Rise of Empires: Spain

Chapter 1 People who shouldn't be alive

"Carlo, where are you?"

A shout from the top of the luxurious palace interrupted Carlo's thoughts and pulled his soul back to this real world.

"I'm here, father." Carlo responded quickly.

"Thank God, my child, are you feeling better?" Just a few minutes later, the voice came from far away, and the owner of the voice was already behind Carlo.

Carlo turned around slightly, still a little bit unbelievable at this time.

The middle-aged man in front of him, who looked luxuriously dressed, turned out to be his biological father in this body, the current ruler of the famous Savoy Dynasty, and the first king of unified Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II.

"It's better now. The medicine the doctor gave me is very effective." Carlo nodded honestly, but he was thinking about how to talk to this unfamiliar father.

Vittorio Emanuele II did not care about Carlo's complicated thoughts, but touched Carlo's head lovingly and said earnestly: "It's okay, child. Although Edonne is gone, you still have us, right?"

Edonne is the third son of Vittorio Emanuele II, and he was awarded the title of Duke of Monferrato as soon as he was born.

In Carlo's memory, this brother was very good to Carlo, and his relationship was far better than that of his two older brothers.

But unfortunately, when Carlo's soul came to this world, Edonne, Duke of Monferrato, was terminally ill and died soon.

Because of the extremely poor medical level of this era, the cause of Edonne's death was not found out.

As a prince, he died in such an unclear way, which also made Carlo a little afraid of this real world.

For an ordinary person who has experienced advanced technology and society, it is really a torture to experience the technology and life 160 years ago in person.

Even though Carlo was Vittorio Emanuele II's favorite son and the prince of the newly established Kingdom of Italy, he could not offset this bad feeling.

Seeing that Carlo was still silent, Vittorio Emanuele II touched Carlo's head again, forced a smile, and said: "It will be fine, everything will be fine, child.

I will not allow anything to take you away from me, not even God. Adelheid and I will protect you, you will be fine, I promise you."

For Vittorio Emanuele II, who was famous for his piety to God, such a promise was obviously from the heart and sincere.

Carlo naturally knew the reputation of Vittorio Emanuele II, and he had no rejection of this cheap father who cared about him very much.

"I'm much better, father. Thank you for your concern, I'm fine now." Carlo said.

"That's good, child. May God bless you, and I will accompany you." Vittorio Emanuele II touched Carlo's head again, and then signaled the maid beside him to help Carlo back to the room.

Although Vittorio Emanuele II had six sons in history (only those born to Queen Adelheid), only two of them did not die young, which can be regarded as a case of many children but few blessings.

Except for Prince Odone who died young at the age of nearly 20, the remaining three children who died young died unexpectedly in infancy.

Although Vittorio Emanuele II lost one less son in this world because of Carlo's arrival, the continuous loss of sons in middle age also made Vittorio Emanuele II cherish family affection.

Carlo, the youngest son, was the most favored by Vittorio Emanuele II. He was born as the noble Duke of Chablais. His property included a large amount of land, several castles and manors, and hundreds of servants waiting to serve Carlo at any time.

When Vittorio Emanuele II didn't know what to think, Carlo had been helped into the room by two maids.

Looking at the two maids, pure and beautiful on the left and attractive on the right, Carlo swallowed the words that were about to come out of his mouth.

Although monogamy is prevalent in the West, mistress is not a strange word for nobles of noble status.

Especially for the top of the nobility, as long as Carlo is willing, girls who want to become Carlo's mistress can line up from Florence, the capital of Italy, to Turin, the northwestern city.

At least on this point, Carlo is willing to admit that the world 160 years ago still had some fun.

Of course, mistresses are just a tacit enjoyment among nobles, and they are generally not made public.

For top nobles, maids are of course a safer choice than mistresses, and they are also trustworthy in terms of loyalty.

Especially for some aristocrats in their teens, maids are more suitable for enlightenment education, and are also the first choice for most European aristocrats to educate their children.

The two maids serving Carlo were the enlightenment chosen by Vittorio Emanuele II for Carlo. They combined the characteristics of purity and sexiness, and they were all very beautiful.

At first, Carlo enjoyed the massage of the two, but the pleasure in the middle and lower parts instantly brought Carlo back to his senses. Turning around, Anna, who looked pure and lovely, had already put her hand into Carlo's pants and was quietly teasing.

"Okay, Anna." Carlo patted Anna's head, looked at Anna's little eyes blinking as she raised her head, and finally smiled: "It's not allowed there yet."

"Okay." Anna nodded slightly disappointedly after hearing this, and her hand left a certain place.

"I want to be alone for a while." After enjoying the skilled massage of the two maids, Carlo finally relaxed a little and told the two women.

Soon, the two maids left the room, leaving Carlo alone lying in the room in deep thought.

Carlo reluctantly accepted the fact that he had traveled to this era. At least as a noble, there are still many ways to enjoy, which is much better than the hard life in the future.

But the problem is that although the monarchy is still the mainstream in the world, it can only last for a few decades.

When the First and Second World Wars broke out one after another, it would have dealt a heavy blow to the monarchy around the world, and the monarchy countries would almost disappear from people's sight.

In the future, except for the United Kingdom, a monarchy where the monarchy power is almost in name only, people know very little about monarchies, and can't even think of a few monarchies that still exist.

The Republic of Italy, where Carlo lived, had to wait until after World War II to realize its republic. However, when Mussolini was in power, the power and status of the Italian royal family were already in jeopardy, and it was only a matter of a word from Mussolini to abolish it.

Although I don't know how he traveled through time, since he has started a new life and has such a high starting point, Carlo naturally has greater ambitions.

In order to take control of his future destiny, Carlo has a new plan.
