Chapter 11. World Collision – Third –

When creating a legendary creature, you originally have to offer a sacrifice. The trait provided a significant portion of that sacrifice, but you can offer more additionally.

“In addition to the 3,268 points obtained from the trait, I will evenly offer half of the life in my ecosystem.”

“Yes. Then, in addition to the 2,042 points added to the legendary creature, 561 points will be consumed. Is that okay?”

“No problem.”

Just like when I created Apohjuice, a formidable vortex formed from the fragment of the old god.

The vortex, which seemed to only absorb living creatures, endlessly devoured slightly more than half of the creatures. Plants, fish, reptiles, insects, frogs, jelly, gel, pudding existing in the freshwater. It greedily and voraciously sucked in all the creatures of the Dessert Legion except for Apohjuice.

Squirm─! Squirm─! Squirm─!

The fragment of the old god swelled. The fragment, covered with gelatinous, vitreous, and ceramic skin, continued to swell like a bubble and floated into the air. It was like a balloon, but round spheres kept attaching inside it like bubbles.

Swoosh.

“My goodness. How does that thing fly?”

It has light gas inside its body, and half of it is magic. It floats by infusing light 〈Wind〉 attribute magic inside its body.

From its body, which seemed like a mixture of bubbles, meat, and rocks, tentacles for manipulation grew. Tentacles for forming the hand signs needed to use magic. And vicious tentacles that could touch and destroy other objects on their own.

Brrip─!

And then it opened its eyes. Two in the front. Two on the upper side. Two on the lower side. And two in the back. The thing, with multiple crystalline eyes among the bubbles, extended its tentacles, filling its flesh with thick yogurt-colored blood.

【Oh, my great creator. The Yog-Tosoth you have crafted has descended upon this world.】

Ecosystem. Influx.

【It has been introduced into this ecosystem.】

Impressive. It possesses a very high intelligence, understanding its master’s words immediately.

「The world’s 〈Military〉 score has surpassed 926 points, rising to level 4. You can now choose a new trait.」

「The world’s 〈Mystery〉 score has surpassed 926 points, rising to level 4. You can now choose a new trait.」

Even the Yog-Tosoth alone caused the 〈Military〉 and 〈Mystery〉 scores to double due to one of its abilities. It’s a monster capable of raising the entire ecosystem’s level by itself.

For the 〈Military〉 trait, I chose 『Magic Combat』. It’s a trait that makes it better at fighting using magic.

“This time, there’s an interesting trait available.”

“Interesting?”

『Yog-Tosoth Knowledge Acquisition: Yog-Tosoth gains 926 points worth of magical knowledge.』

『Water Mystery Specialization: Becomes more adept at water attribute mysteries.』

『Magic Revelation: Consumes 〈Divinity〉 to increase the speed of 〈Magic〉 performance of creations.』

Oh. So there’s a trait that directly enhances Yog-Tosoth on the 〈Mystery〉 side as well.

“Yes. It’s not as good as strengthening the entire civilization, but it can further increase the stats of a powerful legendary creation.”

Then I’ll go with that. It’s better than the other traits.

【Thank you, my creator.】

「The world’s 〈Technology〉 score has surpassed 100 points, rising to level 1. You can now choose a new trait.」

“?”

“Ah. Magical knowledge. So it was treated as acquiring technology, surpassing 100 points.”

“I see······.”

The 〈Technology〉 score reflects the total level of technological advancement and the number of people enjoying its benefits.

Magical knowledge, not just scientific knowledge, also increased the technology score. Yog-Tosoth’s magical knowledge alone was enough to raise the level. What kind of creature is it?

For the 〈Technology〉 trait, I chose 『Magic Development』. It’s a trait that intuitively speeds up magic development. This is also essentially exclusive to Yog-Tosoth.

Let’s see. Let’s check this creature’s stats.

「Yog-Tosoth 〈Legendary Unique Creation〉

Health LV.4: 1,379

Combat LV.3: 879

Skill LV.2: 340

Intelligence LV.3: 694

Charm LV.2: 279

Spirit LV.3: 560

Authority LV.4: 1,205

Magic LV.3: 900

Total Individual Score LV.3: 6,236

He’s a madman.

“It’s impossible to evaluate beyond this. We’re just preparing for the third collision, and even the lowest charm is at level 2 with 279 points. The highest stamina and authority have exceeded 1,000 points at level 4. The total ability score is 6,236 points at level 3. Moreover, the learned authority and magic are so tremendous that this is a giant monster capable of confronting an entire civilization alone even in the fourth collision.”

Angel. Don’t just praise, tell me the drawbacks too.

“Yes? Ah… If I must say, it would be the energy consumption. The energy consumption is so severe that it would take a life level of about 4 to handle it. But literally, since the life level of your world is 6, it’s a meaningless drawback.”

I see. Even the angel thinks so.

Then, is that guy the strongest? No world would be able to defeat my Yogo-Tosoth, right?

From noble mtl dot com

“10,779. That’s the number of worlds that have the potential to hunt Yogo-Tosoth with their current capabilities.”

What? Why so many?

“No, it’s an incredibly small number… There are over 250 million remaining players. Even the mentioned worlds should be considered as having only a ‘possibility.’

Out of the 10,779, more than 9,000 would exhaust all their civilization’s capabilities or face mutual destruction, or even fail. There is no civilization that can hunt Yogo-Tosoth without losing more than 50% of its capabilities.

In short, all the players currently participating in the game would see their civilization score drop to less than half just by confronting Yogo-Tosoth.”

