Chapter 27 Castle

At night, Cowen was photographed and woken up by Penello because he fell asleep unknowingly in the car. After all, it was the first time he took this old-fashioned train, and the swaying feeling was too easy to cause sleepiness. I mean.

"Well...are we there yet?" Kewen raised his eyes and glanced at the dark night outside the window, got up and stretched and asked.

"We're at Hogsmeade Station." Penello said while sorting out the folds on the magic robe, "There's still a long way to go before Hogwarts, let's get off the bus quickly."

"How did you know?" Kewen was puzzled, and at the same time took out his wand and pointed to Penello: "Clean it up."

In an instant, the robes on Penello's body became as neat as new.

"Thank you, put on your robes quickly." Penello urged: "Hurry up, you have to go down to gather. When you were sleeping, the conductor came to inform you."

"Okay." Cowen put away his wand, opened the suitcase and took out the wizard's robe.

He quickly put the robe on his body, and after closing the box, Kewen picked up two large suitcases, one in each hand.

"Oh, I forgot to say it." Penello slapped his forehead quickly when he saw this: "You don't need to take the salute. The conductor said it's fine to put it on the car. Someone will help us deliver the salute to the academy."

"Oh, okay." Cowen let go, put the suitcase down again, looked at the two owl cages and asked, "Don't you need owls?"

"No, let's get out of the car." Penello said, reaching out, holding Kewen's hand, and walking outside the compartment.

Following the flow of people, Cowen and Penello got off the train when a loud voice came from a distance.

"New students come to me!"

Kewen turned his head to look at the locomotive, and saw a short and stout witch with a wand in her throat, using the 'loud voice' magic to keep repeating: "The freshmen are coming to my side!"

"Wow, that person's voice is so loud." Penello whispered in surprise.

"The spell effect, that's Professor Pomona Sprout." Kewen knew him, so he leaned into Penello's ear and explained, "He's a professor of herbal medicine, and he's also the dean of Hufflepuff College. ."

"You know?" Penello asked.

"Basically, I know all the professors at Hogwarts College." Ke Wen nodded, and then walked forward while holding Penello, "During the holidays, the professors often take freshmen to the wand shop, Austrian Levander introduced us."

While speaking, the two had come to Professor Pomona Sprout. Because there were more than a dozen freshmen gathered around, the two of Kewen did not squeeze through the crowd to the front.

But even so, Professor Pomona Sprout also saw Kewen and nodded to Kewen with a smile.

With a polite smile, Kewen also nodded to Professor Spoutrow as a greeting.

"Okay, okay. Let me count." After a while, Professor Spoutlaw stopped calling, looked at the group of little wizards in front of him, and began to count.

Soon after the count was finished, Professor Spoutrow smiled and nodded: "Very good, the number is correct, the new students are all here, and then follow me, children, understand?"

The voices of different responses sounded one after another, and Professor Spoutlaw didn't care, raised his hand to support the old wizard hat with patches on his head, and turned to lead the way.

After leaving the station, there was a huge inland lake in the distance. Along the uneven dirt road, a group of people came down to the lake under the leadership of Professor Spoutlaw.

"Okay kids, we're here." Professor Spoutlaw pointed to the lake: "Now line up, everyone will get in the wooden boats, and each boat will have a maximum of five people."

The freshmen lined up obediently to board the boat. Because Cowen and Penello walked last, when it was their turn to board the boat, there were only two of them on the small wooden boat.

As Professor Spoutlaw sat on a small canoe alone, all the canoes started slowly one after another, led by the canoe where Professor Spoutlaw was, heading towards the interior of the lake.

Each wooden boat has a wooden pole with an oil lamp hanging on the top of the wooden pole.

Cowen took over the job and didn't use spells like the Levitation Charm, because there were so many new beings nearby, and he didn't want to show off his magical abilities.

The canoe drove slowly, more than ten minutes passed, and after passing through a low stone bridge hole, the surrounding was no longer pitch black, and there was a faint light in the distance ahead.

Because of the mist on the lake, everyone could not see the scene of the light coming from the place. It was not until the canoe drove for another ten minutes that everyone could see the source of the light completely.

It was a huge castle, built on a cliff, and the orange lights, shining through the large and small windows of the castle, reflected the dim color of the lake ahead.

"Wow..." Penello stared straight at the castle in front of him and couldn't help exclaiming.

At the same time, all kinds of exclamations sounded from the surrounding small wooden boats. Immediately, the originally quiet environment was completely broken, and the freshmen on each ship couldn't help but start discussions about the castle.

Cowen didn't care that much about castles. It was just a castle, and it wasn't worth his surprise. But he couldn't bear the excitement of Penello beside him, so he had to echo two sentences perfunctorily.

After a while, the discussion gradually subsided, and the canoe traveled for more than ten minutes before finally reaching the shore.

Ashore, the freshmen were led by Professor Spoutlaw, left the pier, walked across the road, and finally came under the castle.

After entering the main entrance, the front is not the castle hall, but two more stairs, and then stopped in front of a huge carved wooden door.

"Thank you for your hard work, Pomona." In front of the door, Professor McGonagall nodded to Professor Spoutlaw with an old-fashioned and serious look.

"Yes, then I'll go first." Professor Spoutlaw responded, "I'll hand the children over to you next."

"Well, let's go in." Professor McGonagall said, his eyes swept across the faces of the sixty-two freshmen quickly, and his eyes also stayed on Kewen's face for a moment.

"Welcome to Hogwarts..." Professor McGonagall delivered a speech, then explained the branching matters that freshmen would face next, and briefly explained the rules of the academy.

When Professor McGonagall finished speaking, Penello whispered in Cowen's ear: "I'm really looking forward to the future college life. By the way, Cowen, do you know how to separate colleges?"

"I don't know, I asked a lot of people, but they didn't tell me." Kewen shook his head and replied in a low voice...
