Taiping Inn
Postscript
Part I, Summary.
"Taiping Inn" has come to an end. It started and ended in the inn, so it can be said that it has a beginning and an end.
In fact, when I started writing, I had two ideas, A and B.
The first idea is that the protagonist is a member of a secret organization, and the plot is connected through this secret organization. Some readers have pointed this out and think that I wrote it wrong. I admire these readers very much. They are really amazing and can see it.
Because "Taiping Inn" uses the second idea, the protagonist is no longer a member of the secret organization, but a son of a noble family with a broad mind, let's say a son of a noble family, and he has become the founder of the secret organization, which has greatly reduced the proportion of the secret organization. Many people think that the inn article is not relevant to the topic, which is reasonable.
The change in my thinking is that I read an article that believes that many online articles about saving the world are floating, with their feet not touching the ground, without specific problems and specific solutions, but just empty fighting and killing and reasoning.
So in the later period, I increased the proportion of discussion on system, military, money and grain, and new policies, and even had some historical feeling. Of course, I felt that I was not able to do it. If I really wanted to reasonably solve the many problems at the end of the dynasty, I was afraid that I would have to write a thesis, so I turned back decisively and floated again, still using a battle of gods as the final decisive battle. As for the execution of the new policy and other issues, let the people in the book solve them, and no longer try.
A friend of mine once talked to me about a problem, which was the most correct problem of obtaining a country discussed by Li Xuandu and Sikong Daoxuan in the book.
These four words come from "Lectures on the History of Ming Dynasty": Since the Three Dynasties, the most correct countries in China were Han and Ming. A common man started an uprising without relying on the suspicion of prestige, and eliminated violence for the people without the intention of presciently looking at the artifact.
Neither Li Xuandu nor Qin Qing met this condition. They were not common men, and Qin Qing had long had the intention of presciently looking at the artifact.
My friend asked me, since you want to write such a hero, why don't you just let him be a commoner? Instead, he is made to be a combination of commoner blood and aristocratic status. Isn't it suspected of building a memorial arch?
My answer is, it's not that I don't want to, but I can't. The key is that too many plots are driven by the identity of the protagonist. Because of his identity, the protagonist can deal with big forces when he is very weak. Even the plots and conflicts in the middle are centered around the identity of the protagonist.
In other words, the starting point of the protagonist is actually very high, so he can accomplish such a great cause in just a few years. The identity and talent are the protagonist's golden finger.
If it is a commoner, or a protagonist like Guo Jing, it is not that I can't write it, but my writing skills are difficult to control.
Then there is the question of Qin Su.
The heroine Qin Su was thought of very early. Some people say that whether she is the heroine does not depend on whether she is the wife or lover of the protagonist, but on whether she can be replaced and whether she is irreplaceable.
Qin Su is obviously irreplaceable. Without her, the plot about Liaodong will be greatly delayed, and even many plots cannot be advanced. But Yu Qingning and Gongguan can be replaced, which is why Qin Su was chosen.
My initial idea was that the relationship between the two people progressed step by step, that is, it unfolded normally, vaguely ambiguous, and then expressed their feelings to each other, and finally talked about marriage. But when I wrote this paragraph, I happened to be watching "The Twelve Hours in Chang'an". Zhang Xiaojing's attitude towards Tan Qi was offensive, which influenced me. Why bother to be fussy, why bother to be coy, just do it directly. Unfortunately, I forgot that the protagonist's early personality was not suitable for this kind of writing, so there was abruptness that was widely criticized by book friends.
In fact, if you leave Li Xuandu's perspective, from a third party's point of view, you will feel that this relationship is utilitarian. After Li Xuandu knew Qin Su's identity, he took the initiative to promote the marriage between Qin and Li, and finally used his wife's family to realize his ambitions. In this way, Li Xuandu feels a bit ambitious. This is not my intention. It can only be said that it was a mistake. The bad thing is that this initiative has caused a certain degree of split in Li Xuandu's character.
Then there are supporting roles.
In fact, both the protagonist and the supporting characters have black spots. Although they are included in the protagonist camp, I have no intention of whitewashing them. For example, Lu Yanbing, who was arrogant at first but respectful later, Li Daoxu, who secretly ruled alone, and Xu Wugui, who regarded human life as grass. Even the popular palace officials are in some ways a true witch, and even Ning Yi, who betrayed the family that raised her, etc. Not to mention Shi Wuyue and others. If you feel that a supporting character is very annoying in some places, you are not wrong.
As for the protagonist, he also has shortcomings. I have ridiculed him more than once through the mouths of people in the book, such as being a teacher, etc. It is actually thankless to write a perfect person, so it is better to write a flawed person.
Among them, my favorite character is Xu Wugui, and I even gave him a protagonist template. He is also extremely talented, has a good background, develops a secret organization, and is also a teacher. He is just a failure, while Li Xuan succeeds.
Finally, the protagonist.
