Steel steam and flame

Summary before new volume and request for leave

Let me talk about asking for leave first. I will take two days today and tomorrow to organize things later. Sorry... the update will start on Thursday...

In fact, it seems that there is nothing to summarize.

Recently, in late March and early April, I have been really busy for a long time due to personal matters. Although they are not big things, they have to be done, which makes people very tired.

Also regarding the fifth item, the volume of Executors Under the Red Star. Cassia becomes a spiritual body, and a character similar to an old grandfather possesses a new character. In fact, it has been there since the beginning of the book. (As an aside, there is a main outline of the book. The main line from the beginning to the end is combined by the big plot, and the small plot is written in one part, and then the latter part is conceived.)

The original idea was for Cassia to play the role of a grandfather. Personally, I thought it would be more interesting. My original thoughts and the functions of this plot: First, it shifts the perspective to ordinary surgeons, which is regarded as a transition. It also explains what an ordinary surgeon can do in such an environment, so as to provide a better foundation for the future. World change provides the background - no matter whether it is an individual or a collective, there is a limit after all, so someone needs to break this limit in order to continue.

The second is to prepare for Cassia's advancement. In addition, what is more important is to further introduce the background of the Three-Phase Continent world, and to allow the knight-king class, which has basically never appeared before, to enter the scene.

But until the end of this volume, I can only say that the original idea was very good, and the passion when I started this volume was indeed there, but it was indeed not handled well.

This feeling started not long after the beginning of this volume. Looking back now, I didn't think carefully about it at the time, especially how to deal with Cassia as a grandfather. After writing it, I realized that this was a very huge problem. Because the perspective needs to be fixed on Cassia, even if she leaves, it won't last long. This makes it very difficult to grasp the extent and depth of descriptions between Cassia and Sisia during the actual writing process.

If you just treat Cassia as a grandfather, and Sisia as the protagonist, it is like starting a new book from scratch in the current context. So I felt very tangled along the way, and I never found a suitable limit. In the end, I had to settle for the next best thing and turn this relationship into a collaboration between Cassia and Xicia, and only then did I feel a little better personally.

But this is a good attempt. Although the result is a failure in my opinion, I also think that I have learned something.

In addition, the new world under the heavy rain in the final volume of the sixth volume can be regarded as entering the final stage and beginning to move towards the final ending.

It is also a new challenge. I am also weighing which parts need to be written and which parts I cannot grasp well, so I choose to omit them and not describe them in detail.

I feel that I am better at writing small-scale battles between teams, but when it comes to large-scale battles, I may find it difficult. There is a worry that the relationship cannot be clearly explained.

In addition, it will also be necessary to balance the degree of fighting between individual individuals, forces, and groups in the future. Simply put, it is how an individual affects the overall situation, and how the big situation affects individuals. I really want to describe this mutual influence cycle, but I feel that I will encounter difficulties, so I will think about it carefully recently.

Of course, if you readers think that some books describe this kind of thing, you can recommend it to me, so that you can study it seriously. As of now, I feel that although I have written a lot, there are still too many areas that need improvement.

Finally, Steel Steam and Flame has been here for almost six years now. Thank you all for your continued support. Thank you very much!
