#298 - I have a bold idea:
Doctor Manhattan straightened up, and before he realized it, he had already flown out of the Laniakea Supercluster. By the time he landed, he had traversed countless cosmic webs and galaxy clusters, crashing onto a planet beyond humanity's observable universe.
Doctor Manhattan walked out of the crater, and as expected, Yang Le was already standing in front of him.
"The speed of your punch just now exceeded my reaction time," Doctor Manhattan said, his tone subtly changing. "It's incredible. My reaction speed should be faster than the Planck time, but I had absolutely no reaction to your fist."
"I modified reality," Yang Le explained. "I added a setting to my fist that it would definitely hit you in the face, just like this."
As Yang Le spoke, he threw another punch. It seemed ordinary, but it contained the power to destroy galaxies.
Doctor Manhattan blinked. He wasn't unfamiliar with beings of similar life levels, but encountering someone like Yang Le, who relied on brute force and direct physical combat, was a first.
Doctor Manhattan tried to manipulate space, but found that while space was constantly changing, the distance between him and Yang Le remained the same—or rather, the distance between Yang Le's fist and him remained the same.
Failing in one attempt, Doctor Manhattan began manipulating quantum superposition, trying to alter the probability of Yang Le's punch hitting his face, but it was completely ineffective.
Yang Le's punch landed, but not on Doctor Manhattan's face. Instead, it hit a stone, which instantly turned into countless particles.
"That was close," Doctor Manhattan said, his tone still unchanged. "I modified that stone to resemble my face, which diffused your attack. It seems you truly possess the ability to modify reality, capable of forcibly involving even me, who is unaffected by causality."
"You seem to be talking more than usual," Yang Le said, loosening his clenched fist. "I thought you were just a sneaky hyena who likes to attack from behind."
"I did not attack sneakily," Doctor Manhattan denied. "When we first met, your life level was too low for you to sense my existence. And I merely intended to erase you. Notifying you would have been cruel to humans."
Inside the X-Ultra, Yang Le was about to burst with anger, but since he wasn't the only one controlling the X-Ultra, he patiently asked, "I don't remember ever provoking you, did I?"
"You are an uncertain factor from another universe," Doctor Manhattan explained. "I am conducting an experiment, and I cannot allow you, an uncertain factor, to appear in my experiment. Therefore, I had to eliminate you. But unfortunately, I failed."
"Yes, you failed." Yang Le glanced at the Omnitrix on his chest with lingering fear. If it weren't for the little device, he might already be dead.
This story dates back a few months. While in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Yang Le once transformed into Ultimate XLR8. During that time, he felt a peculiar energy generated within his body.
Afterward, no matter what speed-type alien hero Yang Le used, he couldn't reproduce that peculiar energy. Later, with the research of the Little Odd Squad left in the movie universe, it was discovered that the energy didn't belong to the Marvel Multiverse.
Its name was the Speed Force, from the neighboring DC Universe. The reason Yang Le was able to generate it might have been because there were universes where Marvel and DC had crossovers, or it might have been because Ultimate XLR8 was simply too fast, or it might have been because he accomplished the same feat as Wally West, namely, saving a city of people.
However, Yang Le knew that although those who possessed the Speed Force were very fast, simply being fast wasn't enough to gain it. The Speed Force was a very mystical and capricious energy. Sometimes, it didn't even bother with its creator, Barry Allen.
So, no matter how much Yang Le experimented, he couldn't use the Speed Force again. Yang Le speculated that it might have been because the Speed Force in the Marvel Universe was too scarce, so he had a more ambitious plan.
That was to travel to the DC Universe. Of course, for various reasons, Yang Le couldn't permanently reside in the DC Universe. And according to Yang Le's speculation, even if he really obtained the Speed Force in the DC Universe, it might still be the same as before when he returned to the Marvel Universe.
This was because of the Speed Force's characteristics. In the DC Universe, the Speed Force was the hero's tomb for speedsters. Every deceased speedster would return to the Speed Force, and then they would provide energy to the Speed Force like batteries. The two were complementary.
But the Marvel Universe didn't have such a large battery for Yang Le to charge. Without a power source, Yang Le could only use what he had, and once it was used up, it was gone.
What? You say Barry can use the Speed Force in other universes? That's because he's special. Barry Allen is the father of the Speed Force. Every step he takes generates Speed Force.
Whether past or future, the Speed Force first appeared on Barry Allen. He brought the Speed Force to the DC Universe.
Because of this, Yang Le thought for a long time, and finally, with the help of the Little Odd Squad, he came up with a solution, which was to use clones to send a Yang Le to the DC Universe, so that he could bring the Speed Force to the Marvel Universe's Yang Le.
As for how to operate it specifically, not only Yang Le, but even the other aliens he split out were confused, not understanding what the Little Odd Squad was talking about, but after the Little Odd Squad explained, they suddenly understood.
"Our state is different from other creatures with the ability to clone," the Little Odd Squad explained.
"Echo Echo's cloning ability has brought us an extremely free state. Each of us is Yang Le, but we don't affect each other. Genetically, we are very similar, but physiologically, we are the same person."

"This is because we possess the smartest device in all the multiverse—the Omnitrix. It separates us from each other, yet keeps us closely connected. Relying on it, we can do more than just fight in groups. We can even bring the Speed Force to the Marvel Universe."
"What is that?" one of the Yang Les asked.
"I'll give you a simple analogy and you'll understand. Think of the two Yang Les as an exit and an entrance, then the Omnitrix is the channel connecting the exit and the entrance. As long as the DC Yang Le obtains the Speed Force and resides in DC permanently, then we can use him to transport the Speed Force to the Marvel Universe through the Omnitrix."
"Although this idea is just my hypothesis, the feasibility is actually not low. I'm done speaking. Who agrees? Who opposes?"
The Little Odd Squad raised his eyes and scanned the other alien Yang Les surrounding him in a circle, his domineering appearance concealing his height.
