The Admiral of Hogwarts

#114 - The Goddess of the Hearth

To avoid worrying his parents, Hugo and the others didn't mention what happened in Coconut Town. They only said that they had visited a small town of wizards and saw many interesting things. The reason they were back now was because the next attraction was scheduled for tomorrow, so there were no plans for the afternoon.

For the rest of the afternoon, Hugo and the others did their own things as usual. Unexpectedly, Hermione seemed very calm, not at all like she had been frightened earlier.

After asking, Hugo learned that she had full confidence in Enterprise, believing that as an elite Auror, since Enterprise had made a promise in front of them, she should have a way to eliminate the thief gang and the various problems they caused.

Soon it was evening, and after everyone had fallen asleep, Hugo, as before, left his room with Enterprise's assistance. After seeing Hugo, Enterprise said to him in a low voice, "My aircraft has tracked down the location of those guys. Tonight, we can give them a surprise."

"What kind of people are they?" Hugo asked after the car started. He noticed that after Enterprise started the car, she drove west along the coastal road with few streetlights along the beach. Fortunately, the moon was very full tonight, so even though the road lighting was poor due to the lack of streetlights, there was no need to worry about any danger.

"Not sure yet. Because the other party cast some magic, I didn't order the aircraft to conduct close reconnaissance to avoid them realizing our existence."

Enterprise said, while driving and avoiding two high-end sports cars that were racing. "I saw some images through the window and deciphered some people's lip movements. They should be here to find someone important hiding on the island, trying to kill or find them."

"That should be good news, right? After all, it means we don't need to hold back when dealing with them and can use some lethal force," Hugo replied after listening to Enterprise. After all, for the ship girls, unless Hugo directly gave an order, she would only decide the extent of the use of force based on her own judgment.

In other words, the only thing limiting the combat power of the ship girls now was their own moral bottom line. Fortunately, the enemies they were facing now had a low enough moral level, belonging to the kind of guys who could be directly stuffed into the main gun and executed by cannon fire, so they could naturally exert all their combat power in battle.

"Are we going to the port area?" Just as Hugo was thinking, the car made a turn, and then the shimmering Pearl Harbor under the moonlight appeared in front of him. Seeing this scene, he asked Enterprise beside him with some surprise, "Could those guys dare to ambush near an ordinary military port?"

"No, of course not. The place where those people are hiding now is in a forest on the largest island in the Hawaiian Islands, Hawaii Island. I'll teleport you over in a while," Enterprise said. "Fortunately, those guys may have chosen a ferry out of the desire to hide their identities, otherwise the fighter jets would have no way to keep up with them."

"As for why we're going to the port now, it's because I think it's difficult for just me and Illustrious to provide you with enough protection in the upcoming battle, so I plan to summon another companion. To be honest, if it had been earlier, I would have had Tennessee and the others stay, but unfortunately they left too quickly before, and now they're all on the west coast of the United States and can't come back at all."

For the ship girls, they don't think the admiral is the kind of flower in a greenhouse, so they think it's a very normal thing for the admiral to go to the battlefield. It's just that out of love for the admiral, they must arrange enough bodyguards for the admiral when facing enemies stronger than the admiral to feel at ease.

Although Illustrious can guarantee to appear beside Hugo at all times, in the eyes of most ship girls, Illustrious, an old ship turned ship girl, has too low combat power. So Enterprise felt that she had to find another bodyguard for Hugo to ensure that there would be no problems in the upcoming battle.

"Are there any ship girls in the Pearl Harbor port area that can be summoned?" Hugo asked with some confusion, "If I remember correctly, we searched the berth from beginning to end that day, but we didn't see the seventh ship appear at all. So where would that ship girl be?"

"Still in Pearl Harbor," At this time, the car had reached the seaside, and then Enterprise suddenly turned the steering wheel, causing the car to drive north along the coastline, "And she's a real old senior."

Soon, the car stopped at a row of small ports on the east side of the port area. Then Hugo was carried by Enterprise across the sea to a black pier. Raising his head, he saw the USS Arizona Memorial not far away.

This small pier was only half the size of a basketball court, and seemed to be just an affiliated building of the memorial, but the phone that Hugo summoned did indeed show a light spot representing a ship girl that could be summoned.

"It's quite strange that this place can summon a ship girl," Hugo thought silently in his heart, but since there was a light spot here, it meant that a ship girl could definitely be summoned. Sure enough, after the summoning ceremony was completed, a pink-haired girl appeared in front of Hugo.

"Vestal is here. As long as I'm here, no one will be hurt," After saying her opening lines, Vestal looked around and then happily said to Enterprise, "Ha, Enterprise, you're here too."

After seeing Vestal, Hugo immediately remembered what was going on. Back then, because that repair ship was too old, she was completely dismantled not long after the end of the war, and no relics were left behind. The only thing related to her was a pier of the same name in Pearl Harbor.

Now that he thought about it, the pier where Hugo and the others were should be that pier also called Vestal. As Vestal's last relic, it was no wonder that this repair ship could be summoned.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Enterprise immediately teleported Hugo and Vestal again. Hugo felt as if Enterprise's hand was about to break free from his, so he quickly grabbed it tightly. Then he found that the surroundings had become pitch black. He was subjected to strong pressure from all directions, making it impossible to breathe, feeling as if he had plunged into the deep sea.

Fortunately, this process was fleeting, and Hugo's body had been strengthened many times. Therefore, after a feeling of being squeezed out of a very narrow rubber tube, Hugo returned to normal in one or two breaths, and then felt that the air around him suddenly became a lot more humid.

He looked around and found that the coastline and pier had all disappeared, and the surroundings were a dense tropical rainforest. Fortunately, the bright moonlight of the full moon shone on the ground through the gaps in the branches, allowing them to see clearly what the surrounding situation was like.

"Our target is ahead," Enterprise said at this time, pointing to a very faint light in the distance, "The other party's camp is built on the hillside, so we have to go around a little more from the side to avoid being discovered by the other party before launching an attack."

"Understood," Hugo and Vestal nodded at the same time, and then followed Enterprise up the hillside from the side.
