Excluding the dead weight of 114 tons, this means that its ultimate load capacity is a full 229.75 tons!

But after all, it was only the first day of testing. The load capacity should not only be measured by the thrust-to-weight ratio, but also by the strength of the fuselage material. Therefore, for the sake of safety, Dong Jun chose a relatively conservative number.

After loading hundreds of tons of iron blocks, the take-off speed of the Y-20S finally became much more normal.

After gliding for about 600 meters, it slowly took off. The take-off distance was similar to the unladen take-off distance of the Y-20, and the landing performance was still excellent, still controlled at more than 300 meters.
