#205 - Brotherly love and respect

Jennix's head fell to the ground. The last expression on his face before he died wasn't fear or anger, but astonishment.

Jennix couldn't understand until his death why his brother, with whom he had a pretty good relationship, would kill him. What madness had possessed him?

But it didn't matter. Once he was resurrected, he could question him. No, if he went, he would only die again. He should report it to their father and let their father punish him.

Unfortunately, he would never have the chance. Daimos didn't pause for even a moment after beheading Jennix. He strode towards the most important place for their family—the resurrection chamber.

By the time Daimos arrived at the resurrection chamber, Jennix's body had already developed to the size of a young man. Daimos's expression didn't change in the slightest. He brandished the chainsword in his hand, smashing all the resurrection chambers to pieces.

Jennix, whose body was not yet fully developed, fell into the nutrient solution full of garbage, like a fish out of water. At this moment, Jennix understood that Daimos was truly insane.

"Was it you who killed our sister?" Jennix struggled to raise his head, questioning Daimos.

"Her? She was fortunate."

Daimos grabbed his brother from the ground.

"She died at the hands of my master, the great Supreme."

Daimos didn't yet know the name of Yang Le's dimensional demon god identity because Yang Le hadn't told him, and he hadn't dared to ask. But even if he knew, Daimos wouldn't dare to call Yang Le by his name directly.

Who would have thought that this dimensional demon god didn't even have a name yet.

"Master? Supreme?" Before Jennix could understand, Daimos had already raised the chainsword in his hand, preparing to have a heart-to-heart with his brother.

"Wait!" Jennix quickly begged for mercy. The resurrection chamber had been destroyed by Daimos. If he died again this time, he would truly be dead. How could he not be afraid?

"I surrender! I can also dedicate myself to the service of the Master!"

At this time, Jennix was utterly pathetic, without a trace of the demeanor of the Inheritor Family's top scholar.

"I have extensive knowledge, I am very smart, I can definitely be of use!"

Jennix struggled desperately, hoping to find a glimmer of hope, and Daimos actually stopped, as if he had really been moved by Jennix's words.

"Huff... Huff..." Jennix gasped for breath, looking at Daimos, who had suddenly stopped all movements. He thought he could survive.

"That one has not responded to you!"

Suddenly, Daimos's face turned fierce, and he finally plunged the roaring chainsword into Jennix's chest. Blood and flesh flew everywhere, and Jennix died in screams.

Daimos casually flung the now-mangled Jennix onto the nearby wall, ignoring him and turning to find the other family members.

But unfortunately, Daimos didn't see any other family members along the way, only servants.

Daimos was covered in blood, and his ferocious appearance far exceeded his previous state. Even the servants who were accustomed to working in the Inheritor Family didn't dare to approach him, all hiding away.

Although they didn't know what had happened to the eldest son of the family, it was clearly not a good thing. It was best not to get involved. This was the thought of all the servants.

As for Daimos, although he had returned to kill people, he had no interest in these ordinary people.

This was the first time Daimos was doing something for Yang Le, so he naturally wanted to do his best. According to his observation, Yang Le was picky, at least when it came to souls.

The reason Daimos thought this was because Yang Le had only taken Reina's soul. Yang Le hadn't even glanced at the other villains Daimos had killed, so Daimos had labeled Yang Le as picky.

For this reason, Daimos naturally wouldn't kill these servants. It would be terrible if Yang Le thought he was wasting time and padding things out.

Moreover, Daimos didn't want to waste any effort, because there was still a big fish waiting for him.

Daimos strode to a door. His father, Solus, usually stayed here when it wasn't mealtime.

In the past, Daimos would have knocked on the door obediently, waiting outside until Solus answered. But now, he wouldn't.

"Creak!"

Roughly pushing open the door, Daimos saw his father, Solus, with his imposing appearance, as soon as he walked in.

Solus sat in a comfortable red velvet chair, hiding his expression in the shadows. Directly above him, a strange creature with a lower body made of precision machinery and an upper body of a naked human female was hanging on a huge spider web.

That was the god of the Spider-Men, the master of the Spider-Totem, the source of all Spider-Man's power—the Weaver.

A hundred years ago, the entire Inheritor Family mobilized and still lost many people to capture him. His mother had also died in that operation.

But who cared? Oh, and Kahn, that silly boy, cared.

As if thinking of some joke, Daimos suddenly chuckled under the gaze of Solus and the Weaver.

"What are you laughing at?" Solus was completely confused. It was understandable. The obedient eldest son of the family suddenly rudely pushed open your door, wearing different clothes than usual, and then came in and laughed foolishly. Anyone would be stunned.

"I saw something funny, Father," Daimos said with a sneer, walking into the room.

The unsupported door slowly closed behind him.

"Oh? What's so funny?" Solus wasn't stupid. He had already seen that there was something wrong with Daimos. He just didn't know what made this silly boy dare to defy him.

"There's an old dog barking in front of me. Isn't that laughable?" Daimos said as he walked to Solus's side. After he finished speaking, he laughed loudly as if there was no one else around.

Solus was stunned at first, then laughed instead of getting angry. He also laughed loudly.

The father and son laughed louder and louder, looking like a model of filial piety.

As for the Weaver hanging on the spider web, he shrank into the corner, away from this pair of crazy father and son.

The heavy door finally closed at this time, blocking the terrible laughter of the father and son.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, not just the door, the entire wall exploded. Daimos, holding a chainsword, retreated from the room, watching the billowing smoke ahead with vigilance.

"You ignorant fool!"

Solus waved away the smoke and walked out of the collapsing room.

"I don't know where you got this new power, but if you want to kill me with it, you're still too naive!"
