

Such a space of more than ten square meters was abruptly covered by him with two floors.
