A New Year’s letter to book friends

Say goodbye to the old and welcome the new, and have good luck in the Year of the Rabbit in 2023!

I wish every reader a prosperous new year!

To be honest, the original intention of conceiving this book is really full of passion. There is no outline and no specific direction. The accumulation of each word is the emergence of inspiration, improvised, and with a lonely and persistent heart, I move forward bravely.

As a new author, I really don’t know much, so I asked my colleagues and editors for advice. I have been groping little by little until now, stumbling and wanting to give up many times. But by some strange coincidence, I am now here.

What is supporting it until now?

I can't tell you clearly either.

Maybe it's a dream.

Maybe it's stubbornness.

It may also be that someone is not optimistic about it (that is, it is quite unoptimistic, nagging and criticizing in the ear every day, asking to give up as soon as possible.)

An achievement like this would have been achieved long ago by any other author.

The bitterness in it does not need to be pretentious.

Think of it as experiencing, honing and training yourself.

After all, this is my first time, and there are many things I am lacking and need to learn.

For example, the growth and background of the heroine are not prominent enough, and the characterization is not clear enough. Even after many supporting characters were written, they did not play the role that supporting characters should have. This is the disadvantage of not having an outline. In addition, the author's lack of experience makes many vivid characters

The interesting story lacks soul, which makes the whole book seem like a bland narrative without many breaking points.

All shortcomings and flaws are kept in mind, turning them into seeds of experience that will shine for future creations.

The direction and setting of this book cannot be changed. Letting it have a beginning and an end can be regarded as an explanation of my first creation.

Persistence does not necessarily mean victory, but perseverance is necessary. Only when you have a beginning and an end can you be consistent.

In the past six months, I have read many classic works by senior writers, regardless of genre. As long as they are well written, I have read them. I have carefully studied their creative techniques, how to set the story frame and direction, and how to use language perfectly.

Express what you are thinking and learn a lot from it...

The outline of the second book is being conceived, and I believe that with the accumulation of experience in the past, it will get better and better in the future.
