#139 - Welcome to Wakanda
As the Transmogrifier finished speaking, a decorative plant in the corner suddenly swayed. Its originally gray branches turned green, and it uprooted itself from the soil. At first glance, it looked like it had human limbs. The fiery red flowers gathered together, and eyes and a mouth even grew on them.
In the blink of an eye, an unremarkable decorative plant had transformed into a two-meter-tall plant-person.
"I don't remember buying a plant like that," Tony said seriously.
"Of course, because I'm an uninvited guest." Swampfire cleaned the dirt off himself and walked up to T'Challa.
The Dora Milaje behind T'Challa gripped their vibranium spears tightly, warily watching the unknown creature. As Wakanda's protectors, their duty was to safeguard the royal family, but not to the point of excessive interference. They wouldn't stop everyone, maintaining a sense of national dignity.
"Greetings, esteemed Prince T'Challa," Swampfire said, extending his right hand.
"Hello, uh, Swampfire?" T'Challa said tentatively, shaking Swampfire's hand, unsure if he had heard the Transmogrifier correctly.
"That's me," Swampfire nodded.
"Please grant our request. After all, we're far from home, and two people can look after each other better."
"I don't seem to have a reason to refuse," T'Challa said with a smile.
"Your Highness," Okoye interjected again.
"No need to worry, Okoye," T'Challa said, stopping Okoye from continuing.
"I'll speak with the King."
Seeing this, Okoye stopped speaking. Although repeated objections could be annoying, it was her duty as the General.
"Thank you," Swampfire said gratefully, then looked at Okoye and said, "You are a good subject. From you, I can tell that Wakanda must be a wonderful country."
"The best country," T'Challa corrected, clearly pleased by Swampfire's words, stemming from his patriotism.
Wakanda, a contradictory nation where the ancient and the advanced coexist, its people all possess a rich sense of patriotism. Often, praising Wakanda is more effective than praising Wakandans, which is one of Yang Le's strategies. It's always best to solve problems with words.
Okoye's expression remained unchanged, but she urged, "Time is running out, Your Highness. We should return."
Clearly, Swampfire's verbal offensive was working.
"You're right," T'Challa nodded, looking at everyone. "Then let's depart."
The group orderly boarded Wakanda's aircraft. The advanced Wakandan technology immediately gave everyone a lesson. Even Tony Stark had to admit its uniqueness.
Usually, people can't help but chat on moving vehicles. Sure enough, as soon as everyone relaxed, they started talking, and the most popular topic was that event.
"Speaking of Sokovia, what exactly happened?" Banner asked, looking at the Transmogrifier slumped to one side.
"What do you mean, what happened?" the Transmogrifier asked, puzzled.
"What else could it be? The thing about Four Arms and Diamondhead switching places."
Banner's words caught the attention of the Avengers. Although no one interrupted, it was clear from their gazes that they were all curious about the matter.
"That matter," the Transmogrifier said, feigning sudden realization, but in his heart, he thought, 'Here it comes.' But no rush, he had already thought of a countermeasure.
"Alien technology, kid," the Transmogrifier tapped the Omnitrix on his chest.
"The Techadons logo can locate our coordinates. Through it, we can complete spatial swaps."
"Spatial swaps?" Banner looked at the Omnitrix in surprise. Was Thor right?
"I didn't expect this little thing to be so powerful," Fury marveled. No wonder it was top secret.
"Don't be so impressed yet, its limitations are actually quite significant," the Transmogrifier said.
"First of all, it has a distance limitation. Also, to complete a spatial swap, you need the other party's consent, otherwise, it won't work. There are other miscellaneous limitations, but those two are the most important."
The Transmogrifier's explanation highlighted that he hadn't fully thought it through, and he would add more details later if needed. However, because of the Techadons' previously demonstrated strength, everyone still believed him.
"Regardless of the limitations, this technology is truly remarkable," T'Challa walked over.
"If possible, Wakanda would like to acquire this technology. I wonder what you think."
"I'm very sorry, Prince T'Challa, but any technology from the Techadons requires authorization from the Security Chief before it can be shared with others," the Transmogrifier politely refused.
After all, this was just a temporary fabrication. Although Yang Le had created a bracelet that could teleport Gwen to the base in Universe 65, Yang Le hadn't focused on the technology since then.
Instead, he had gone to study the Time Cycle, and now he was focusing all his energy on upgrading the Omnitrix. This technology had been stagnant for a long time.

"That's a pity," T'Challa didn't press further. In fact, he was only trying to use this matter to connect with the Techadons.
However, the Transmogrifier had directly refused him, either because he didn't understand his intention or simply because he couldn't make a decision on the matter.
But T'Challa wasn't discouraged. There was still a long way to go. Although he didn't know why these people had come to Earth, as long as they were on Earth, they would inevitably come into contact with Wakanda. After all, Wakanda was the most advanced country on Earth.
"We're almost there, Your Highness," Okoye, sitting in the pilot's seat, reminded him.
"What? Isn't there just a forest in front of us?" Banner asked, puzzled.
"You'll see soon enough," T'Challa turned and walked behind Okoye. Turning around, his back was to the windshield.
Ahead was a continuous mountain range, covered with lush trees, and the aircraft was heading straight for that mountain.
Surprisingly, the scene of a crash and casualties didn't occur. The aircraft actually passed through the mountains.
"Welcome everyone to Wakanda!"
T'Challa opened his arms, showing everyone his country with high spirits.
"This is truly shocking," Tony pushed up his sunglasses.
"There's actually a place like this in the world."
The aircraft glided over a vast grassland, with many animals running on the ground, and occasionally people in special costumes could be seen.
Before long, the aircraft brought everyone to a city full of skyscrapers. Even the international metropolis of New York paled in comparison to this city.
Swampfire exclaimed, "Nature and humanity coexist. It's truly a beautiful city."
