Reverse Growth Superstar

: Seventy-nine: Physical fitness is not a problem

On January 7, 2011, the Memphis Grizzlies welcomed their old rival Utah Jazz again at home.

Now, the contradiction between Deron and Sloan has fully erupted. Because of the conflict between these two top figures, the Jazz have been one of the teams most reported in the news media recently.

It is said that the Jazz have been carefully considering whether to keep Jerry Sloan or Deron Williams. Although the Jazz definitely wanted the two to continue to live in peace, this is now a luxury.

Under the premise of discord within the Jazz, Lionel Hollins’ goal today is naturally to win. After 18 wins and 17 losses in a six-game winning streak, the Grizzlies have surpassed the Rockets to become the ninth in the Western Conference. The Hornets, who are eighth in the West, are still three wins away.

3 victories, less and no less. The Grizzlies must stabilize their momentum to surpass as quickly as possible. And defeating the Jazz in the midst of an infighting is the only goal of the Grizzlies today.

Before today's game started, Randolph discovered that Link was holding a marker and writing something on his sneakers.

Yesterday, Link found a total of 20 pairs of new sneakers in the box! And many other miscellaneous equipment. He brought only two of them to the game today, and the others were handed over to the equipment manager. From now on, the team equipment manager will help him fix those things.

Looking at Link writing and drawing on the new sneakers with a pen, Randolph leaned in curiously.

But after taking a look, Randolph, who has always been troubled, didn't bother. Because he saw that the words Link wrote on the side of the shoe were exactly the same as those on his old sneakers.

   says, "Rest in peace, Zick."

Link with brand new Nike equipment performed well in this game, Kirilenko and Hayward did not cause Link too much trouble. After all, one of the peaks of these two men has passed, and they have not yet reached the peak. Link was caught in this middle period, and he was able to open his bow right and left.

In the whole game, Deron Williams refused to implement Jerry Sloan's tactics. Sloan asked the respected Raja Bell to remind Deron several times, but to no avail.

Delong completely released himself today. He took 13 shots in the game, but only hit 4 goals. He scored the Jazz's second-highest 19 points, but his shooting percentage was only 30.8%.

Even the commentators who commented on the game shook their heads regretfully, "The Jazz did not lose to others this year, but they are likely to lose to themselves."

Although not all players in the Grizzlies team like each other, at least they have not yet turned against each other. In the end, the fairly united Grizzlies defeated the Utah Jazz for the second time at home with a 111-99 victory.

Randolph and Gay continued to move high. Gay scored a game-high 28 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and sent 4 assists. He made 3 of 3 three-pointers, and his overall shooting percentage was as high as 57.1%. It was one of Gay's best games this season.

Randolph has 26 points and 11 rebounds.

Because Guy played very well today, Link did not play much time. But in the limited time, Link still scored 13 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds, and his performance was still pretty good. You know, Kirilenko and Hayward add up to only 14 points.

It’s just that Guy is in such a good state. Link wants to return to the starting lineup. It's probably very difficult. Link stimulated Guy's sense of crisis, and Guy continued to stimulate Link with his superstar-level performance. It can be said that the two have fallen into a virtuous circle.

After a battle with the Jazz, the Grizzlies flew to Oklahoma and played back-to-back away games.

Speaking of it, this year the Grizzlies have played back-to-back enough. Link doesn't know if a weak team has no human rights. Anyway, he feels that a team like the Lakers can never play so many back-to-back games in a row.

Since this game was played in Oklahoma, Link also seemed to be back at home. All members of the blue team arrived at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, home of the Thunder today, to cheer for Link. In the stands of the arena, Link also found many fans holding their heads.

But unfortunately, Link’s "journey home" was not warm. The intensive back-to-back schedule made the Grizzlies players very tired, and the Thunder have been eager for revenge since the last time they lost to the Grizzlies, so they played very fiercely today.

Kevin Durant did not continue to draw five or five against Gay this time, but instead made crazy shots for 24 times and scored a game-high 40 points with a shooting rate of 54.2%!

Yes, 40 points. Linke found it difficult to score 52 points in the Development League before. But Durant, who broke out casually, scored 40 points in the NBA.

Have to say, this makes Link really realize the gap between ordinary players and superstars. Rudy Gay played well today, but he only scored 20 points. And he himself only scored 15 points under the tight defense of the Thunder.

So it's true that Link kept pushing himself every day. Don't always think that you are already strong, because there is no shortage of strong people in the NBA.

In Oklahoma, this is the end of the Grizzlies’ seven-game winning streak. 109 to 105, the Grizzlies unfortunately defeated the Thunder. Since joining the Grizzlies, Link also ushered in his first defeat.

After the game, the media not only surrounded Durant, who had scored 40 points, but also focused on Link.

"How do you feel after the magical halo fades?"

"In this game, the Grizzlies were completely suppressed by the opposing superstar. What do you think of UU reading www.uukanshu.com?"

"Do you think the Grizzlies will get back on track? Or is the sweet moment over."

Facing the reporters' questions, Link looked dazed. Although my performance today wasn't that amazing, but it didn't slow down anyhow. Losing the ball is the responsibility of the whole team. What does it mean that my magical aura fades.

Facing these mentally handicapped questions, Link didn’t bother to answer. He casually said a few words of flattery and left the crowd. I hope that in the future, Rachel will not be as mentally retarded as those reporters...

The defeat in this game still caused the Grizzlies and Link to be attacked by some reporters. The basketball game is like this. Although you have won 7 consecutive games before, as long as you lose, the guys who hate you will stand up.

Especially Link, people say that this will be the beginning of his magical trend toward mediocrity.

Grizzlies coach Hollins is also a headache. He doesn't believe in any nonsense that Link will become mediocre, but the next game in Charlotte worried him very much.

Because there is only one day off after today's game, the team will go to Charlotte to play away. Today, the team's physical problems have caused the Grizzlies to lose. In the next game, with almost no rest time, Hollins really didn't know what would happen to the team.

Losing is a trivial matter. If someone is injured because of an overdraft, it will be more than a loss.

But Link is full of confidence in the next game. He never fears back-to-back matches, nor is he afraid of tight schedules. After all, before gaining Hill's ability, physical fitness was one of Link's best attributes.

Physical fitness is never a problem for Link. The magical aura will not fade away, it's just a nap...
