Ten days ago, I received a notice from my dear editor, the boss of Qilin: January 5, the homepage of Qidian will be closed.

At that moment, I was very excited, very happy, and a little sad and proud.

There were only 180 pre-orders for this book at the beginning, and the average order was 140. After more than a year of persistence, the average order is now 1,700, and the high order is more than 5,000.

Although this result is still fluttering, it is a huge improvement for me.

At the beginning, I couldn't imagine that the real book would one day be on the big page.

I have thought about cutting this book countless times, but I finally persevered. I insisted on updating 4,000 words every day for the month after it was put on the shelves, and insisted on updating more than 8,000 words every day for more than half a year.

God rewards hard work!

I started writing a book in 2016. It has been three years, and I have written five or six books, with a total word count of more than six million. The sadness during this period is not something ordinary people can understand.

Writing a book, from conception, typing, revision, and uploading, consumes a lot of energy and time every day.

Those who concentrate on writing books, no matter part-time or full-time, hardly have time to spend with their families. We dedicate our time and enthusiasm to writing and readers.

However, when you write thousands of words hard and post them on the Internet, there are very few readers. No one can really understand the loneliness.

As authors, we are not afraid of wasting time and energy, and we are not afraid of sacrificing our health and sitting in front of the computer for a long time. What we are most afraid of is that no one will read the articles we have worked hard to conceive and write, even if they are trolled.

When I first started writing a book, every time I uploaded an article, I always liked to swipe the screen to see if there were any new comments in the comment area, and to see if anyone gave a reward.

If someone gives a reward, even if it is one yuan, he will be as happy as if he picked up a hundred yuan or a thousand yuan.

If a reader leaves a message saying that the writing is good, come on, Cui Geng, I will jump up with joy, full of energy, and I can’t wait to write 100,000 words overnight to give back to the readers
