"Don't be blindly confident, Raina."

Morlun reminded his sister, understanding from his brothers' accounts that the plant person was no ordinary character.

Raina walked elegantly and slowly sat in her seat, clearly not taking her brother's warning to heart.

Morlun wasn't annoyed by this; he had already warned her, and whether she listened or not wasn't his concern, especially since they could be resurrected anyway.

Raina clapped her hands, and the Rhino brought the Spider-Man he was carrying and placed him on a golden platter. This was a Spider-Man completely transformed into a spider, covered in fluff, which didn't look appetizing.

But for the Inheritors, this was nothing. As long as he had rich totem energy, his appearance didn't matter at all.

"So, my precious daughter wants to solve my problems for me?"

Solus propped his head up with his hand, smiling as he spoke.

"It is my honor, Father," Raina said proudly, tilting her neck like a swan.

"Good," Solus laughed heartily.

"Share your prey with Morlun. I look forward to your performance."

Raina smiled slightly, as if she were about to complete a trivial task.

"Then, let's start enjoying."

The others didn't move; only Solus, Morlun, and Raina began to feast. Of course, only the head of the family could enjoy the food without working. The others could only bear the consequences of failure, which was going hungry and watching others enjoy the feast.

Jennix didn't have any thoughts. He hadn't made any mistakes. If his father remembered, he would naturally leave him some leftovers. If not, he would go hungry and wait for the next meal.

Brix and Bora could only sit listlessly in their seats. A hundred years ago, when they were weak, they often sat on the sidelines. At this moment, they had a sense of remembering the bitter past and appreciating the present. Of course, they were still cursing the true culprit who made them hungry in their hearts.

Daemos was different. He hated everyone equally, including his family members, and his father, and of course, himself. He also hated himself, knowing that if he had enough strength, none of this would have happened.

Meanwhile, in the distant 616 universe, Yang Le and his group had already passed through the portal. To avoid causing panic, the portal was still located in a deserted wilderness.

"Do you know where our target is?" Gwen asked as she walked out of the portal.

"If we're looking for Peter, shouldn't we just go to Queens?" George said matter-of-factly.

"That might not work," Yang Le recalled that Peter at this time should have taken over everything from Otto Octavius and already made a comeback. Yang Le wasn't sure if he could find him in Queens.

Seeing Yang Le deep in thought, the others didn't rush him. After all, Yang Le was the most experienced in traveling to parallel universes among them. As outsiders, they shouldn't interrupt.

Just as Yang Le was still thinking, a loud noise came from the nearby New York neighborhood, causing everyone to turn their heads.

"That's good; no need to think," Yang Le said with a smile.

In the Queens district of New York, a woman dressed as Captain Marvel was directing her subordinates to load a huge, twisted, and disgusting insect egg onto a prepared truck.

"Hurry up! You bunch of idiots!" Dr. Minerva scolded her subordinates.

These clumsy fellows were making too much noise. Soon, all of New York's heroes might be attracted.

As Minerva expected, someone did find her.

"You don't deserve to wear that suit!"

A slightly immature voice rang out. Minerva turned her head and saw that the person was the recently popular new superhero, Ms. Marvel, who was standing on a streetlight, glaring at her, clearly angered by her outfit.

"Don't talk big, little girl," Dr. Minerva saw that there was only one opponent and wanted to quickly resolve the battle. She flew into the air, wanting to take down this ignorant little girl.

"You're the one talking big!" Ms. Marvel Kamala didn't back down, enlarging her fists and punching towards Minerva.

Minerva showed her agility, dodging Kamala's fists. She didn't want to waste time on this fan girl; she wanted to take her down as quickly as possible.

After getting close to Kamala, Minerva immediately revealed her true form, a monster as tall as a three-story building. Her body was covered in gray-blue fur, with blood-red wings on her back, no less than a demon in legends.

Although Kamala was a newbie, she wouldn't be intimidated by the other party's terrifying appearance. She twisted her legs, making them like springs, and then used the elasticity released by the springs to distance herself from Minerva.

The other party was obviously the type that relied on brute force, and Kamala knew she couldn't fight head-on. After all, among superheroes, she was far from being a strongman.

Minerva wouldn't let Kamala go easily. She flapped her wings and immediately caught up with Kamala, who couldn't move freely in the air.

Kamala quickly stretched out her arms, grabbed the decorative stone statue of a nearby building, and pulled herself away from Minerva's flight path, dodging the attack.

"I love Victorian architecture," Kamala wiped her sweat. It would have been very painful if she had been hit just now.

However, Minerva wouldn't give Kamala a chance to breathe. She flapped her wings, turned her head, and charged towards Kamala again. This time, her speed was much faster than before.

Kamala was horrified. Minerva wasn't this fast before?

This was where Kamala lacked experience. Minerva seemed anxious and tried her best, but she had always left room for herself, just to prevent Kamala from seeing through her reality, so that she could take her down in one fell swoop when the other party relaxed her vigilance.

Just when Kamala couldn't dodge in time and was about to be caught by Minerva, a savior appeared.

The Spider-Man of the 616 universe, Peter Parker, kicked Minerva away with a kick aided by his web.

"It's so good to see you!" Kamala shouted with a smile.

"You can be more careful next time," Peter admonished.

"I will."

Kamala stuck out her tongue, but now was not the time to relax. Minerva roared and charged up again.

Although Peter and Kamala were chatting, their minds were actually on Minerva. They noticed the other party's attack at the first moment and dodged the pounce.

Peter shot his web at the other party's legs at the first moment of dodging the attack, and then yanked hard, actually knocking the monster over.

Kamala wouldn't miss this opportunity. Her enlarged fists slammed into Minerva's face in the next second, breaking several of her fangs.

"Combination skill, I like it!" Kamala said with a smile.
