The Alpha's Return

All the people in the room got up and jumped with fright. They were powerful supernatural beings first before they were celebrities, and people with high social standing. Bright flashes of light came, as the seven who stood up started baring their fangs at Lucas. Michael had fully turned into a werewolf. Angela did not morph, but her eyes turned black instead. Raphael's body turned illusory. Arthur's body turned into solid rock, and Adrienna's eyes turned red. Her whole eyes turned red, unlike Lucas' transformation, where only the pupils turned red.

The other two, a man and a woman, were next to each other, and their hands turned into branches of trees, and those branches extended close towards Lucas.

Praneeth's third eye started opening as well, and it glared at the fleshy form of Fenrir.

"Hello, old friend. What do you want?", Praneeth spoke softly. He was still seated and looked calmly at Lucas, but his third eye looked like it had a mind of its own. It was glaring wide open and looked like it was furious.

"Haha, it seems like Shiva is still very furious with my trip to India. Looks like I should pay another visit to make amends.", Fenrir laughed.

"Now is not the time to joke, or to court death. Remember this, the only reason you are still alive is because your dear brother and sister pleaded with the gods, and they allowed you as long as you were contained in a mortal shell. Don't push it.", Praneeth said.

"kekeke, still the same brooding self. How boring. Now then, why don't I pitch in this discussion about me? Bugger off.", the voice changed from playful to terrorizing in an instant.

Everyone looked at Lucas, or rather, at Fenrir seriously.

"Fenrir. What are you doing? It hurts. Get back inside. I am going to have to force you inside if you don't go in.", Lucas suddenly said.

"Let me speak with these hypocrites first.", Fenrir countered.

"It pains. Shut up and go inside. Or I'll do it myself.", Lucas said.

Fenrir growled slowly, and the fleshy wolf head went back into Lucas' back. [pun intended]

Lucas took of his shirt, revealing his rippled muscles. But, none of the women even turned away. Angela blushed, as her eyes turned normal again, but she still stood on guard.

Lucas got up to leave.

"Where to?", Michael called out, hesitating a little.

"To get a new shirt. I can't walk around like this, can I?", Lucas laughed as he left the room. Michael went to the door and closed it.

"The situation is worse than I thought.", he said grimly.

"Are you an idiot? He is a werewolf. He can hear us still.", Arthur said.

"Not in here, he can't. I am not an idiot. I have at least one room in the warehouse which is completely sound proof.", Michael said.

"Ok then, back to the topic. What the hell are we going to do? Fenrir is completely awake right now. This is not like fifty years ago. That time, Fenrir was still drowsy and was only influencing Lucas. Now, he is capable of acting as well.", a woman said, her arms retracting back into her body.

"Well then, looks like we are going to have to use some drastic measures this time around. So, what do you propose, Mu Chen? I am sure you brought all your toys this time around.", she looked at Mu Chen.

"Not enough to go against a fully awake half god. Not nearly enough. We are going to have to look for another solution.", he shook his head.

"You are thinking about this too much.", Praneeth spoke. "Did no one notice that Fenrir was still listening to Lucas' words? He did not influence Lucas even one bit. I think that there is still hope that the same incidents of the past will not repeat this time around."

"Of course you would think that. Not everyone is as optimistic though. Look at the facts. We have one blood thirsty wolf that longs for destruction and we have literally Cain's descendant. Put that together. Why am I not as optimistic?", Adrienna said, as she fell into her seat, sweat forming on her forhead.
