#121 - Containing Killian
His head slumped to one side, his arms hanging limply. Killian was clearly unconscious.
Ultron casually tossed Killian aside, who rolled onto the ground. As the right arm was reattached, the scepter disappeared once more.
Killian fell to the ground like a rag doll, crashing into a pile of discarded items.
Although Killian was unconscious, Ultron wasn't worried in the slightest. Having been injected with the Extremis virus, Killian wouldn't die from such minor injuries. Sure enough, Ultron didn't have to wait long before Killian stirred.
"Cough, cough!" Killian coughed as he struggled to get up from the ground.
"Come here, Killian," Ultron waved his hand, as if calling a dog.
"Yes, my master." Killian used all fours to quickly crawl to Ultron's side, his eyes filled with fervor as he looked up at Ultron.
"Good boy." Ultron placed his hand on Killian's head.
"I have a task for you to do."
Time returned to the present.
"Jarvis, what's Killian's status?"
Steve contacted Jarvis through the communication device in his ear.
"Killian's plane has landed. He should appear in about ten minutes."
"Did everyone hear that? Get ready, the target could appear at any moment."
"Of course."
"Roger."
"In position."
Hawkeye, Natasha, and Sandman replied.
This operation against Killian only involved the four of them. As for why it was them, it was naturally because they were inconspicuous in disguise.
As for the others, Banner… well, you understand. Thor and the others from the Skyforge were too conspicuous, so they were all on standby at the tower.
Oh, and Tony, all his armor was dismantled, so he couldn't help and had to stay at home.
Natasha, disguised, blended into the crowd and soon spotted Killian.
"Target sighted," Natasha reported through the communicator.
"Follow him, Natasha, don't get spotted. I'm at the entrance."
Steve didn't plan to engage Killian inside the airport, where the crowds were too dense and it was indoors. If Killian resisted violently, it could easily harm ordinary people. The explosion in the video left Steve with lingering fears.
Natasha received the order and casually blended into the crowd, stealthily following Killian, who didn't notice anything and just kept walking forward with his head down.
"I'm almost there," Natasha whispered.
"Get ready, everyone," Steve slowly walked towards the entrance.
"I'm in position," Hawkeye said from his high vantage point.
Killian had just walked out of the airport when a well-dressed, burly man stopped him.
"Excuse me, sir."
"Who are you?" Killian's expression was normal, without a trace of surprise at the sudden event.
"FBI." The burly man took out a badge and showed it to Killian.
"I have some questions for you. Please cooperate."
Killian looked at the badge, which seemed legitimate, but he couldn't be sure.
"What's this about?" Killian asked.
"This isn't the place to talk." The burly man looked around. People were either slowing down or pretending to be busy while standing in place, obviously interested in the sudden appearance of the FBI.
"Let's talk somewhere else."
"Is that so? I think this place is fine." Killian smiled and extended his right hand to the burly man.
"Just kidding, of course I'll cooperate. Where shall we talk?"
"Let's go to my car." The burly man shook Killian's hand, released it, and pointed to the nearby parking lot.
"Lead the way, sir." Killian still had that smiling expression, making it impossible to understand what he was thinking.
"This way, please." The burly man turned and led the way, with Killian obediently following behind him.
Soon, the two arrived at the car. The burly man opened the passenger door, and without waiting for him to urge, Killian got in himself.
Seeing this, the burly man didn't say much. He closed the door and got into the driver's seat from the other side.
"Now, can you tell me what this is about, officer?" Killian still had a smile on his face, but it looked disgusting.
Before the burly man could speak, Killian preemptively said,
"Before that, why don't you listen to my opinion first?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Killian suddenly erupted, pressing one hand over the burly man's mouth and grabbing the burly man's right hand with the other.
Killian finally lost his smile, his expression twisted. The temperature of his hands rose as he prepared to burn this guy who was hindering him from completing Lord Ultron's orders to death.
Controlled by the Mind Stone, Killian prioritized Ultron's orders above all else. His way of thinking could no longer be judged by normal people. He was prepared to solve any obstacles in his path with the simplest and most direct method.

However, the scene of the burly man being burned to death that he had imagined did not appear. The burly man was not alarmed by Killian's sudden attack. He leaned back, and purple mud began to seep out of his body. His entire body began to melt, and he squeezed out of the driver's seat from the gaps.
Killian's burning red hands pressed down on the driver's seat, burning two palm prints into the leather seat with a sizzling sound. If Killian hadn't retracted his hands in time, he probably would have burned through the seat.
"Target resisting! Engage!"
The purple mud re-formed in the back seat. Sandman shouted into the communicator and then slid out of the rear window.
Killian was shocked by the scene in front of him. He heard a cracking sound, and a strange arrow that broke through the window stuck to his body.
Before Killian could reach out to remove the arrow, a current surged out of it and quickly spread throughout his body.
"Ugh, ugh, ugh!"
Killian immediately lost control and convulsed in the passenger seat.
"Target hit," Hawkeye reported.
"Good job." Steve had also arrived at the parking lot at this time and quickly ran to the car they had prepared in advance, ready to restrain Killian while he had the chance.
"Be careful, Captain," Sandman reminded.
"Killian was injected with the Extremis virus. His physique is different from ordinary people. Hawkeye's arrows might not be able to control him."
"I think your worries are unnecessary," Hawkeye said.
"Dealing with superhumans all the time, I'll upgrade my equipment, okay?"
As soon as he finished speaking, before Steve could run to the car, a shocking amount of heat suddenly generated inside the car, and the car caught fire.
"Shit!" Seeing this, Steve immediately turned around and dove in the opposite direction.
"Boom!"
The car exploded. The loud noise and vibration set off the alarms of all the cars in the parking lot.
"Captain! Captain!" Hawkeye's urgent voice came from the earpiece.
"Oh… I'm fine," Steve shook his head.
"Did I just hear a swear word?" Seeing that Steve was okay, Sandman joked again.
"Now is not the time for that, guys," Steve got up from the ground.
"What's wrong, boys?" Natasha asked.
"I heard a loud noise here."
"It's nothing," Steve looked at the burning car. A person, also engulfed in flames, crawled out of it.
"Just ran into a little trouble."
