Strange talk live room

Chapter 913 The smell of the toilet

I glanced in the direction of the toilet.

The lights returned to normal.

Quiet and quiet, nothing.

The smell seemed to be wafting over.

"There are fewer people going to the toilet at night, so shouldn't the smell be smaller?" I said in confusion.

"It seems that the sewage pipe is a little blocked." Old Ding was a little nervous. "It's getting late. Let's not stand here. If you have anything to say, go back to the room and say it slowly."

With that said, he pushed me back to the dormitory.

The door is closed.

Old Ding breathed a sigh of relief.

After putting away the toiletries, Lao Ding spread out the quilt, took off his shoes and got in.

"Go to bed early, Xiao Li. Once you sleep until dawn, it's a new day when the sun comes out." He said while nestling in the quilt.

"Uncle Ding, it's too early now. I can't sleep at all. How about we chat for a while?" I took off my dirty volunteer vest and sat on the edge of the bed.

"What's there to talk about? Go to bed early and get down to business. It's good to be asleep and don't have any worries." Lao Ding's eyes were empty and he didn't seem interested.

"That's right. You must be tired after a busy day. Uncle, how about I give you a squeeze on your waist?"

I went over and sat beside his bed.

"No need to bother." Old Ding looked up at me, flattered.

"It's okay, I can't sleep anyway." I said without hesitation and helped him hold his lower back.

"My dad is about the same age as you, and he has worked hard all his life. When I see you, I think of him!"

"Normally, at this age, it's time to retire, but he is different."

"A few years ago, he lost a lot of money in business, owed a lot of debt, and hid in his hometown in the countryside."

"Father's debt is repaid by his son, and the creditor is found on my head."

"He is my father, and I can't just ignore him. Uncle Ding, don't you think so?"

"Actually, I can't blame him entirely. He also wanted to buy me an apartment in the city, so he took the risk to do business."

"I don't know how he lives alone in his hometown, ugh."

I deliberately mentioned debt, and Lao Ding was a little touched.

"There are no parents who don't love their children. It's a pity that some children are here to repay debts and some are here to collect debts." He sighed.

"My incompetent son, if I were half as good as you, I wouldn't be still doing this kind of service work at such an old age."

"Uncle Ding, you must be making fun of me on purpose." I said deliberately.

"That bastard of mine is here to collect debts!"

"He didn't know why he got hooked on gambling. He owed loan sharks, and the interest compounded. Even though everything in his family was sold, he still couldn't pay it back."

"The creditor said that if he didn't pay back the money, he would have his arms and legs removed."

"After all, it's my seed, and I can't just watch and ignore it."

Old Ding's eyes turned red.

"He's grown so big, but he's never given me a slap on the back."

"Every family has its own scriptures that are difficult to recite." I sighed, "Even people like Boss Hao have lost their mothers since they were young."

"I heard that he helped every employee here solve a lot of troubles. Such a good person, how could God bear to let him suffer?"

Old Ding paused and said in a deep voice: "He helped us a lot."

"I don't know if the murderer who set fire to the factory can be caught. If I were burned to death for no reason, I would never let him go."

"Don't talk nonsense!" Old Ding turned around and looked at me nervously, "It's unlucky to say this late at night!"

"It's just talk. What can happen?" I didn't care. "Even if there is a ghost, what should I be afraid of? I didn't do anything bad."

"Don't talk about people behind your back, and don't talk about that at night!" Lao Ding sat up directly and interrupted me with a very serious expression.

"Uncle Ding, why are you nervous? Aunt Tao and Aunt Fang have been telling me to leave before dark. It won't happen here."

"Don't even think about where this place is!" Old Ding said quietly and cryptically, glancing around uneasily.

"Although thirty years have passed, the time has not left yet."

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly trembled, pulled the quilt and lay down.

"My waist is much more comfortable, I don't need to press it anymore. Xiao Li, go to sleep, it's getting late!"

He closed his eyes, but put one hand outside the quilt and pointed in the direction of the window.

"Okay, Uncle Ding, I'm sleepy too. I'm going to sleep now."

I stood up and stretched. When I turned around and walked towards the bed opposite, I glanced at the window and couldn't help but feel a chill in my heart.

There was actually a human face plastered on the dusty glass of the window.

I don’t know when it appeared.

The scary eyes on his face were peeking at the situation inside the house.

I pretended not to see it.

Turn off the light and lie down on the bed.

Then he squinted his eyes and looked at the window again.

There were no lights on in the corridor outside, and there was only a vague outline of a human face on the dark windows.

It changed its direction and leaned its ear against the glass to listen for a while.

After making sure that we didn't want to talk anymore, we quietly left.

Although he couldn't see clearly, it was not difficult to guess that the owner of that face was Director Yang.

This woman is so scary, no wonder everyone is afraid of her.

But something is strange.

Director Yang told me not to go out at night, indicating that she did not want me to walk around the nursing home at night.

But Aunt Tao said, if Director Yang calls me at night, should I pretend I didn't hear him?

These are obviously two contradictory things.

Who is lying?

I frowned.

These can all be put aside. What worries me is that everyone had an attitude of avoiding the fire that year.

There has been no news from Su Sen yet.

It was already dark, and there was no substantial progress in the investigation.

50W Hades Coin is really not that easy to get.

"Xiao Li, if Director Yang asks you to go out, no matter what she says, don't go to the third floor." In the darkness, Old Ding turned over and whispered as if talking in his sleep.

"What?" I asked immediately.

But Lao Ding said nothing more and snored slightly, as if he really fell asleep.

What's on the third floor?

The employees here obviously know something, but for some reason they dare not say it.

Does this threat come from Boss Hao?

On the surface, this benevolent man helped the employees solve a difficult problem.

But looking at it from another perspective, he is using these things in exchange to let these employees do things for him.

So, to be sure, working in a nursing home is a dangerous job.

So where does this danger come from?

Those old people, or something else?

Mysteries abound.

I lay on the bed for a while and decided to go out and test it first.

"Uncle Ding, are you asleep?"

Lao Ding didn't answer me, but I could feel his breathing pause.

"I'm going to use the bathroom."

I got out of bed and put on my coat. Without turning on the light, I walked to the door in the dark and opened it.

The corridor was dark.

I clapped my hands gently, but the voice-activated light did not light up.

Even the first floor has to turn off the electricity.

I closed the door, turned on the flashlight on my phone, and walked in the dark corridor toward the toilet.

I didn't take two steps before I smelled the smell of the toilet.
