Sin and Virtue System

94. Council Hall.

The Dark Elves' village was bustling with activity, yet there was an unusual atmosphere about it. Unlike typical villages where children played and laughter filled the streets, this community felt more reserved, with a subdued aura that permeated throughout. It was as if everyone was absorbed in their own tasks and preferred to keep to themselves. Despite the presence of a bustling crowd, one couldn't shake the feeling of loneliness that lingered in the air. However, amidst this subdued environment, there was one house that stood out - Logan's. It was the only place where lively sounds and noises could be heard, breaking the monotonous quietude of the village.

"Ah, yes! More!" moaned Anna, who was usually quiet.

"On it, bitch! Shake that ass more!" replied Logan.

"Master! Ahn!" Logan's rod moved faster and he hit Anna's juicy ass while calling her out.

In the past few days, Logan had disturbed the peace in the neighborhood. The erotic cries of women continued from dusk till dawn.

"Don't you feel uncomfortable with only one arm?" questioned Sylvia, the tomboy with a feminine voice with a blushed face.

Sylvia was a Dark Elf who was appointed as the guardian of Logan and his companions.

"R-right there! Ahn~" Lara joined the group as well. Logan's fingers moved deeper and hit her sweet spots. Her soft walls tightened and got Logan's fingers wet.

"Are you exaggerating?" Sylvia looked away from the debauchery.

"Trust me, cutie… It feels so good~" Lisa answered while gasping for air.

Holding her stomach with one hand while holding her twitching and dripping pussy with the other, Lisa lay on her bed. Evident that she had her full earlier.

"Gah!" Logan pounded for the last time before inserting his cream between Anna's muffins.

"Ahn~ I am so full," Anna said as she lumped into bed. Her body shook as the hot milk dripped down her bare thighs.

"Wanna go another round?" Logan asked Lara.

"I would love to, but… I feel like an exhibitionist." Lara looked outside and saw some little creatures with long ears hiding immediately after getting caught by Lara.

Logan smirked at Sylvia after watching her reaction.

The village was filled with lustful animals under the guise of sheep.

"T-then!" Sylvia coughed and caught everyone's attention.

"If you're finally done, shall we visit the city today?" she offered.

"Hm? Sure." Logan agreed to a tour along with the trio.

As Logan and his companions ventured into the woods with Sylvia, he noticed a culture that was entirely different from what he had expected. The architectural skills of the Dark Elves had struck him the most.

Firstly, the pathways caught Logan's eye. The carefully crafted pathways crisscrossed the forest roads beautifully. They weren't paved, but they were well-maintained and expertly designed, winding their way through the trees in a way that felt almost organic. Despite their preference for natural materials, the Dark Elves had put a lot of thought and effort into designing their pathways. They were wide enough for two people to walk side by side, and they were gently sloped in places to make them easier to navigate. In some areas, the paths were even raised on wooden platforms, allowing travelers to cross over streams and other obstacles without getting their feet wet. Although Logan was used to the paved roads and sidewalks of his world, he couldn't help but appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of the Dark Elves' pathways. They were a testament to the Elves' ingenuity and resourcefulness, and Logan knew that he was fortunate to be able to walk upon them.

"These pathways are beautiful," Anna commented. "Fufu~ Though we look like this, we have got a lot of skilled architects and workers, you know?" Sylvia puffed her chest, and her ears wiggled when she heard the praises of her race.

The next major difference was the houses alongside the roads. Logan was staying in a house built on the ground, unlike the queen. However, the villagers were living in their own world. From the outside, they looked like nothing more than holes dug into the ground, with a wooden door and a mana torch hanging on the wall. But when Logan entered one of them, he was awestruck. Despite their humble appearance, each house was warm, comfortable, and soothing. A campfire crackled in the center of the room, casting a soft glow that illuminated the rich mahogany wood and sandalwood-scented air. The fabric was rich, and the cushions were exceptionally soft. This was the heaven of slothful people.

"Say, Sylvia, why do the villagers have their houses underground and the queen's on the tree?" Logan asked. His impression of the tomboy had changed drastically. Sylvia had a lot of knowledge, and she shared every detail about the things she had shown them. At first, she and Logan were on bad terms with each other, but Logan did not stop approaching her. He liked the honest girl. She talked back, had arrogance, and always held her nose high. But she never stopped the duty assigned to her, and she even answered any stupid question Logan asked.

"First of all, this is NOT a village. This is our kingdom. You are currently in the Capital city of this Kingdom, Darkenwood." She answered with a pout.

"This is a city? Are you uneducated or something?" Logan taunted. How could a place where the inhabitants lived by digging holes, with no magic, and with so few people be called a city?

"Tsk, there was a better way to ask, asshole," Sylvia snapped and nudged Logan, to which she received a spank. But there were no bouncy buttocks, all Logan felt was sheer disappointment. "Hey! Tsk," she thought of punching him but held back.

"This place has every facility you'd expect from a city and more, including modern amenities in the houses that you saw," she replied curtly. "The Queen lives on a tree because she's a High Elf and our Queen."

The tour continued to various places. Surprisingly, the Dark Elves had great marketplaces, including an infamous market called Oak Spoon. The Oak Spoon was well-reputed for armory, potions, and alchemy. Since the Dark Elves could not wield holy magic, they had artifacts and weaponry that absorbed the mana from the surroundings and cast spells in their stead. There was even a beast market, but Sylvia refused to let Logan visit it. Rather than a market, it was a place where they could contract beasts.

The currency in Darkwood was mana stones, while outside it was some blocks of sacred ash-wood. However, Logan ignored that information. His eyes were glued on the armory shops. There were armor, helmets, swords, spears, and whatnot. Any and every type of weapon was sold in Oak Spoon. Since the Dark Elves could not hold holy magic in particular, there were healing potions available, and they were very cheap. There was a particular section that hooked him. It was a martial arts skill.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Sylvia yelped.

"I am seducing you to buy me this." He pointed at a skill.

"Fuck off!" Just like this, the tour continued. Logan was amazed at how humanly he was behaving, and so were his companions. They had expected his demonic traits to kick in, and he would push down any Elf he saw. Little did they know that since the day he had lost his connection with the system and had seen a lot of dreams, Logan was behaving more rationally.

However, everything did not sail smoothly. Since Logan was the only man there, every Elf stared at him lustfully. Even though Logan had lost his demonic power and miasma, he still instinctively felt their gazes. To which he replied with an even more lustful gaze. Logan was preparing for something massive.

After eating lunch at a famous Elven cousin, "Where are we heading now?" Lisa asked. She looked at the curious elves passing by with daggers in her eyes. She can't let them look at her man.

"Council Hall - the place that has your first mission," Sylvia answered with a smirk and stuffed more food. Logan continued eating while the trio stopped. Looking at their confused faces, she answered.

"I know you all are smart enough to understand, so I'll say it straight. You bunch are not trustworthy." As Logan had described, Sylvia was too straightforward. "There is also a problem with your usefulness. We know nothing about your strength. And power is not something that you can just mention, and we believe it. If you want to live here, you need to pay for it." In short, Logan had to work to prove his worth.

Though he was the only man to date able to pass the barricade of this hidden realm, the queen still wanted to confirm his credibility. "What will be the task?" Logan asked.

"You'll see once we go to the Council hall." And so, they headed to the council. Logan was curious about what held in the future for him.

(A/N: I assume this is what world-building is. I am trying to make the characters multi-dimensional and the world more readable and joyful while at the same time keeping the villainous man to his roots.)