“What if we consider ecosystems instead of civilizations?”

“Among the remaining players, you are the only one without a civilization… Of course.”

I see.

But the fact that there are forces capable of hunting it… is a bit worrisome. Legendary creations are immortal, so even if they are destroyed, they can be recreated, but it takes a huge amount of resources to revive them.

Anyway, since we can’t just throw Yogo-Tosoth in right when the dimensional gate opens, let’s take it slow and see how it goes.

The World of Be-In

Life LV.6: 1,482

Military LV.4: 1,722

Industry LV.3: 505

Technology LV.1: 112

Culture LV.0: 0

Politics LV.0: 0

Mystery LV.4: 1,539

Faith LV.3: 871

Total Score LV.4: 6,231

“The overall score of the world is lower than the Yog-Tosos’s abilities.”

“Although the abilities of an individual and the world do not correspond 1:1, more than half of all living beings were given as food to Yog-Tosos. And honestly, expecting a high total ability score when culture and politics are at zero is really shameless.”

“Still, overall, even in this state, the total ability score of my world seems incredibly high.”

“That’s true.”

The next opponent is going to be pitiful.

The first terrain that player Eung received was a desert. Since Eung originally had a body made of pure elements, he thought it was actually a good environment.

However, Eung thought that ‘logically’, in the current structure where half of the players are eliminated each time, leaving only one out of a billion, his chances of winning were extremely low.

“Angel. You said that conditional alliances are possible, not just unconditional surrender, right?”

“Yes, that’s correct.”

Since Eung’s angel, who had a beautiful elemental body, said so, Eung’s strategy was decided early on.

First, as soon as the first world collision occurred, he immediately applied for an <Alliance>. This was before the first invaders could harm his civilization as the dimensional gate opened.

“Hey. Is there any point in fighting and wasting energy from the first match? Let’s cooperate perfectly with each other first. Then, in the next match, we can start with twice the advantage without fighting each other.”

Fortunately, the opponent understood.

“Then let’s go like that until the end of the game?”

“Of course not. While we cooperate with each other, let’s continue the intrigue to suppress each other’s races. But even if we win the struggle for dominance of the world, we won’t ‘annihilate’ the opponent but make them our subordinate. Even as a subordinate, they can rebel later if they regain strength.”

“Hmm…”

“Let’s request cooperation from the second opponent as well. Unless the second opponent is exceptionally good at the game, they will probably be in a battered state after fighting the first opponent.

So, in reality, it will be a three-way battle, or maybe even a four-way battle if the opponent also has subordinates or allies… But they will be weaker than us who have cooperated from the beginning. Even if the opponent refuses, we can easily defeat them.”

“Are you proposing this without knowing my condition?”

“Precisely because I don’t know your condition, I’m proposing it. So, you can trust it even more.”

In short, Eung chose the ‘cooperation strategy’.

Instead of fighting the opponent, he chose cooperation. And as a member of the world, he aimed to win through internal affairs and intrigue.

Eung was more confident in such politics and schemes than direct combat.

“Alright. I’ll accept that proposal.”

Unlike Eung, who created a pure elemental life form, the opponent’s race was like rats that consumed very little water.

They were surprised by each other’s races, but conversely, knowing that their races’ desires did not overlap, the alliance became easier.

Eung’s race occupied regions overflowing with magical zones and elements, honing their mysteries, while their opponent’s rat race built cities in valleys, collected rainwater from deserts, planted vegetation, and developed technology.

The second contest. The opponent rejected the cooperation proposal but was utterly defeated by the already perfect Element & Rat alliance. They accepted the surrender and took them as slaves.

Now, in Eung’s world, there were three gods, two main races, and one slave race. The rat player was quite adept at politics, not easily yielding the initiative to Eung. It was uncertain if this structure would remain even after the third clash.

Eung believed that no player would refuse the best strategy of ‘cooperation,’ continually proposing cooperation, and was convinced that their strategy of ruling an ever-expanding world was the best.

Even if they lost, they believed they could survive long by continuing their lives as the opponent’s vassal, subordinate, or at least a slave.

Eung had that much confidence in politics, intrigue, and schemes.

Before the third clash began, there was an unexpected patch that provided opportunities to create unique creations with ‘Faith’ points, which was a surprising event.

But that was all. Eung created a powerful artifact in their world that provided advantages in both culture and mystery with their strong magic and charm, while their fellow player created a powerful war commander.

And so began the third world clash. Eung and their fellow god naturally requested a conversation with the opposing player ‘Bin’…

“The opposing player has refused the ‘Conversation’.”

“What. This guy seems to have a violent disposition.”

“Indeed.”

The total score of Eung’s world exceeded 6,000. Although it was a score achieved through complete cooperation with the rat race, the division of labor due to their perfect collaboration resulted in no weaknesses in any aspect.

And the Element and Rat races entered the opponent’s world. Their vanguard, with no weaknesses in physical, magical, ranged, melee, or group aspects, entered the opponent’s world and saw it.

In the sky.

Floating.

That thing.

Upon confirmation with divine power, it was revealed to be an unidentified bubble mass with individual abilities surpassing even the total score of the world created by the two cooperating races.

Eung and their fellow god, upon seeing it, frantically requested ‘Conversation’, ‘Alliance’, ‘Negotiation’, and ‘Surrender’.

“The opposing player has blocked you.”

Eung’s vision went dark.

It didn’t seem any different for their fellow god.