The protagonist is set to be a man who has passed the stage of youth and frivolity, and has become calm and steady, and knows how to make more and more friends, and has great ambitions. Therefore, the protagonist does not kill many people along the way, but constantly expands his alliances, and finally integrates the Taoist sect on the basis of his predecessors. In the later period, he is even more decadent, becoming a complete superior, and no longer has the youthful spirit.
But I think this is reasonable. After all, as a superior, a leader, or even a leader, it is not easy to jump out of it, and it is even more frivolous. Especially when Li Xuan is shouldering the world, he can't jump up, and he can't even float. stand up.
It's just a bit boring, I will make corrections in the next book.
Part 2, thanks.
I feel that the strong support from all book friends, no matter which aspect it is.
I don’t know when, but I always feel that sincerity should not always be spoken by my sincere feelings. If there is too much, it will inevitably be a bit hypocritical. Therefore, I am always stingy with my words for the support of my book friends and seem very cold. But today the book is over, so I have to say it.
You are the cornerstone that supports the smooth completion of this book, thank you.
In addition, there are many book friends who have rewarded me. I did not thank you at the end of the article, and did not forget or care about it. I would like to thank you here.
Part 3, about the new book.
As mentioned earlier, Li Xuandu's starting point is very high, so the protagonist of the new book will be very low. There is no master who is famous all over the world, no care of the second senior brother, and no father-in-law who is dominating one side.
He is a poor pawn.
If you are prosperous, you will benefit the world; if you are poor, you will be safe.
If Li Xuan, who has a higher starting point, always cared about the world, cared more about the fate of others, and helped the world. The protagonist of the new book is a pawn. He only cares about his own destiny and overcomes obstacles along the way, not for the people, not for the world, but for the sake of being alone, because at the beginning he could not even be alone.
On the other hand, Li Xuandu was able to keep himself alone. Even at the most down and down time, Zhang Haishi would take care of him. He could rest assured that the whole world would be divided and merged. Whether he came out or not would not affect his life and death.
The protagonist of the new book is inspired by Geralt of the Wizard Three. He will not take the initiative to do a chivalrous manner, but when encountering unfair things, he will still follow his conscience. He doesn't know any court, he knows some human nature, he will temporarily bow his head in the face of power, he is not afraid of killing people, he lives for himself, but in the face of big troubles, he will choose righteousness.
As for the heroine, she would not be the second Qin Su. She is not as shy as Qin Su, nor is she a hermit-like personality. She has her own ideas and is not influenced by the protagonist. She is an extremely generous woman.
The worldview continues the worldview of the inn, and the world will be in the world many years later. However, it cannot be completely equated with the world of inns. After all, the world always develops forward, moving forward in twists and turns, and rising in spirals.
In the new world, the Taoist sect is extremely powerful, with strict organization and strict hierarchy. It is no longer a loose alliance in Taiping Inn, and the thirty-six real people no longer feel like a scholastic team, but more like a senate. It is not the ideal Taoist sect in Li Xuandu. After all, one generation can only do the things of one generation.
Li Xuan was no longer in the world and was pushed to the altar by his disciples and grandchildren in later generations. Firearms have also made great progress, but because of the existence of magical powers, they have gradually embarked on another path, which is completely different from the actual guns.
This is something I had conceived for a long time, so the Taiping Inn frequently described the Taoist system in the later period, such as the Thirty-Six Real People. In terms of realm cultivation, it will also be generally continued, but the Taoist sect will adjust and refine the division of realms, and will completely introduce the inheritance of the five immortals in the middle and late stages of Taiping. The realm of the earth immortal has the realm of the earth immortal, the realm of the ghost immortal, and the realm of the ghost immortal, and the realm of the human being. The realm of immortals and immortals is no longer the upper structure of earth immortals, but as a separate inheritance.
Li Xuan is both a ground immortal, and the new protagonist will not be a ground immortal.
Time is developing, the world is progressing, and the world will also change, so this is not a pure martial arts, nor is it a pure fairy tale. This is the era of the Daxuan Dynasty, no longer a fragmented dynasty end. I will try to describe the prosperity of a dynasty during its heyday. The system will continue the system of the Ming Dynasty and the system of the Daxuan court at the end of the peace. However, the description and portrayal of the Daxuan court. The prosperous Tang Dynasty will be used as a template, so in addition to the Central Plains and the Jinguan, the new continents mentioned by Posa Prefecture, Fenglin Prefecture, the Western Kingdoms, the Rakshasa Kingdom, and the New World in Xu Wu will appear.
The name of the new book is "The Pass Crossing the River".
This time, the main line is no longer about revenge, and the story begins after the protagonist takes revenge.
The pawns crossing the river cannot turn back, but can sway left and right.
...
This is an era when firearms are in full swing but cold weapons are still dominant.
This is an era where magical powers are rejuvenated and the world and people's hearts are radically changing.
This is an era of alternating between old and new.
Qi Xuansu is just an insignificant little person in this era.
He once carried a deep revenge on blood, and he took revenge.
He had been alive for a lifetime, and he finally came to life.
He thought it was the end and could start over and spend the rest of his life in peace, but he found that this was just the beginning.
It turned out that he had no way out and could only move forward.
