Sherlock Holmes at Hogwarts

The book will be available on February 1st, a Saturday, which is the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.

As a newbie author, this is a very exciting moment (√^*)).

As I mentioned in the author's notes in the previous chapters, everyone has been busy celebrating the New Year, and not many people are reading.

I originally thought about taking this opportunity to quietly release the book without anyone noticing, but then I realized that would be deceiving myself, so I gave up on that idea.

If I dare to speak, then I'll say a bit more.

Let's get back to the main topic.

When I finished my previous Three Kingdoms book, I actually had two directions for the new book.

One was to continue with the historical theme and write 'A Dou穿越宋高宗' [A Dou Travels to the Southern Song Dynasty].

The other is the one you're seeing now, 'Sherlock Holmes at Hogwarts'.

I was actually more inclined to write the former, since it was still history, and the protagonist was A Dou, which in a sense would continue the Three Kingdoms theme, with a high degree of reader overlap.

However, man proposes, God disposes.

In the first half of last year, I was arranged by my company to go abroad, and I couldn't write for a long time.

The plan was suddenly disrupted.

After thinking about it, I simply gave up on history and switched to writing fantasy.

Although this is a big change of direction, it was a good opportunity to gather materials abroad.

After returning from gathering materials abroad and dealing with the accumulated work, I waited a long time before starting to prepare the new book. As a part-time author, it's not easy to insist on writing five or six thousand words every day.

So, I had to make sufficient preparations.

As a result, the book wasn't published until the end of last year.

I wonder how many of my old readers are still around (√/).

As a newbie, I'm well aware that the results before and after the book goes live are two different things.

So... it's the New Year, you're already here, think of me as a child, it's not easy for anyone, please subscribe!

I also know that some readers just like to read for free, and they're masters of using the 'I'll definitely subscribe next time' routine.

It's not that they don't have money, they just prefer it that way.

Normally, I should be trying to sell my sob story at this point.

But I really can't bring myself to do it.

After all, I've already said in the author's notes for the previous books that I have a stable job as a part-time writer.

I got married before the age of thirty, and my married life is harmonious.

My parents are healthy, and my younger sister was admitted to a local university and can come home every week.

Now, times have changed, and I have a daughter, and my younger sister has graduated from university and found a local job, and she can still come home every week.

Although there are still all kinds of烦心事 [worries] in my work and life, on the whole, my life is satisfactory and not miserable.

Unfortunately, this book didn't get the Three Rivers [Sanjiang] recommendation.

In the end, it's still too [骗] deceitful!

However, I will still try my best to tell a good story and strive for greater progress, just like before.

As those who have read my previous works know, my greatest advantage is that my character is strong enough.

As long as I start a book, even if the results are poor, I will finish the story.
